VERY EXPENSIVE. Although the guy who came was very nice. I don't think it resolved anything after spending more than $650. There was a mouse inspection which was almost $300, which we already knew because another company did it for free. And we had a hornet problem in our yard which was not fixed. read more

I'm beyond pleased with the communication and service with Top Notch! One of my tenants called me about seeing a Water Bug twice in one week. It's hot and rainy in NYC but Water Bugs are so unpleasant to look at and maybe there was a problem right. Larry and Mario are fantastic! When I had a nasty mouse infestation problem, Larry was very empathetic and jumped right on the problem! He scheduled a technician, Mario, to assess and begin steps to eradicate the problem. Mario was thorough, helpful, kind and very informative. I found Top Notch on Google search result and they were the most responsive, professional & friendly. We had a problem with conventional ants in a new property we purchased in Brooklyn. Kareem came over on top and even swung by later to get an additional area I identified for no extra charge. He's been doing this for a long time so he knows what he is doing. I came back to my apartment after being away to discover that my home had roaches. I saw several of them, but like many of us, three is more than enough. My management company was not on the ball and couldn't get an exterminator out here as quickly as I needed. So I turned to the internet and discovered all the positive reviews of Top Notch Pest Control on Yelp, so I reached out and was able to secure an appointment in no time. Let me tell you - all pest control techs are not created equal - there are some who are just meh (like the one my management eventually sent that only performed a two minute treatment) and then there are those like Akel. Akel went above and beyond the call of duty and spent a good 20 miinutes in the apartment. He did a world tour of extermination: in the kitchen - he exterminated behind the refrigerator and the stove, underneath the sink, and inside the drawers and cabinets, in the livingroom he applied gel on furniture legs, and the underside of my buffet, and in the bathroom - under the sink and behind the toilet Akel came into the apartment like a superhero ready to eliminate the roaches. This was his second visit. The fee includes (2) visits within a 30 day time period. Hopefully there will be no more roaches in my home after Akel's second visit. I highly recommend him. read more

I highly recommend Top Notch from the first call to the service at my apartment. I moved into an apartment infested with about 3 different types of roaches. Larry was so helpful over the phone as I explained my out of control roach situation that the buildings extermination group was not handling. The appointment was booked within a couple days. Mario was equally patient, thorough, and respectful as he explained how Top Notch's approach would be different than what had been done thus far. I hired Top Notch Pest Control for my American roach problem because I felt like the exterminator my landlord hired wasn't treating the problem effectively. I think this was a good call and that Top Notch was much better. My technician Akel used two different treatments that seemed specifically tailored to American roaches and also sealed gaps where they could get in. This is my second consecutive year using Top Notch Pest Control. Last year our (early 20th century) home experienced both a carpenter ant infestation and some nasty cockroaches finding their way in via sewage system. Mario and Ryan paid two visits to our location and ensured the rest of the summer and fall wouldn't be ruined by insects. This year, a regular ant infestation started as the warm weather trickled in. The owner quickly penciled me in for an assessment, within 2-3 days of the calls. Austin stopped by, on the dot, as promised. He was friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable on the matters at hand, which he openly shared with my wife and I. Within 2 days, the ants were nowhere to be seen. I recently moved into a new apartment and unfortunately faced the shock of rat droppings and a few roaches. I searched for an accredited exterminator and contacted top notch pest control and they sent out the best exterminator Akel. They explained the process to me and I was given two appointments; the first appointment to get rid of the issue and the second appointment 3 weeks later for a follow up to make sure the issue was resolved. Akel came over promptly, on time and did a wonderful job. He truly eased my nerves. Akel is so personable and knowledgeable, he answered every question I had. I was terrified of seeing a rat or a roach and he did everything he could do ease my fears and he was so confident in his ability to get rid of the pests. I live in a ground level/basement apartment where the houses are attached and over populated, and unfortunately pests are inevitable. Akel came all the way over from Brooklyn to see me in queens where he sealed every hole, sprayed insecticide, and laid down roach bait and traps. Thankfully, after Akel's treatment I never saw a rat and only saw 2 roaches a couple weeks later. So I contacted top notch pest control for a follow up and requested Akel again. As expected, Akel showed up promptly and consistently provided me with the same great service he did prior. Once again he was very thorough.
