But I unfortunately may have to start looking for a different barbershop because I'm on a fixed income as disabled senior and honestly I feel $30.00 plus a tip is pretty outrageous. I understood when after the Pandemic the prices increased a bit to cover for PPE and lost revenue but $30. They provided me with next day appointment no problem. Then came the big surprise: The owners are from istanbul and they welcome You with famous Turkish hospitality. Sakir cut my hair with no problem to my standards and usual cut , and had a big warm chat. The shop is very comfortable and there is an ample parking next to it. Despite looking an empty store from the street the guys are actually quite on their feet working back to back. So i would suggest a reservation just in case . First, we called to check availability and they mentioned we had to make an appointment through booksy. So we did. When we arrived I noticed the decor was aesthetically pleasing! It's very modern & classy. I can tell they focused on a lot of detail. Second, Mike gave our son the perfect and effortlessly haircut. He was super gentle with him . The clippers he used where very quiet and did not startle our son. The final touch, was a Certificate of his first haircut, that includes a lock of his hair on it! And if you drive, there's plenty of parking in the area. You can even grab a cup of Joe at the new deli on the corner while you wait to be called in. Having said that, you just can't beat the service! Both Pat and Dave are excellent barbers. They treat you with respect and everyone who comes out always look happy! That's because both Pat and Dave know the modern styles that all the kids love. And mind you, I've tried all the barbershops on the South Shore. Some give you a quick cut, some take their time in the beginning to hook you, and then they treat you as if they didn't know you after you've tipped them well! That doesn't happen at Pat's.
