I came to this nail salon when I moved here back in 2018, and was not impressed with the quality. Recently, I decided to give them another try because of their convenient location near home. And then I tried them again, and again, and again. I don't know what changed between the years, but I am so happy to have this nail salon so close to home. I don't typically do reviews but I was disappointed in the service I received at the very end when it was time to pay for my pedicure. I had an older gift certificate that I just found. I realized that the salon was still in business and I could still use it. When I went to pay they told me it was expired. I did not realized this because I would not have gone there otherwise. Just trying to be conscious about what I spend my money on. So to make a long story short, it was old, however the name of the salon is the same and even the person who wrote the gift certificate works there. Nothing has changed. When I further questioned it I was told that it was bought under the old owner. The value was for $15 and I spent $45.Regardless of the date, it was clear that the money was more important than customer service. Myself and my family have gone to this salon and have put a lot of money in their pockets. Its upsetting to see their priorities. Great pedicure, horrible customer service. read more

Rushed from start to finish. They didn't even take off the previous dip all the way. They forgot to file my nails and then barely did. The dip didn't even cover the whole nail, then they Drilled through the dip. Didn't paint the top coat on my entire nail either. My nails are thick and lumpy and bumpy and totally scratchy because they didn't cover the nail in topcoat and the glitter is coming through. I'll be going somewhere else to get them off tomorrow. Just moved to Haddon Heights and am so glad to have found this salon (and that I didn't trust some of these reviews!) Have had two good experiences here recently. Specifically - one of the best pedicures I've ever had. This is a no-frills place that listens to what the customer wants...that works for me! $25 gel mani was better than most $30 manicures I've had. I had gone here a lot since I was younger and they used to do a good job. Now I went the other day and they sucked. They took two customers before us who wanted pedicures and we just wanted to get a full set and had been waiting for already 15 minutes. They clearly did not care that we were there because they ignored us. And then after that they took my sister first which was ok until I had to wait 45 minutes for someone to take care of me so that's over an hour til I even sit down. And then they rushed me and did not do a good job. My nails were crooked and the paint was see through and the top coat was uneven and you can see where it is. Not going back. read more

This is the new location for what was formerly Pretty Nails on White Horse Pike. I had come to love Pretty Nails and it was my regular nail salon, and admittedly felt a little nervous about going to the new location. Top Line Nails really looks exactly like Pretty Nails - the decor is the same and the technicians are the same as well. The nail polish selection is the same as well. The only subtle difference was the attentiveness while waiting. All the technicians were seeing other customers when I walked in (totally understandable and quite normal for a good nail salon) but I was not even acknowledged for at least a half hour. Normally, when a customer walks in, they are greeted and asked what services they would like, and are told to wait for a bit. In this case, I wondered if anyone had noticed me. Eventually, I was brought over to the pedicure station and my feet were being soaked. I figured it was almost time for my pedicure, but it actually was another half hour until my pedicure began. All that being said, I found that, as it was at Pretty Nails, they did an absolutely impeccable job on my nails. Flawless, careful, and beautiful. They really take such good care of you so you look and feel your best. I would highly recommend Top Line Nails to anyone - just be prepared to wait and don't fret if they don't seem to notice you for awhile! read more

I stopped in to ask if I can use the restroom. The woman immediately was rude and said this is not a public restroom. At a glance I seen some of the nail work it was pretty but because I was shunned from the beginning I would not think about going in there to get my nails done ever now. I was going to be a possible customer but that was quickly diminished. The are had local people having yard sales and I am not in the area all the time and did not realize what places were around. As an outsider and possible new customer I felt unwanted and I I did ask nicely. The places that I frequent in my hometown area are less ignorant and more people friendly. I'm not going all the way down to a one-star review, but I have to say after a handful of times going here I will not be returning. I did have a couple of decent gel manicures here but they rush, my pedicure was less than thrilling, and my experience today confirmed that I will not be returning. I was studying with a friend today and she asked me if I could recommend a nail salon nearby to go get a manicure. I recommended this place and decided to go with her. They were clearly busy with walk-ins but this time they were a bit unwelcoming at the door and seemed annoyed they were busy. They never once asked if we could come back later or asked if we could wait a little (which I would have been happy to do). I was a little embarrassed that they were some-what rude after I just brought a new customer through their doors. I have thin nails, and I work as a health care professional so my nails take a beating from hand washing constantly. Because of these factors, I keep my nails fairly short and ask for an extra top coat to keep them durable enough to last 2 weeks. I have been to many, many nail salons and this request is always honored without an issue. It's what works for my nails. Today after getting rushed through a manicure with aggressive scraping and filing, I made my request nicely for the extra coat. The lady said "oh I remember last time you were in etc etc". Shortly after, her colleague (possible owner?) started speaking to her in their native language and they got louder and louder and every few sentences they would point at me and I would hear "two top coats". I sat there quietly but felt uncomfortable because it was evident to me they were talking about me. Incredibly rude and unprofessional, but I still sat there while my nails cured in the light. Then across 3 other clients the woman explained to me how the employee doing my nails failed to inform me that there is an extra $3 charge for an additional top coat, but it's not my fault so I won't be charged. I explained to her politely that I've been there several times and was never charged extra for an additional top coat, and have never been charged extra anywhere else either. She proceeded to explain to me that it was the employee's mistake but I wouldn't be charged next time. I was frustrated because it was inappropriate to discuss this with me in this manner across other clients. I'm not one to argue but I also don't appreciate being treated that way while I am paying for a service. She continued to tell me she wanted me to know for next time, so I assured her I would not be returning for another time and that I would go elsewhere (because $3 extra dollars for another coat of clear polish is just ridiculous), but I remained polite and calm. I then apologized to the woman doing my nails if my request got her in trouble. She told me she never heard of that before. So here are my thoughts: 1. You don't ever treat a customer in that way. Especially someone who is clearly trying to be respectful and patient. I was never rude and I don't expect them to be rude to me. 2. Your prices shouldn't be that unclear so much so that it took the 5th or 6th time for you to communicate it to me. 3. It was evident that a $3 upcharge was worthy of losing business, and losing an additional new customer that I brought with me. If business is that expendable to this place, they deserve a poor review. 4. They don't do a nice enough job here to justify their behavior. The manicures were okay at best. This place is great. The very few negative reviews that they have seem grossly overdramatized. The one lady is crying because they don't have a public bathroom. The other lady is crying because she's picky with her nail shape and the other one because she felt she shouldn't have to pay for extras. Come on. These men and women work their tails off doing a job that not many other people are signing up to do. Every time I go in there they are friendly, accommodating when I have my son and very well priced. I've been to a few salons in the area but this is my go to. I've never encountered one negative customer in the salon either so it's probably best for those people who are difficult to please to stay away anyway. read more

I have used this Salon through the years, but lately I haven't been happy on how long my pedicures were lasting. Not sure if the polish has been too watered down or what. I called over today for an appointment for my daughters birthday for mani/pedis for us both. I spoke with a man who said we could head on over and he could get us in. We drove over and were told to pick a color, sit down and then they would be right with us. Then he said he forgot a girl was waiting in the back for a mani/ped and that we would be right after her. We waited a half hour with my daughter excited to be next. Then rolls in a new customer with her daughter. There are pleasantries exchanged like they know the mom. We wait about 10 more mins and then the man comes back over to us and says sorry we are going to have to take her first even though she walked in after us . He said she had an appointment so she has to go first. Wait, we called and thought we made what was an appointment and now we were just pushed back once again. They had no concern for our time and with our previous quality issues, I have no plan to return again. read more

I've been going to this place for at least 5 yrs. I started in Oaklyn when they were Pretty Nails and folllowed them to Haddon Heights. They are all great! I usually get Jackie. She is sociable and nice and remembers everything we talk about. It's like double therapy. Ive never had a bad experience. The only thing is they are quite busy at times, but all i do is call and ask if they can fit me in. Their prices are great and i always get compliments on my nails. Pedicures are great here, she always gets my hang-nails out. It may hurt at first, but it always feels so much better a few hours later and i know i really need this. Ive recommended many people come here and they have and loved it! I wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

Worst nail job everrrr. JACKIE did my nails. I called only bc it was an hour until closing and also bc I would be coming as a walk in. (I Understand, hence why I called FIRST) I was told ok on BOTH parts. I get there literally 10 mins later as I'm down the street. As shes doing my nails, i explain i am a stickler for shape and I'd like them all even. As time passes she continuously asks me where I got my nails done, why dont I like it, etc. (UNPROFESSIONAL #1.) Shes heavy handedly scraped the gel off.... I asked her to soak them a little longer as these are my REAL nails with just a Gel Polish.... And that's where it began.... after that, I was then told I was too picky (UNROFESSIONAL #2) I ONLY came in bc my nail was broken and needed it to be fix. I'm having license issues so I cant go where I normally go, (something mentioned bc she asked WHERE was my car since I was dropped off) (UNPROFESSIONAL #3). At then end she placed a scalding hot towel and then was told I could go now. I had to clean under my own nails and file the same one I asked her to fix. Like Worst Effing Place Ever. If this was me 10 yrs ago, She would've to been cussed out all the way to high heaven. GO ELSEWHERE!! read more

I was a little apprehensive about going to a saloon with so many horror stories of chop shops out there, but I have to tell you I was Very Pleased with my experience!
