I was very unpleased by the quality of service I received from Top Nails, I made an appointment with David for a manicure and pedicure at 12pm, I arrived 30 minutes early to my appointment so I patiently waited for him to finish. When it was time for my appointment the owner Vivian told me that David was still with the previous appointment and handed me off to another person to do my pedicure and David would finish my manicure. She wasn't very apologetic for inconveniencing me and my time, when David was finally available to do my manicure he rushed through the whole process which then made me more upset because I felt like a number and not someone who was treated with quality care. I then asked for a discount because I was highly disappointed in how my nails turned out. I was told I that I could not receive a discount because I had received a service, which lacks poor customer service on their end because they did not try to resolve the situation, they just simply did not care. Iv been coming to this same salon & same person for over 10+ years. Made an appointment for my usual full set I noticed the second day after i got them done my finger was very sore, swollen and red around the tip & my cutical was very red & painful to even touch! I tried to soak it in warm water for a few days thinking maybe it will just go away. The next day i woke up to excruciating pain and my finger was about twice the size! I immediately went to the ER. The nurse took one look at my finger & said i have bad nail infection underneath the nail bed!! They had to give me 2 shots in my finger to numb the pain . Then they had to cut my finger to drain the fluids/INFECTION that was built up underneath the nail bed. Long story short i was sent home from the ER with 2 antibiotics for the nail infection & one antibiotic for the pain that i have to take for the next 14 days every 12 hrs!! Zero stars. Worst pedicure I have ever had. My 6 year old has painted my nails better! Went in for mani/pedi but after they destroyed the pedi walked out because wasn't about to let them touch my hands. Should have saved myself $25 and just painted my own toes. Every time I went there, I was not happy with the eyebrow wax or the full set. Eyebrows were too straight and the nails were very thick. I decided to try them one more time and specifically ask for the nails to be thinner... Again they were thick. I mean, really terrible. I'll never go there again. read more

I visited the Top Nail in Minooka. I had a full set and it was not done correctly because I had to return 3 times within 2 weeks for broken nails, chipped and peeling. On the third time, the manager said let's just do a full fill in. I assumed they would stand by their service and replace the flawed nails at no charge. When I was told I had to pay, I asked why and the manager became very rude and aggressive. He started yelling at me that if i didn't pay, he would call the police. I was shocked that he got so furious so quickly. I didn't make any demands of any kind, I merely said they should stand behind their product. I have never had a problem at other salons. This place is new and I would not recommend them. I was humiliated in front of a full salon as he was yelling at me and threatened to call the police. I never raised my voice at any time. I use to go here for years but after COVID I'm ok with them. I rather find a new place. I went here to get my nails done by Smokey which usually does an awesome job but after COVID and them expanding their shop things has changed drastically.. they're rude as ever. The one new young girl was extremely rude. I told her I wanted yellow polish she laughed and said why ? I said what do you mean , why ? They then start talking Chinese of course. My toes was done completely wrong so they said come in the next morning to fix which I did. They had me sitting there for almost an hour after they took my time down the day before. So then this same young girl come and try to fix my nails with a file never even put feet in water so I told her absolutely NO AND TO STOP. The guy then comes over and start doing my feet but tries to use THE NEXT PERSON FEET UTENSILS... ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!
