They said they provide estimates only on the day of service, once the car is on-site. WHAT? I can tell you what my car is, and exactly what I need, but you can't provide an estimate in advance? Ridiculous. I wasted an hour of my time and a gallon of gas on this wild goose chase. Save yourself the time and frustration and go somewhere else.

Nick is that mythical creature that most of us only hear about in fairy tales: The honest mechanic. If he bills you for two hours of labor, he did at least two. If you want to save some money, he'll try to make it happen with a reconditioned part or some other tactic. If he can't fix it, he'll refer you to someone else. Oh, and if you normally go to a quick-stop lube place for an oil change, do your car a favor and have Nick give it a full and proper oil change, complete with lubing just about every moving part on the car as he gives it a once-over. A little extra goes a long way. You won't find espresso machines or flatscreens here, and Nick can be a bit cantankerous sometimes. It's a gritty, old-fashioned shop, but it's run by guys with actual ethics.

A friend noticed a long crack on it one day which surprised me so I needed to get it fixed. I called C Auto Glass a day before to inquire about their windshield repair services. The young woman on the phone explained the service and told me what days/times were available for an appointment. I scheduled an appointment right then on the phone. I was able to get an appointment for the very next day, on Friday, January 17th. Upon arriving, I was greeted by the front desk receptionist. My car was then taken in to be repaired. I waited in the small waiting room while my car was being worked on. I waited for about 2 hours until my car was ready. I was able to work on my laptop while I waited because they have wifi. They also did a recalibration (just over $200) which is readjusting the car safety system and sensors in the front of the car where the camera is. They used a software to do this and per my receipt, the process takes under 10 mins. After my windshield was replaced (about $300), I was told to leave the adhesive (sticker) on for 24 hours. This allows the adhesive to properly bond or stick with the glass. I was also told not to wash my car for 5 days afterwards to prevent harm to the glass. This may mean that they used a less durable glass but perhaps that is standard procedure. Service was efficient and friendly. It's early February 2025 now and my car windshield still looks great. This female wasn't there in the old days and she may have the worst customer service skills I've ever seen. I literally almost went back In after dropping off my keys and saying "nevermind, I'll go elsewhere" and I should have. All it I had was a basic 36000 mile tune up, no mechanical "issues". First I get a call it wouldn't be done until the next day because the hours are cut way back. So that's fine, luckily I had the day off. I did need new brakes on the back so I did that too. I pick it up, way more expensive than I expected but I was pot committed. The ride home I hear noise, have to turn around and drive back and have the brakes adjusted because they're rubbing, inconvenient to say the least. They adjust it and off I go and somehow since the "tune up" it just rides worse than when I took it in, can't put my finger on it, just not a good ride and it's only 4 year old vehicle. I'd say with the hours open (not good),the price (not impressive), the hassle and running of the vehicle (very disappointing) and the lady's customer service (horrendous) this is just another mechanic.
