Home Drywall and Painting - Painted over the ceiling vent/fan

The knob was also there Friday and magically gone when I went down Sunday and I live alone. Project manager is a weak pushover who's crew tells him whats what and clearly have no respect for him and only hears what he wants to. He himself even said "i clearly need to be more present on this project" how does that not indicate quality issues? I consistenly had complaints about the work and mentioned hiring someone else multiple times hence why we had a 2nd crew come in after giving up on the first. Owner tried to call me and offer a partial refund to take my review down. Terrible people, terrible company. Also the person who replied was NEVER at my home. Never met him as Gerid was my project manager This crew has caused damage or issues in EVERY room they've touched including my new vanity and painted over the counter top. A professional company should able to handle having other trades in the home. These guys will lie right to your face by saying "we want to make this right" over text then come to your home and try and blame it on another trade that obviously didnt do. Some of the damage was done when no one else but these guys were in my house and other trades confirmed they train not to set anything on countertops, but thats these guys natural instict. Additionaly, they are the only ones ive seen setting items on my counters. I even took a photo of this crew leaving tools on my counter top uncovered after already firing one crew. This last Tuesday they caused more damage to my vanity by splitting some of the wood. They had the audacity to say "it happened during install" I inspected it before signing off on the install and it was in PERFECT condition. This is one of those "customers are dumb and dont understand what we do so tell them whatever nonsense you like and they will believe it" kind of companies. Doesnt matter if your own eyes witnessed something or not to them. This new crew were supposed to "have very good attention to detail", but caused issues on literally day one. The next compalint is the quality of work which is TERRIBLE. ABSOLUTELY DONT HIRE THESE GUYS FOR PAINTING. Most of the time these guys are working in my home its correcting mistakes. Not only did these guys not bother removing things like screws and washers from walls and just paint over them they didn't even take the outlet covers off at first so there was a weird outline around all my outlets until they corrected it. These people are flat out reckless and seem to think they are working on a new construction site and not someones occupied home. Their idea of a "job done" is also a complete joke. They told me my downstairs was completely done. I go down there and its a MESS. Multiple outlets covers not put back on, door still off the hinges, trash and plastic still on the floor, zero vent covers back on. The biggest complaint through all of this has been the lack of having a "crew" here to do the job. For reference I initially was going to do about 25k worth of work before I gave up on these guys and switched to someone else so, you'd think id be able to get more than 1 person in here. What usually happens is a full crew of 3 or 4 guys show up in the morning when the project manager is here, then when the project manager leaves ALL but one of them stay. If I had to guess these guys bit off more than they can handle and the crew working on my home probably gets pulled to more "important jobs" leaving me hanging with my house a mess. For a lot of the days I've only had 1 person in my home working. Go with either Patchmasters or On a Roll. Both are more professional, had no issues with the "obstacles" these morons did and laughed and said "people live in their homes, no problem" guess they are just better at their jobs. And better items to use to cover my floors compared to cheap paper that rips. They were shocked at how bad some of the work these guys did. Drywall and painting are in the name, yet suddenly too "complex" to handle. What a pathetic joke to the industry.
