But Ms. Thu stays positive with him, nudges him enough to keep trying, but without scolding him or showing frustration towards him. I'm amazed at her teaching skills and patience. We'll definitely ask for Ms. T again. Hopefully she will have an opening at the same time that my son has guitar lessons. We mamas always have to juggle with our kids' schedules. Edit to add: I just looked at the address and they've moved to Tustin (not sure the address, but near the Market Place). Only issue for us was getting out - as there seemed to be only one area to get out and it would bottleneck after the show. But other than that, we had a great experience watching a musical here.

My problem is with the service here. I came here on Friday, August 21st. The traffic attendants directed us to walk one way in order to get to the theater. My mom and I then went that one way. When we got to the entrance of the theater, before the security check, one of the female valet/parking/rideshare directors berated both me and my mom saying we couldn't come this way. My mom apologized and she continued to yell at us. We were going through security and more people were going through that same way and nothing was said to them. It put a bad taste in our mouth. Then, when we entered the theater, we went to the merchandise booth, The people working the booth mentioned that there would be more shirts upstairs, so upstairs we went. We went directly upstairs, and we asked the attendants upstairs if there was more merchandise somewhere in the theater. They looked at us like we were stupid and said it's only downstairs, until one of them finally said there might be some more in the orchestra floor. Our saving grace was the worker at the merchandise booth up there. She was super sweet! It really put a bad taste in both my mom and my mouth. I really love this theater, way more than Pantages, but with workers like that, it just put a dulled the whole experience. The best part about the day spent here was the spectacular performance of Phantom of the Opera.

His private teacher Cameron is just awesome, and has provided our son with consistent, encouraging feedback. He's made our son comfortable in a way I didn't expect from this place. Unfortunately, I never saw the teacher again as she was replaced with a new teacher the week after I signed my daughter up for class. This new teacher looks miserable every single class. I feel she may not have much experience with toddlers as the class is for 3-5 year olds. Every class, she looks genuinely miserable. Obviously the attention span of 3-5 year olds are short & fleeting but if you can't have the patience to work with toddlers, you shouldn't work with them! My husband was taking my daughter for a few months to class, but I decided to take her last week. I immediately pulled her out after seeing the attitude of the teacher that day with only 3 small toddler girls in the class. She also didn't know my daughter's name after 4 MONTHS of attending class every week. It also felt like the teacher always resorted into a "dance party" when she was over it, and they barely did anything in class. I have put my daughter into a different ballet studio, and it is night and day how the teacher acts towards a much larger class of toddlers. This other studio's teacher was patient, kind, and encouraging to the students. This made me realize that the way the teacher was acting at creation station was not normal & I had to let other parents out there know. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed seeing the attitude of the teacher as a different parent wrote a very similar review on Google. I had no idea that the other teachers who were the reason why this studio had 5 stars left.
