She loved the fact that she connected with her and that she listened to what she wanted done and her nails look beautiful. The vibe is very calm and welcoming. The owner Jenny is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Do not support this business. $95 FOR A FILL that turned out NOTHING like requested. I hate to say this because the techs are very kind, and I have come here a number of times without issue (the owner has never been friendly, I have seen her speaking rudely to many other customers but nails have always turned out good and I hadn't had any personal issues with her before), but last week I came in for a fill and had a customer service experience that was unforgivable. Upon arrival, I asked my tech if she could do the pictured design as a fill, or if I would need to get a full set. She said yes, that she could do this design on my current nails. I said are you sure it will work with the length, etc., she says yes, no iffy-ness at all. Before we started I also asked the price and she said "around $75". After she has completed the French tips and the dots, she says yeah I won't be able to do the center design because the nails are too short. Which was a bummer because I wouldn't have chosen the design at all if she told me she couldn't do it from the start. At this point I did not feel comfortable telling the tech to completely re-do my nail design but they clearly look nothing like what they are supposed to be. I get to check out and to my absolute shock I am told the price is $95. Absolutely shocking for a poorly done FILL. I didn't want to make a scene as there were people over there so I just quietly mentioned oh I was told $75, with no response from the girl cashing me out. Again at this point I don't want to make a scene so I decided the best thing to do would be to contact the owner directly and she if I could at least be refunded the design fee ($25) or if anything could be done. I sent a very polite message that same day, explaining the situation. I messaged again the next day to make sure my message was received--and in response, I get a phone call. Firstly, I was shocked when it was my nail tech on the line. She sounded sad and quiet, clearly being forced to handle a customer service issue that should have been handled by the owner. I apologized for not telling her in the moment how I felt and she proceeded to timidly argue with me back and forth, making me feel awful, and then offers for me to come back in and she will fix the design (?) There is no fixing the design, clearly it was out of her skill set so I said well if you can just do a solid color and refund the design fee that would be fine, she says no there will be no refund. Eventually the phone is passed to the owner who proceeds to tell me off (again I am being calm and polite while attempting to stand my ground. I work in customer service and know that this deserves a solution) EXTREMELY rudely, not listening to a thing I have to say. Telling me I'm lucky they're offering to fix the nails at all, and if this ever happens again they wouldn't do anything for me. Belittling me and my concern, telling me this is all my fault because I didn't tell them the issue in person; which again I explained it didn't seem like the appropriate time with a packed salon as she was doing someone else's nails, and it was too late in the process to resolve it with the tech when it became clear the nails were not turning out. At the end of course I told them I'm not coming in to fix the design. "Are you sure?" Um yeah, as much as I've enjoyed your incredibly disrespectful behavior and this unprofessional conversation that almost has me in tears, I'm pretty sure I won't feel comfortable coming back to your salon. I ended up going to another salon the next day for a color change; she ended up completely having to re-shape and file my nails because they were so poorly done. The whole salon was shocked at the quality of work and the price. Truly could not recommend a salon less, and I feel bad for the nail techs who work here and have to deal with the owner. I wish I could give more stars for White Angel Nails! I have gone to A LOT of different salons and hands down, White Angel is THE best. I love the booking and confirmation process with paying $20 to reserve my date and time, that then is applied to the total when I pay for the service. This makes it so simple and I can rest easy knowing that I'm locked in. It's also a great way for me to show my commitment and respect to my nail tech's time as well They are very accommodating if ever I need to reschedule as well. Now to the detail, craftsmanship, just out right artistry that the nail techs at White Angel have is truly unmatched! And it's not just 1 nail tech...I've gone to several different nail techs at White Angel and the perfection is consistent across the board. Without fail, I always get comments on how great my nails are, from the design, to the shape, to the quality and how well they stay on without any lifting or breaking. (Arelly is a true artist ) The team at White Angel is so welcoming and it's so much fun laughing and joking each time I get my nails done. Called ahead to see if they had time for a walk in gel mani/pedi, they told me 30 min from the time I had called would be a good time to come in. I showed up 25 min later, anticipating to wait for 5-10 min since I was a walk in but had called. I sat with no one speaking to me for 35 minutes and then was finally sat in a pedicure chair. I then proceeded to sit in the chair for an addition 35 min before anyone came to get started on my gel pedicure. At this point I had been at the salon for over an hour and was just getting my feet soaked. The pedicure took an hour and a half to complete. I got the express package, no extra scrubs or pizazz because I was wanting to get out of there. I got a solid color plain gel, no designs. Then the nails took another 1.5 hours to complete. I got plain gel, same color as toes and no designs. When going to pay, the tech charged me for services I did not get done. She was trying to charge me for a more expensive pedicure package and nail designs I did not receive. At this point I had been in the salon for HOURS and was exhausted. I did not want to be a Karen and fight about the costs, but charging me for the wrong services when I had been with the same tech the whole time seemed purposeful to me. I corrected about the price, paid, and got out of there. My nails looked great, at first. I was happy with it but super unhappy with the service, $90 price tag for plain gel, waiting time, and rude employees. Typically gel can last me 2+ weeks. The nails DID chip after a week, I was on vacation and in the ocean so I am giving them grace that that might be why. However, this was a very disappointing experience and I will not be back anytime soon. Staff was inflexible and inattentive, prices are insane, wait time and length of appointment was the worst I have experienced, nails did not last as long as expected for the time I was in the salon. read more

I stopped the lady from painting them PINK and she told me it would "fix my nails"?? That's definitely not what they did. They also rip you off and charge you 20 dollars before every appointment that is supposed to go "towards your nails" and I'm realizing it never goes toward my nails and disappears. The behavior of the people there have recently been super rude and inconsiderate, as well. I will never go here again. I am always a bit leery when I venture away from shops that I know, but my nail lady at my old shop left so I decided to check this place out after reading the reviews. I have been getting my nails done by Jenny, off and on, for 5-7 years. I have recommended this place to all my friends and family and have adjusted my expectations of Jenny's processes because she is talented and does a great job. I supported her business decision to begin charging a $20 deposit to book appointments because I saw first hand the difficulties they were encountering with "no-show" appts. I didn't blink an eye when I went in for a fill and was charged $40 for the fill + $20 deposit to book my next appt + my $10 tip for Jenny for her great work = $70 after my first visit. I proceeded to pay $50 for every fill after that, assuming my $20 deposit was rolling over each time. Tonight I asked to use my $20 deposit towards my next service of having my acrylic nails removed (it's time for a break) and am told, very rudely, that I do not have $20 towards my next appt. After a few back and forths, I locate my original payment on my credit card statement and attempt to show proof of my original payment amount. Jenny pulls out multiple hand written ledgers and locates my original appt but says that because she didn't have it noted, that I did not put down I deposit. I again tried to show her the payment amount on my credit card statement and she INSISTED she would not have held my $20 for months at a time. I said I understood but that does not change the amounts I have paid for each appointment. I asked Jenny is it was possible for her have made a mistake to which she responded, ABSOLUTELY NOT and had an accusatory tone. I asked that she check her records and get back to me and again she pointed to her hand written notebooks of appointments and said she would not have rolled over the deposit. How can you not even attempt to check?! I wasn't going to continue with this embarrassing conversation over $20; however, I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. At that point is was no longer about the $20, rather her tone and disregard for proper customer service. I will gladly take my LOYAL business elsewhere. read more

My pedicure was almost over an hour... and you'd think if they spent that much time doing a pedicure it would have turned out okay. Spent quite a bit of time waiting and that's even with an appointment. The gal I had did not speak English, she couldn't understand English. She was hurting me using the electric file to grind off my remaining polish. I kept telling her how hot it was and she couldn't understand me she had to ask the other gal what I was saying. She also cut me with the cuticle cutter to where I was bleeding. I would have honestly walked out in the middle of it but my niece was getting a pedicure also and she was enjoying it. My polish is thinner is some places than other and you can see through it. That's with Gel. While the gal was working on my feet she messed up twice and scraped the gel off when she put the light over it. It's not even been 24 hours and I haven't even done anything and the gel is peeling off. In the picture you can see where she didn't fix it but I tried to tell her and she couldn't understand me. Tracie did an excellent job on my nails. She was very detailed and made my nails look exactly like the photo I showed her. They are a little bit more expensive than other places but it is worth the quality. Tip: Don't try to just walk in, you definitely want to call ahead of time to make an appointment as they are consistently busy throughout the day.
