I have been coming here for awhile now.. I tried switching it up going to other salons but either the price is to high or they cut me. When I am here I usually come on an off day during the day because it does get busy in the later hours or even on weekends they are busy. Best time to go is in the morning. I stray away from gel nails because it just ruins them I always do dip or painted. Most of the nail technician take there time, make sure the nail length is the same and always ask the shape. I usually just do square and then shape them at home on how I like them. My nails usually last me up to 3-4 weeks. After that I usually get them done or just continue to let them grow out. This place is straight Garbage! Years ago it used to be so busy and crowded. I gone only twice in 3 years and it is so EMPTY, now. Today, I received the most mediocre and unprofessional service. I went in for a fill, which was $25. I gave a 20% tip because I know service people rely on tips and last I checked that equals $5. That Cvnt asked me two questions when i sat down and when she walked me over to the other booth to get my nails dried which was "do you want your purse in the chair" THIS was all she ever asked me. I do not recommend this nail spa! I am done! Although they have a few pretty good nail techs, at the end of the day they are rude and for the most part inconsistent. Either I get the one that's moving so fast to get me out of the chair to get the next person, or the one who just finished school and can't polish or do designs..... My most recent experience, there was a slight hiccup with my polish ... It kept clumping! The tech ...Vivian did it over a few times. Became upset with me because I asked her to redo.... She begin throwing her things in her bucket, speaking in a different language causing all the ladies to look at me and my toes when they passed by. Not to mention during the pedicure she cut my foot in two places... When I told her she cut me and to be careful where she sprays the alcohol she snapped back "ok ok ok" and sprayed it anyway! Another lady does my manicure, she sits down and says " I know you are very picky, so let me know what you like" Excuse me? You know nothing about me, in fact I've never seen you before in my life. You say that because your friend is complaining about me because I asked her to redo a toe that was clumpy! Finally talked to the manager.... She listened to all my complaints and said vivian won't do my nails again... And said $35. Well that's not going to work for me because not only was my service horrible today, but your tech cut my foot twice in different places and on each foot! She said $30 and you complain all the time! At this point I'm offended because I NEVER complain! I usually only go to one tech (Kimberly) but she is out sick, I don't have these issues with her because she is thorough and takes her time. Furthermore, If I ever have a problem I take it out of the tip, not complain. Love this place. It's about five minutes from my house, they do a consistently good job, and the prices are great. I go every Saturday for a manicure (not fake nails, my own) and every third Saturday, I get a pedicure. Sometimes I add in the paraffin wax or whatever. I don't even make an appointment and the wait isn't that bad, but this place is jumping. It's always full, but the wait isn't bad. It's worth it, to me. The regular manicure is just $11. The only complaint I have is the selection of nail polishes isn't great. There are a lot, don't get me wrong, but most of them look old and separated, etc. I like a selection of nice polishes. But since I tend to want to bring in my own so I can touch up, I just bring in my own. Still, I do wish they had better polishes. But my toenails and fingernails ALWAYS look good. read more

i watched a customer get up and pay and without sanitizing anything the lady doing my nails told me to sit down exactly where she was then i asked for a regular manicure and all the lady tried to do was sell me powder nails and gel nails. first i said yes to gel nails then she tried to get me on powder by saying "they're better for you let me show you" and still after refusing and she took them off i asked for nothing at all and she continued to be persistent about powder then gel nails. when i asked for just a manicure again she seemed to be put off and all she did was file my nails to a terrible square and dig in them with the nail file to the point where it hurt me. i wanted to cry the whole time. she didn't even clean my nails or do anything else. then i asked for a clear coat and she does gel after telling me they're bad for you and digging in my nail to the point where it hurt. i'm not one to leave reviews but this was the worst experience i've ever had at a nail salon. to make things worse the person i went with asked for a manicure also and they got hot towel wraps and a sugar scrub and i got nothing. not even clean nails. she pretty much filed my whole nail off. read more

I wouldn't recommend this nail spa! I went in for a eyebrow wax and was really disappointed with my service!!! I will say they greeted me as soon as I walked in which was nice, but then they just said to go to the back without any guidance. I went into this small room with two wax beds one which had a filthy towel laid on it and the other with paper which look like someone had laid on it. (I'm just standing there waiting on the waxer to come in) examining the room the wax pot looks gross! I tear the paper and lay out new for myself then finally someone comes in. She starts and finishes the service painlessly. But when I look in the mirror to look at my brows one was messed up!!!! Like she took to much hair from the front of my brow which took me at least 4 months to grow and also i have thick brows and she made them super thin which I'm not a fan of which I explained to her before she started. So we go to check out she says "$8" and I ask "What do you guys do if a guest is unsatisfied with a service?" She responds, " $8" I'm like I can't get a complementary service or the service be decreased in value since it wasn't to my liking. She says no. I pay the $8 or $9 and just leave it at that.. I normally wouldn't write a review for a place, but I just had to for this trip. I've been here once for a pedicure and it was ok, not the greatest. Today I went to get a pedicure and it was going fine and the the lady who was doing my pedicure cut my toe! She continued to keep painting although I was bleeding heavily. I walked out and turned right back around and showed the lady my toe and she made me go sit under the light for 10 minutes before I waved her back over. If I hadn't asked her to fix my toe, I don't think she would have done it. They offered me no refund and there was no apology. So I won't be coming back here. This is one of the few sanitary and affordable nail salons that I've been able to find in the dfw area. The prices are extremely reasonable ($25 for a basic pedicure with a design on both big toes), there are a wide selection of colors and design choices for manicures and pedicures and the staff is extremely friendly. It is clear where the clean tools versus the used tools are kept and the interior of the salon is clean as well. Techs use gloves when working with the clients and do not reuse materials. Each time i come in everyone is nice and helpful but the last two times I have come I have sat down at the same time or within a few seconds of another client, and without fail I always end up finished and out the door before the other person..now to spell this out: my massage was shorter time, my nail clean up, and alll that jazz was NOT as the other person paying the same amount as I. If I could give negative stars I would. I rarely review on Yelp but when you leave a place of business absolutely insulted you make an exception. Long story short, I asked for the dip manicure in a natural cream color. What they gave me was a pink overlay. Not at all what I wanted and now my long natural nail beds are ruined bc they are DRILL HAPPY. I chose my color from the color samples and they claim the color recently changed, uh, okay, then change the sample. They tried to fix it by adding a purple then told me it's just people "like me" that don't "get it." I ended up with an awful powder pink that is horrid on my complexion and was literally in tears crying in front of everyone in the shop out of frustration. As a mother of three young kids this was given to me as a birthday gift in December and just now was able to use it just for this shop to completely ruin the experience. They did try to only charge me for the pedicure but I left my full gift certificate anyway - I would've had a $30 balance but even if it was $100 I will never come back to this place. read more

My wife and I have been going here for years - Literally. She always get's the mani and deluxe pedicure and for myself, the deluxe pedi and the occasional waxing of the very small patch on my back. They usually do a decent job ( I've seen better & I've seen worse) For the price however, it's always been a fairly good deal. Yesterday we went in as we do once a month and got the same services as always, but when cashing out, they charged me $40 to wax the itsy bitsy area on my back, which was strange because they've always charged me $12 everytime. For the past 4 years, we have always received the exact same rate at checkout time, so when they rang me up yesterday, the final price floored us...We paid it with much relectance and called the next day to speak to the owner...He basically called us both a liar saying we were wrong...ok, pretty sure we arent crazy and just making up the fact that the waxing has always been $12 ...I mean, cmon, that's not even close. I told him after 4 years, we'd be taking our business somewhere else ( there isn't a shortage of asian nail joints around town) and I also warned him of a bad review on Yelp, so here I am...and here it is.
