A thorough review of the contents to be moved versus the cursory review by competitors. 2.A competitive price. 3.Our things were moved in dedicated trucks and not mixed in with other people's stuff. 4. Honestly about damages: a table literally fell apart during packing and the crew pointed it out to me rather than concealing it. 5. No high pressure sales tactics. 6. The guys were patient with my wife repositioning furniture at the destination. 7. Nothing was broken although we had quite a few minor dings in furniture. 8. Crews showed up on time at both ends of the trip. Negatives include: 1.No formal acknowledgement of payment. They were almost offensively anxious to get the final payment even though the third and final truck had not arrived. 2. Loss of focus at the end of the day: We did a walkthrough at the end of the loading process. Every time we found something that needed to go into the truck, the guy leading the walkthrough took it out, chatted with the guys on the truck, and then we would lose our place. This resulted in a few things being left behind. At delivery, the guys took down a door to get furniture into the basement but never put it up again. They also left a moving blanket and personal items belonging to one of the guys. The items were eventually restored to their owner. 3. Not mentioning messes or problems. After the truck left I found that one of our toilets was plugged with toilet paper, paper towels, and human waste from someone that was apparently ill. Fortunately, I found the problem and was able to unplug the toilet and clean things up so this mess was not left for our cleaning crew. I think I would have responded calmly to this if I had been told about it. I can appreciate that it would have been embarrassing to report this to me. I'm human too.

The broke numerous items, one of the four movers quit midway through the first day and wasn't replaced, adding to the total hours. Two of them were on their first day and had no idea how to pack. A single saucer had two feet of paper wrapping. They added things from different rooms to boxes, so a toaster in the box with the bedding, etc. They broke two things, gouged the stairs, stole a bottle of pain killers, asked if they could have one of our personal items, and left a bunch of stuff at the old house we had to hire a separate hauler to move. Do not hire them--it was a complete disaster and mismanaged from beginning to end.

I scheduled a move and Sarah accommodated my last minute scheduling. Sarah sent the POWER TEAM of Demetrius and Demetrio, whom I have affectionately nicknamed The DOUBLE D's (LOL). Demetrius and Demetrio arrived slightly early and ready to go to work! I had most of my things already packed in storage containers on wheels and few other things in boxes. Demetrius and Demetrio moved my items from the house to the deck off the backyard onto the truck and they were prepared with all the equipment necessary (ramps, bumper pads, etc) to make the move smooth, efficient and to prevent damage to my things. These two moved so quickly, I was amazed and couldn't pack my remaining things fast enough! They were willing to wait for me to pack or they offered to take my things as is but I had them take what was already packed. We met at my storage unit which on this day was surprisingly packed with people and other moving companies moving in. Demetrius and Demetrio engaged with the other movers and all were respectful to them during our move. Demetrius and Demetrio packed my unit as requested and they packed and stacked EVERYTHING SO VERY NEATLY and with care for my items. EVERYTHING was totally organized! The price value to book my last minute move was very good for me and I tipped them both as EVERYONE should do with professional movers such as these two. When I returned back to the house, it wasn't until the packed items had been moved that I realized how much MORE packing I still needed to do, so I text Sarah to schedule a FINAL move for 2 days later and I specifically requested Demetrius and Demetrio (The Double D's). Even on such short notice, Sarah made it happen and scheduled me. Again, Demetrius and Demetrio showed up on time even during a rain storm with high winds...ready to work and help me move all my things out. Again, they both setup my items in the house to move quickly during this rain storm and by the time they finished setup, the storm stopped and they moved everything out. Two guys showed up with a huge truck; took about 2 hours to load and drove the 60+ miles to my new home. I explained that I would have to leave before they finished, so I could drive back to Dearborn in the daylight (eyesight issues). That's when it all fell apart. I went back the next day to find plastic wrap strewn around the house, leaves all over the inside of the house, items left wrapped, a dirty bathroom and smoke smell. I contacted Fordson, and was told a slew of lies the worker told him; He said I told them not to enter the garage, FALSE. He said he couldn't find anywhere to dispose of the plastic wrap - THERE WAS A GARBAGE CAN IN THE DRIVEWAY NEXT TO THEIR TRUCK, I was told they aren't responsible for cleaning up after the job. I told Fordson I felt taken advantage of, being alone and older, and that his employee was lying. They made no accommodation and essentially blew me off once they were paid. My Advise: WATCH THEM EVERY MINUTE and make sure a man is around. They will lie and cheat and take advantage of a single woman. BEWARE.

Absolutely the worst experience moving ever! Everything seemed great until they showed up. We had…read morephone calls, texts and even a walk through where John even took notes. We felt confident. Boy were we wrong! $15k down the drain. Everything became a complaint or an argument. We had picked them specifically because they said they would build a crate for the lathe and charged another $1000 to do it. On the day John argued he would not move it and had never agreed to. Much less build a crate for it. I ended up providing makeshift materials and show them how to safely move it. When it got here things were bent and broken. While getting boxes in the truck two of them kept pushing each other around like two little kids. They eventually dropped a bed frame on the hardwood floor and then one pretended to be hurt. We saw it. It never touched him but he screamed it broke his foot and was bleeding. Yet somehow he had no issues moving boxes. The same two guys kept pushing each other around until finally one was thrown right where a snow plow was being moved. The plow flipped over and narrowly missed his foot! I turned white. The truck they brought was not big enough. They had to go and offload it and return. That took them 4 hours. We had to walk behind them around the house because they would constantly not grab all the boxes from rooms but close the door and say it was all done. Always an argument ensued. Things like yard equipment, glass and awkwardly shaped things were taken separately on the truck. When these guys arrived they had two trucks and just 3 people. As they opened the truck I saw one of my generators sitting upside down! The lathe was loosely strapped to the side of the truck sitting on the same material I provided. Things on it were bent and broken from bouncing around. All the yard equipment and awkwardly shaped items were just stuck in tall garment boxes. Trim pieces from my truck I had just painted were scratched and rubbed through. Ruined. Boxes were crushed. The guy with the "broken foot" kept limping around. John hardly did anything. Boxes were placed any which way pretty much anywhere. We had to insist and argue for boxes to be taken where they belonged. Things that went into storage were just chucked in and boxes placed right at the entrance. It was a mess. We gave up on having the furniture put back together as we just wanted them to leave.

I just moved again and was able to unpack my things......crushed storage boxes, soo many broken items I can't even count, damaged furniture AND my very expensive commercial sized treadmill is broken. The day of the move I watched the bathroom idiot try to pick up the console by himself and as I was beginning to say, "don't....." - he dropped it upside down on my concrete drive. I was hopeful that since it was wrapped in foam and moving blankets it would be safe - but I should have known better. When I called the owner he started swearing at me and insisting everything was my fault and his men told him I was "difficult". Don't trust this man/company with your possessions! The clowns he hires to do the moving are unprofessional, rude, lazy and don't give a poo about how they treat your items.
