When I tried to contact them to cancel the camp within their cancellation period, the phone only rang and did not go to a voice mail. After a couple more attempts I e-mailed them and finally received acknowledgement that they would cancel her camp and issue a refund. After months of trying to contact with them asking for an update on my refund, I was only given excuses and was constantly told that the person responsible for issuing the refund was always busy and could not talk at that time. This place is a scam and I would never trust the care of my child to them.

MSSA is owned and operated by Laurie Morgan. When I first stopped by to talk to her, she was very open to what we wanted to do and gave suggestions on what art projects she could do with the kids. I liked her "can do" upbeat attitude from the start. Laurie's birthday parties can go up to 15 children and we ended up with seven (including my son). She charges a mere $10 per child (you pay at least for an eight child minimum). You provide all the food and paper products. She leads the kids through the project/games/etc and does all the cleanup. Considering how much we paid for a party last year at a "bouncy house" place, this was an absolute steal. Our son's theme was Angry Birds. Laurie had the boys paint little birdhouses first, then make little puffball Angry Birds to go in them. I have to give her credit, she was incredibly patient with seven very energetic little boys. After the project/snacks/cake, she rounded them up for balloon games in the hall to work off the sugar high. They loved it, of course. Laurie will be holding summer art camps over the summer and I've already signed my son up for a week. He loved his Angry Birds party and can't wait to go back for camp. She also has art classes for adults and older kids throughout the week, and some Mommy and Me classes for the little ones.

I quickly learned after being on team for two years that this gym is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. The thousands of dollars we paid for meet fees weren't fully used to pay meet fees, its was kept by Southern. After realizing what has been going on behind the scenes and the addiction issues the family that owns the gym has, i had to quickly move my kids to another gym, paying a whole new load of fees. Southern charged me for may tution, we left end of April. When reaching out to southern to get my $300 back, they declined. But they have no problem keeping the hundreds of dollars we gave for meet fees that were never even paid for the meets. This gym is extremely unprofessional and is not a safe place for children or your money.

At issue was a song with lyrics that I felt were innapropriate for young children. We asked if they would change the music or refund our money. We were told that the parents liked the popular music and that toddlers couldn't understand the lyrics anyway. I disagree, but very well, I will take my refund and go away. They offered to not charge me for the second month, but refused to give back my money for the first month even though we only attended one class. If you care about the music that your toddlers listen to, please ask ahead of time before you commit to the payment. They do screen the popular music for bad lyrics, but they did not inform me during the free class that popular music was going to be played. The free class had children's music. I am sure my standards are going to be viewed as too strict, but I didn't like the lyrics to "I'm just a girl". I don't think it's healthy to tell little girls who are still forming their precious personalities that they are just girls, and that is all we will let them be. Even worse, I don't want my son growing up with that view of women. If you care about the music your child listens too, be sure to ask about the songs they will play before giving them your money.

I specially love that the pre school steps class they have it where there are group activities and also free play after every group activity. If your kid doesn't want to participate the teacher does not force the kids to participate, you are just free to do as you like. My toddler loves the group activities as well as the free play. I am extremely happy with my decision to join Gymboree. Oh yes and the parents there are soo nice too. I def recommend this location.

I went to the Noon Year's Eve event they held yesterday and had a blast! I brought my younger…read moresiblings and we were unsure how many people would be there but it was a great turnout. We were there for 4 hours and there was a steady flow of people of all ages the whole time. The staff is very friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. There was also a DJ that got there around 5 and he was great too! He was willing to play songs that we suggested even though he had his own mix to play. They also played tag a few times and a couple of employees hopped into the game too, it was great! The staff were also very interactive with the kids. While skating, I noticed that it looked like a piece of the skate was missing and when showing it to an employee he immediately had me take them off and provided me with a new pair--no questions asked. The facility was clean and well organized, it included a skate rink, arcade, jungle gym, food, and laser tag-- I will definitely return. Just a heads up, you have to pay admission and show rental separately, but they have a lot of events and deals. For me and my siblings, it totaled to about $44.

I swam for Swim Atlanta all the way thru high school so I was partial to having my daughter swim…read morethere. She loves to swim and has had fantastic coaches during summer league. The people who work in the office at swim Atlanta Hamilton mill are as nice as can be. I was absolutely stunned at the bad attitude that one of the swim coaches had. Her name is Patricia. She made it obvious that she was mad that my daughter started her class after they had already had 2 classes. She couldn't get over that the front office didn't have her name on her list of kids for her class. She was looking at the paper and throwing it down, pacing, her hand gestures obviously showed frustration ( even while talking to my 9 yr old daughter). She singled my daughter out and made her feel unwanted. She was so grumpy and agitated, no patience. My daughter wasn't even able to finish practice bc she made her feel so bad that she was in tears saying she wanted to leave. Shame on coach Patricia for making a sweet, excited little girl question her love for swimming. Only then, when she saw my daughter crying and Us go in the office did she come in say come on Addie you were doing good, what's wrong? I couldn't believe she had the audacity to come say a single word to my daughter while she was crying bc of her actions!! This lady will single handedly make them lose business no doubt about it. She should NOT be working with children AT ALL!!
