I've had great experiences for gel pedicures. First off, the staff are so nice. I've had a different nail tech the last 3xs and all were professional/kind. Also, The spa chairs are comfortable. I have felt it was clean and sterile environment. No concerns that crossed my mind there. No issues with chipping either. I went to this place for the first time to get acrylics soaked off. I chose to go here because the place I went to before didn't soak off acrylics. I called first and they said that they would soak off my acrylics and then I got there told them I wanted to soak off my acrylics, and then I sat down, and I asked them to soak off my acrylics. Then I saw them pull out "the nail" (used to rip off acrylics) and I told them I wanted them to soak them off but they said the nail was faster and it doesn't hurt. But I said l'd rather them soak them off and they just used the nail anyways and said or gave a look that said "see it doesn't hurt." I don't care about it hurting (it did) I care about the health of my nails. In the end, after telling them I wanted my acrylics soaked off a minimum of five times, they ripped them all off. It hurt and I could see the layers of nails that I lost. It's just so unprofessional to not listen to your customers wants when they are CLEARLY vocalized. Or at least don't say you will do a service over the phone that are you not willing to do. read more

This place is rude. I went to it for about 6 months and hit my threshold of being treated like garbage and moved to a new salon that treats me right. Some context. I don't do fake nails, I get my nails painted with gel polish every 3 weeks or so. I like the polished and professional look. Anyways. The first tech I saw refused to soak off my polish after a change. I offered to pay whatever price to soak off, still refused. The tech kept filling down my nails. I was in physical pain from the filing. The other male tech had to translate to the tech that I wasn't happy. So I decided to book with the tech that actually understood me. BIG mistake. The other nail tech was bluntly rude to me. Any request I made was met with a snarky remark. He told me if I wanted my nails soaked off, I should do it at home, prior to coming for my appointment. F-that. I've moved to another salon located at the meridian village. They soaked off my polish and told me my nails were badly damaged and to come back after they have grown out. That is the type of service I want. This location DOES NOT care about nail health or about treating customers humanely. They are strictly about getting you in and out as fast as possible, and only know how to work on acrylic nails. DO NOT RECOMMEND and DO NOT go for natural nail work. Save your money and go to a salon that treats you right. read more

Honestly it has been a struggle finding a nail place in this town. I really try to research and read reviews prior, came to top nails today with my friend. She is in a wedding next week and wanted a fairly simple design overall. She tried to ask for corrections during the appointment to get the lines thicker but overall even just looking at the inspo photo and what she received is not okay. She spent 90 for this and a basic pedicure and she wants to go home and just take it off. Putting a matte coat over a shiny glitter cannot be best practice, i know every nail tech has their specialties and things they are good at but if they don't feel confident when seeing the design they should ask for help. My friend felt so uncomfortable after trying to ask for corrections she just gave up. Overall just not a good experience and we won't be back. read more

I can bring her any picture of nail art and she will replicate it and do it better!! I started going to Top Nails after a bad set of nails at another salon. A year and a half later, they are still my favorite salon. I have tried a few other salons in between since I'm not close to that part of town anymore. But I always end up going back to Top Nails for gels, fills and pedicures. Their prices are reasonable, they are quick but efficient, and the results are consistent. The shape and color of the nails have lasted until my next fill. I've never had an issue with chipping or break (other than pop out, which can happen on an old set). I've never really had any issue other than sore cuticles on a few occasions and a gel that didn't set. Overall they do a great job. Nothing instagram worthy, but would recommend them to anyone in search of an everyday nail look. read more

My favorite nail shop in Boise! I come in every few weeks for a pedicure and will occasionally get a gel manicure. Doesn't matter which tech you get, as they all do a great job. For pedicures though, I always feel lucky to get Danny because he does an amazing leg and foot massage! Prices here are well within reason and affordable enough that I can come in every 3 weeks or so with no guilt. They do take card/cash, but cash is preferred. Appointments aren't required, but I usually try to call ahead to ensure I have no wait time. The nail color selection is also very good for gel and regular mani/pedis. One of my other favorite things about this shop is that they don't try and force you to get anything you don't want. read more

No stars at all! My first time had my nails.done and they looked like they were lifting off. He had no idea how to put the acrilic on. My nails looked like waves. I was one of the last people out. Asked next day to come for a fix, he said it was because of my nails. Deacribed to him how nail bad shouls look and be shaped...did little better but did not fix them. Said if I did not like the place there is nail salon on every corner. I had him redo evry nail. So rude that during my appitment both times he was talking in their native language with other employees. They were not happy to have to do double job. Very unprofesional and disreapectful. I encurage everyone to give their feedback, I will ask everyone I know to do the same and will definatly continue to spread the bad word about the place. DO NOT GO HERE! I had acrylics done and they hurt so bad. At first glance they looked nice, but if you stared you could see problems. The base by my cuticles weren't all straight and they started lifting 2 days later. The man (who owns it with his wife) really hurt my skin with the electric file thing. He also chipped some of the fake nail tip with it so my French tip was see-through on a couple corners. I wish I had taken pictures. It was terrible. A lot of the reviews I read said they were great, so long as the owners did your nails, but they still failed to impress me. I went there in a pinch and now know I will never go back! read more

This is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. First their sign said a full set was $25 but charged me $55 without communicating the stuff was more. Then one of my nails was crooked and they said it was my fault and they couldn't fix it. They just filed it down. So now I have one nail shorter than all the other ones.
