I hired Top Leader to remodel two bathrooms. For the master bath, they fully removed the existing standing shower, and rebuilt it - from basin and flooring to tiling, including creating two niche shelves in the shower wall and installing a new glass door. In the other bathroom, the tub/shower was completely removed, and Top Leader installed a new bathtub and rebuilt the shower walls/tiling. The project also included installing hardware and new floor tiles. The work Jason did is artistry - he was so thoughtful about the design before and during execution of the project. I was also really impressed by how respectful he was, to both me and how he treated my home. The team kept a tidy workspace, and when they were finished with the projects, they cleaned up really well. Communicating with Top Leader was really easy. They were able to get me a quote and start the project quickly, they were on time every day and they worked really hard, finishing the project in a timely manner. We needed a recess in our bedroom to be turned into a built-in closet. I had a couple of companies come out and they seemed inflexible, imposing what they are used to doing, or their taste, then over charging. I then tried yelp and found these guys and got a really good impression right away on the phone. Very courteous. Brendon came out, measured the space, then sat with me and drew up a truly custom job to what we needed, while keeping budget in mind. He brought samples of materials to what I had explained on the phone exactly. When he found out after that my original choice was going to take a long time to ship, he looked hard for a local alternate. The new material was even a better fit than my original choice! We are so happy with how it turned out. They are very neat in terms of craftsmanship, which sometimes is hard to find in LA. The details are great. And the whole process from measure to installation felt fast! We are going to use them for other small jobs around the house where a custom solution is best (our house is tiny). We couldn't have been happier with Top Leader. Eric was great to deal with, he was responsive, fair in their pricing, and very transparent at every step of the project. We had two full bathroom remodels, and a few replacement door installations along with a variety of troubleshooting projects in our 1950's era home that came with a lot of 1950's era problems. Eric's team was very professional and courteous - we were home for the vast majority of their work, and we always felt like they took care to treat our home with respect and concern. Their end-product was fantastic, but I think my biggest compliment for them is that Eric was concerned about getting things right. There were several parts of the projects that we had concerns with, and he was excellent at listening to us and ultimately making sure things were done correctly - and several times during walkthroughs he spotted something without us having to bring it up and made sure it was fixed. I would highly recommend Top Leader Construction! My first project was was the bathroom project. I had water damage in the shower area, and they help me remove the damaged wood and some boards and replace them with higher quality and more durable ones. During the process of the project I realized maybe it is time to do a total upgrade for the bathroom. And they have helped me to finish the project, and it turns out very good. I just bought my first home, and it needed to be upgraded. Top Leader Construction to help me resurface the walls because there was this ugly texture from the 80s on it, paint it because it was so dark and Cave-like, and then add some recessed lighting and new trim. They totally blew me away with the finished product. My house looks like a brand new house even though it is 35 years old. They gave me exactly what I wanted and were very professional. I enjoyed chatting and hanging out with the crew when they were working in my house and Zack listen to me and gave me suggestions on what I should do to improve the home.
