TQI Services insulated our very old cabin this past Summer. Now that Autumn is setting in, and we are having colder nights and mornings, I keep asking myself two questions. Why didn't I do this 13 years ago and how much money did I waste giving it to PGE. TQI blew insulation from the outside by drilling holes in the exterior. Our hallway and guest bathroom was very dark. Our realtor suggested solar tubes. She referred us to Top Quality. Bob gave us an estimate for two solar tubes. As much as I love doing everything myself and not having to depend on others, I knew it would be too much to try and install a motorized door opener on the very large roll-up door on the shop building by myself. Sent an email to Top Quality and got a quote a little over a month ago. Then, just recently, gathered the funds necessary and asked for the opener and installation. Sent another email and got on the schedule. On the day of my appointment- Two guys showed up and got right to work. They were friendly and careful. The installation was unusual for them, and it was apparently the first time doing an installation on the unusual commercial door I have. Wisely, they broke out the instructions and came up with a game plan fairly quickly. The owner (Bob) showed up shortly after they got started and assisted with the installation since one guy (Mike) had a bandaged hand. Despite the handicap, that guy worked his butt off and never complained about it once. Next thing you know, the opener was installed and programmed, then tested. They handed me the remotes, thanked me for the business and they were off. No muss, no fuss. Super nice guys. The opener works great! No more pulling chains or walking around the large metal building in the pouring rain to go in the back door to open the roll-up door. Oh, so nice. Top Quality was easy to work with, and very eager to help. The installers were really on their game and paid attention to the building and the contents to make sure nothing was damaged or harmed. I recently purchased and had a gas insert installed in my fireplace from Top Quality. The installers were young boys, very qualified and polite. They took extra precaution to protect my floor and rug from damage. They came one day and removed the old wood burning insert and helped the buyer load it on his trailer. (It was old and extremely heavy) They were very polite and courteous to the buyer. It was a pleasure to see young men being so helpful and caring. After I had the gas line installed they were back to install the new gas insert. Same way, they were very careful not to damage anything and picked up all packaging products and took it away. Last Friday, my garage door was only opening 5 inches and we were expecting a boat load of people for the weekend. I called Top Quality during lunch and they returned the call promptly at 1pm. I told the manager of my predicament and he asked if Monday would be ok as his crew was on a really tough job and it was Friday. When I told him I really needed it done that day, he said he'd have his team there as soon as they finished their other job. They made it by 4:45 and finished replacing mail door coil at 5:30.
