We recently hired Top Rank Electric to replace all 47 recessed lights throughout our home, and I can't recommend this company highly enough. From the beginning, Adis was incredibly responsive, punctual, professional, and very reasonably priced. He communicated with us throughout the entire project, explaining what he was doing and keeping us informed every step of the way. We initially thought we only needed a straightforward light replacement, but it turned out that the previous recessed lights were installed in old-style cans, and many had actually been glued and nailed into the ceiling, making removal extremely difficult. There were also some lighting issues when we bought the house due to the wiring throughout the house, which was a bit of a mess. We had a different (ALSO LICENSED and well-rated) electrician come over before for a different installation and he couldn't figure out the wiring/lighting issue! Instead of taking shortcuts or just giving up (like the other one, who was also nice and professional, did), Adis carefully corrected everything the right way. In a few areas, removing the old recessed lights caused some paint to come away with them, but he took the time to patch and clean each opening so every new light fit perfectly--tight, flush, and professionally finished. His attention to detail was incredible, and the final result was immaculate. He also installed a new outlet in our garage exactly the way we wanted it. When he finished, he cleaned up thoroughly, leaving the house spotless. It's rare to find someone who is this skilled, honest, communicative, and meticulous. You can tell he genuinely takes pride in his work and wants the finished product to be perfect. I'm glad to have found an electrician I feel that I can trust for any future issues, as Adis is sincere, honest, and hardworking. When I put in the request through Yelp, he was the only one to tell me that he could come right away (which made me wonder why he was so available, but I saw that he had many positive reviews, so I went with it, and I'm glad I did). He arrived almost exactly 30 minutes from our call, which is what he said would be the travel time for him. While doing his work, I asked if I could watch and learn, and he explained everything as he was going about the diagnosis and fixes. What I thought would be a somewhat pricey repair job turned out to be a few easy fixes, and he stuck to his original quote of a basic diagnosis, which I found to be a good price for his expertise. I requested a quote for a project for a job to replace an existing light switch; Top Rank Electric came back with a quote within 30 minutes and was available the next morning. I feel compelled to yet provide another review for Adis. Last time he came it was on an emergency basis at night to fix electrical issues. He came AGAIN on his day OFF to diagnose and fix other electrical issues that I had. Long story short, my contractor removed some old wiring which blew circuits, and then tried to fix by replacing all the electrical outlets for a room (which didn't fix it), so I knew i had to call Adis. Had two recessed 4-flurescent tube lighting fixtures in a bathroom that were down to two working tubes over time, and then those stopped working too. Adis suggested that it would be cheaper, better and faster to retrofit the fixtures to LED tubes, rather than replacing the ballasts which were the problem. He was able to come out the same day, arrived on time, and had the job done in a little over an hour. He worked efficiently and carefully, didn't make a mess, and cleaned up.
