I did not want gel but had to do gel because ALL of their regular nail polishes were old and separating. I had to tell the nail tech, Alexa, that the regular nail polish on my fingers didn't look good, a bunch of bubbles and lumps. She kept taking it off and reapplying. I had mentioned that I wanted a almond shape before we started but I guess she didn't hear me and filed one hand round, so I had to insist on getting the tips more square so my nails didn't look like bubbles. I'm not confrontational so I just brushed. My pedicure was a joke. Very fast and done poorly. My heels have a bunch of cracks, under my toenails which were not cleaned ( I asked when I realized she wasn't going to, but she only barely cleaned under my big toes). I was irritated when I left, no help putting on my shoes. The whole experience felt uncomfortable by that point and I wanted to leave. Look for yourself at this pedicure with the pictures. I know it was super last minute. To my luck Chantelle had an opening! I have never had my lashes done and didn't know what to expect and was worried I would come out looking weird haha. Chantelle is very nice and accommodating. The whole process took about 1:45. Sitting still with my eyes closed was definitely a challenge but I did it haha. A few cons: there is limited free parking so you'll most likely have to pay. I am able to go to the gym without feeling like I need put on any makeup because my curled lashes make me look awake and fresh.
