I closed my eyes really really tight and then it was over. The location was a little difficult to find even with directions. I'm also not familiar with the Duncanville/Dallas, so that could have contributed to my troubles. I didn't know what to expect... From the building or the procedure. I'm glad I got it done. I have been calling since October to cancel my membership due to constant turnover of sugarists and lack of consistency in care. Every time I called, I was told a manager would call me back. That call never came ,not once. This went on for weeks, despite repeated attempts to speak directly with the manager, Jee. During this time, my card continued to be charged $55 for November, and December even though I clearly expressed my intent to cancel and had not returned since my last appointment in October. I also explicitly asked for my card to be removed from file, yet it continued to be charged anyway. When I finally received any response, the manager made assumptions without ever speaking to me directly and only refunded one month ($55) without calling to discuss the situation, her lack of follow-up, or the repeated unauthorized charges. I am still owed refunds for the remaining November that was charged while my cancellation requests were being ignored. Throughout this entire process, communication was handled (when it happened at all) through text messages from an unreachable number, which is extremely unprofessional especially when dealing with billing disputes and unhappy clients. There has been zero live communication from Jee despite multiple complaints, including my most recent one on 12/28, after my card was charged again on 12/25. It took two months to finally receive a cancellation form which raises the question: why wasn't this provided in October when I first started calling to discuss my concerns of turn over and not wanting to continue with my membership. Additionally, I lost three different sugarists during my membership, leaving me without a consistent provider. While the sugarists themselves were kind and professional, the management is not. No client should have to chase a business for months just to cancel a membership or stop charges. Because my concerns were ignored, I had to contact Wells Fargo to report the establishment and stop further charges. This practice feels extremely shady and unprofessional. I will not return and have reported this issue. I am also escalating this to corporate. I strongly advise others to be cautious if you have an issue or want to cancel, expect delays, ignored calls, text-only communication, and continued charges. Very disappointing experience

A VERY BIZARRE ENCOUNTER:…read more I had a consultation yesterday and arrived 10 minutes earlier. When I arrived the owner was sunk down into the seat at her desk which startled me. She told me to come on back into her work area and I immediately noticed how slurred her language was and how she looked as though she might fall over at any time. She asked if I'd filled out a questionnaire and then glanced over it extremely fast. Finally, she told me "looks like you're fairly healthy. You're good." It didn't feel thorough at all. She then started pointing at the diagram to explain the electrolysis process and I could not understand half of the things she was saying. I finally asked her if she was ok and she made a comment that she'd taken a nap. To be honest, it did not look at all like a nap. It looked like she was either sick or had taken drugs or drank too much. She was clearly out of sorts. At one point she sat down and could barely sit upright so she leaned over the electrolysis bed while talking. It felt like I was watching someone in "The Hangover". I have never experienced this at a place of business and felt I needed to write a review because I do not feel it is safe for her to be administering electrolysis while in whatever state she is in. If her words are as slurred as they are, I can only imagine how unsafe her work will be.

I finally received a reply after I texted the number instead, multiple excuses were given as to the reason for the delay in getting back to me - Booked the appointment for a couple weeks out. Showed up half an hour early for the appointment, called 4 times with no answer, texted with no answer and received a call back 5 mins before the appointment time to be told she had car trouble and couldn't make it. I don't believe it was a lie, but only letting someone know 5 mins before is unprofessional and then not pushing the appointment back but canceling it for the day was disappointing Rescheduled for another day, but when I asked if she was sure she'd be able to be there she said she "couldn't make any promises" Life happens, but please do better about making and keeping appointments or giving adequate notice. This would have been my first facial and I'm disappointed I couldn't see how the actual experience was.

I had two small punch biopsies on my cheek that left permanent holes (from a dermatologist). Didn't think there was anything that could be done about it, well I was wrong. She used the Lamprobe system and they filled in and closed back down to pore size. Her prices are reasonable and her place is pretty and very clean. I see she had a couple of 1 star reviews on this site that had nothing to do with her services but a Groupon issue. All I can say is the many times I have come to her she has always done an excellent job.
