It was his first grooming experience, so I wasn't sure what to expect from him. She was so patient with him/us! She sat in grass for about 20 minutes while she let me dog warm up to her. She let me be in the truck with her to make my dog feel more comfortable. She was extremely patient and gentle with him. She didn't push him to do anything that would make him more anxious. She was a little scared at first being in a new place, but after the water was turned on, she relaxed, and it was so much easier to get her to take a bath. The price is worth it for me, it's a pretty reasonable price, not expensive, since she does not like to take a bath at home. She's terrified of the bathroom, and as soon as you put her in the tub, it's like wrestling in a kiddie pool. Lol. She's not afraid of water, as she will go swimming in the water, and play in puddles, but the bath tub, whether it is a shower, or tub full of standing water, she does not like it, so this place will become a regular stop for us. It will help me be able to actually take her a bath, instead of both of us getting soaked, and helps on me not bending over fighting in the tub, so my back, and knees don't hurt either. There is a good selection of shampoos and conditioners to choose from, and a nice warm fluffy towel for drying off. We will be back on a regular basis to keep her nice, clean, and fluffy!!!

I've taken my dog Marley to Boom Town before and had a decent experience, but this recent visit was…read moreincredibly disappointing. I originally had an appointment with Kami, which was canceled last minute. I was then booked with Martin at 10:30 AM on August 30th. I arrived on time and clearly described the haircut I wanted for my dog Marley: a teddy bear cut on his head and a 1 or 2 guard on his body. I was told the grooming process typically takes around 4 hours. However, I received a text at 3:24 PM--five hours after drop-off--indicating that Marley's grooming was just beginning. Despite multiple follow-ups, no one was able to clearly explain the delay or the timeline reflected in those texts, which left me to reasonably believe that Marley had been sitting in a cage for hours. This extended wait time was never communicated in advance, and I was not given the option to pick him up earlier. When I returned, it was clear the grooming had been rushed and did not reflect what I had requested. Had I known he'd be sitting in a cage that long, I would've picked him up. The haircut was rushed and poorly executed. His ears were still dirty, his sanitary area untouched, and his coat had long hairs all over. The cut on his face was not what I asked for and cannot be fixed until it grows out. When I raised these concerns, the initial response from the owner acknowledged the groom was not up to Boom Town's standards and offered to redo it. I declined, as I no longer felt comfortable returning after such a stressful experience for Marley. I requested a refund, which was denied. The tone of the conversation shifted dramatically after that, with the owner suddenly defending the groom and suggesting Marley was difficult--despite him having had many successful grooming appointments elsewhere without issue. I asked for a reasonable resolution, not an immediate response, and still received no explanation for why Marley's sanitary area wasn't trimmed, why his ears were filthy, why his breath wasn't refreshed, or why his face was cut so drastically different from the teddy bear style I requested. Marley is groomed every six weeks and previous groomers have confirmed he's never been difficult. It's clear that Martin was unable to communicate effectively and that the service fell short of Boom Town's own standards. Here's what I paid for but did not receive: * No sanitary trim * No breath refresh * No ear cleaning * Incorrect head and face cut I even offered to pay for the body cut, but requested a partial refund for the services that were either skipped or poorly done. I gave Boom Town every opportunity to make this right before resorting to a review or chargeback. Unfortunately, they chose not to take responsibility. I'm sharing this to help other pet owners make informed decisions. Marley was visibly anxious after the appointment, and the quality of service did not reflect the price or the promises made.

The pups absolutely love the staff even though they don't love baths. My senior dog takes the Mobility Support supplement as well and it makes such a huge difference for him. He has old man joint pain and that supplement makes him act like a puppy! It is a night and day difference for him.

Both my dogs have come out of their grooming looking fabulous! But a major shout out to Emily!! Emily is amazing! First time I met her was in the parking lot and she remembered my parent's Sheltie's name, my mom's name. Every time I have gone in to drop off/pick up, Emily greets every human with a "hello (insert name)" and knows ALL the dogs names, their grooming schedule, what would work best for dogs who are new clients. She is amazing! So personable, kind, and caring soul!
