I went in for a manicure the older lady kept telling me I needed nails and I kept telling her I'm letting my natural nails grow. She then had the nerve to tell me that my nails would never grow!?! When you get a manicure aren't the techs supposed to rub your hands?!? She finished painting my nails said how it's cold outside put drops of oil on each finger rubbed the oil in literally for 30seconds max and said your done! Never go here they are rude and unprofessiona!!!! I'm so disappointed my tech sucked!!!! Save your money and go somewhere else!!! read more

First and foremost, I am a repeat customer of this location. The lady who I loved and he did my nails all the time, moved to Florida about a month ago. The last time I went (which was yesterday) was the worse experience ever! I came for a soak off, pedicure and manicure. First, the manicure and soak off. Terrible. I kept having to tell them I did not want a no-chip polish. "You sure?" "It's better!" "It will last longer." "You always get it!" I know what I want and what I asked for. I almost felt I had to explain why I didn't want no-chip polish. The couple fingers that still had acrylic - he just ripped them off - THAT IS NOT A SOAK OFF. Then he did not smooth the previous no chip completely off before polishing. (See picture) Meanwhile, through the very rushed manicure he kept jerking my hand and arm to move them rather than asking and then he had pushed my other arm. VERY RUDE. I'm not sure his name but he has never serviced me before and never will again! The pedicure, done my an older man, was fine. Nothing bad. Also nothing spectacular. However while in the middle of my second coat of polish, he got up and another lady took over. No one said anything to me. Again very rude. So now, three different people have worked on my hands and feet. My feet are ok but my hands look like an amateur did them, not a professional. read more

They are very understaffed and did a rush job on my nails, while this is not there fault, as like i said they are severely understaffed my biggest issue is that i asked for gel nails and paid the higher price but later on with research i found out that what i actually recieved was acrylic. Gel nails are never done with a powder like substance. In short I was ripped off Not only did i recieve uneven rushed nails But i paid gel nail prices for acrylic nails.. read more

For the most part they do a good job on your nails but I think they're very rude. It's like on and off with them sometimes a little un organized and not willing to take accountability for bad service. The ownership before then we're really nice I loved her and her husband. read more

Don't go to table 5. You will get cut on just about every finger. The part that made me most upset was his "protocol" on how to treat a open bloody wound. Let's take the brush and brush away the debris and blood (which was disgustingly old and dirty) then let's take the product that makes you stop bleeding and touch the dropper right into the open sore. If I could have a price breakdown prior to starting service that would be great. What I thought I was getting was a removal of dip powder and a basic pedicure. My pedicure was great-however my removal process took longer and I was charged for a full manicure when I kept voicing NOT to file, NOT to clip-it was unnecessary due to me having a baby soon and not going to keep it up..I said 3 or 4 times "just removal". So I go to the front desk and my total was 55$ for a pedicure and manicure which I voiced I didn't want? Oh and a manicure without a massage, clip down, polish even a base coat or a strengthener? My basic pedicure was 25$ so my procedure to my hands cost more? When I questioned this, and believe me I have the money-I've spent 100$ easy for nails and think nothing-I got an attitude as if it was my fault? I been coming here since I moved here! I just brought my mom in and she is soooo picky and had nothing bad to say. She has really hard feet and some weird corns on her pinky toes and they took care of all that and they were short staffed. They make you feel so welcome and they pay attention to detail! STAY AWAY. I had gone for a birthday treat, and boy did I get a surprise a few days later on my credit card statement. They had written in their own tip on top of the twenty I had already given them. They had added an additional twenty to my card. FORTY DOLLARS IS MORE THAN HALF OF WHAT THE SERVICES COST. I had my credit card company send me a receipt and indeed it is not my handwriting. So my advice is to AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. I always see these kind of stories online, but I never thought something like this would happen to me. I am in disbelief in their dishonesty and integrity. What has me upset is not the money that I am cheated out of, but the lying and dishonesty that was displayed in this act. Mina is the only worthwhile nail tech in the place & today even she disappointed! Went early and Mina wasn't in yet. A gentleman started on my no-chip manicure. After awhile, Mina came in & took over. She cleaned up & filed my nails then handed me over to a young gentleman to apply the polish & finish the job. He never said a word to me the whole time. I was the only customer in the place so I didn't see the need for me to be passed off. This place seems to be getting worse with each visit. Also in dire need of a makeover. There were three people working there. Two women and one man. The younger looking woman (probably about 30, early thirty something) did mine, a full set, simple and nothing that complicated. I gave her a picture to copy from. Set it up next to her so she can see as she's working on my nails. I was polite to her. I tried everything I could to help better the experience. However, my nails did not come out the way I wanted them to and I was not satisfied with her service. The entire time she was doing my nails, she was constantly distracted by her boyfriend on her phone. She wasn't focused on what she was doing. And she was impatient and rude. I spent $70 and paid no tip because she didn't cooperate very well with me or do a good job. They were crooked. She put too much. They didn't match the picture. I was not happy. Went for the first time today, and will never return. Had a mani & pedi and was so disappointed. Equipment and furniture are run down (wrist pad on manicurist's desk had worn hole in it down to the wood). Everything was dirty (nail drying fan on desk full of lint/dust, walls have scruff marks and spots/dirt that have never been cleaned, hand-washing sink had caked-on lime deposits and dirt on the fixtures) and the staff had a sullen demeanor...acted annoyed that you're making them work. read more

This is a wonderful, Mom & Pop nail salon. I've been to all the Joliet area salons, and have to say, this is THE best! Prices are extremely reasonable, the service is excellent, it's clean, the staff is friendly, and feel like family. If I'm going to spend my money on services, I want someone that treats me with respect and is pleasant! PLUS their skill and artistry make for beautiful hands and feet!! New Image Salon gives great pedicures. The problem is the service. I have been to the salon numerous times. Yesterday a pedicure took over 1 1/2hrs even though I was there earlier than other customers. I can understand the wait if others were ahead of me. They only have two people working and I think the owner thought it was alright for me to wait take others ahead of me. The owner is friendly and was the reason I came back. His wife works there and needs to be more customer service oriented if they want customers to come back. I am not sure if I will be back. There are positives with this salon but in order to have customers come back they need to increase their customer service. read more

Never go to this nail salon the wife is very petty, unprofessional and there is no customer satisfaction or nothing everything has to go her way I went here yesterday at 3:32pm and my nail broke out the blue. I work in a office so I do no labor what so ever and I have no kids might I note. I come back the next day to get it fixed and she trying argue with me about it saying what I do I told her nothing I do nothing at work she became offended stating she know this and she know that. She states it because u do fill in then I showed her this was the broke nail he fixed and it was brand new. Then she says he don't remember you he do a lot of nails at this point I'm done talking and say okay and she continue to argue with me saying smart comments while I'm saying ok I'll pay . Dont waste your time and money here. RUDE RUDE RUDE. I felt manhandled. Lady who did my pedicure must have been in a bad mood. She wouldn't look at me directly just kept pushing my feet in the water bin. I felt uncomfortable. She wasn't gentle, actually i dont think she's been doing nails long. She seemsed so unexperienced. Anyway, atmosphere is uncomfortalbe, they have their computer running on vietnameese soap operas, all you hear is crying. NOT RELAXING AT ALL. I got a sitter for this? When she went to do my manicure, I couldn't hold back anymore. She grabed my hand like she was forced to do it and then i asked her "Do you like your job? Because you don't seem happy?" and of course that's when it went downhill. I hate going to these places where these foreign people are giving a service. I am not racist. All I want is a friendly, relaxing place. I dont need to hear their soap operas, I dont mind their music, All i want to do is relax, i dont need to hear them talking in their language when they speak english but hey continue to speak vietnamese. Why are you taking our money when you only give a shtty service? She took 12 mins tops on my feet. I will pay $50 for a pedicure when i get good service. All i want is good service.
