AI is an old fashioned barbershop located in the New Dorp section of the borough. The proprietor Joe Pugliese is an old friend, and I pop in once a year to visit. Joe employs seven other barbers, and all of them are "characters." AI accepts appointments Tuesday through Friday, and walk in only on Saturdays. All of the barbers are highly skilled, and a bit too talkative for my taste. Joe has been cutting my hair for many years, and I can't say that he is very talkative. Instead he focuses on his work, and his work is very good. I got an excellent haircut from Joe, and an animated debate from one of his patron's. I'm not sure when I will return, but I hope that it is soon.

I started coming to this location, I was coming to them since they were located next door. Gary was my first barber at Next Level and I kept coming back to Gary. He cut my hair perfectly and just the way I wanted it. Once you choose your barber you can call or text your barber for an appointment.
