I recently moved into the neighborhood and was looking for a new nail shop. I found this shop and loved the work they did. The prices are really good. I will ve going back.

They have fans to dry your toes because the fans at the drying station doesn't work. Look at how old the drying station is.

I also blacked out pics of people. Please see my original review below with a couple edited words. Honestly I almost walked out of this place as soon as I walked in. But there were so many people getting services done that I wanted to see why people pay their money for spa like treatment in a rundown facility. We are supporting this business as if its top notch. The service was good but the facility needs to be updated. They are making way too much money to have a below standard facility and nail polish that needs to be thrown out...the polish is separating for goodness sake. I will never come back here and I still don't know why people are settling.

There was a bit of a wait BUT this place is packed and popular. They move like a factory. I waited about 25 minutes for a pedicure on a Saturday morning. Then soaked my nails for bout 15 minutes then got a fussy by Q. Beautifully done and quick. I visit Chicago multiple times a year and will make sure to come to top nail spa!

My mom suggested I go here since our usual nail tech moved. I thought the tech did a very good job. Very good attention to detail. I got exactly what I asked for. Prices were reasonable. My only critique is that the staff could be a bit more pleasant. Otherwise, very satisfied.

I ALWAYS get my nails done, so I went here and got a fill in with a pedicure. First of all the man was rude and he rushed my nails. I paid $55 in total and I feel that if I'm giving you that much money then you should not rush on my nails. So after a week and half I went to another place to get a fill in. I went early because I wanted my nails to be fresh for my birthday. The man took the gel polish off and i noticed my nails had like a green fungus on it. Now this is not the first time this has occurred at this nail shop. They are not clean. My sister had this same issue with them

i came here because the nail shop i go to was packed and they were not. i believe andy did my nails and he did amazing. there's an apex which is important and he did the best he could on the design. price was eh $65 which is the most ive ever spent at a nail shop but my nails are cute. my results vs the inspo picture.

First time ever walking into top spa nails, they greeted me immediately and asked me what kind of service I wanted!! I showed them a picture of what I wanted &they had no hesitation of doing it. My girl Q knew exactly what to do. I will be coming back from now on, I'm so pleased!!

The moment we walked in, they were kicking us out. After some talk they let us in. It was me and my sister. We both got different people to work on our nails. My mother had left to shop right next door, and they kept pressuring us to call our mom when they weren't even done.By the time we were done, my nails looked nothing like the INSPO picture I showed the technician. In their defense, I did ask for gold instead of silver. But that's only the color, not the style. They were all rushing to leave and rushed with our nails. They left glue residue on my cuticles. 1/5. Place is small and always crowded but the service for mani and pedi are not bad. But the best part is they do eyebrow tinting and the best is Lele for me but a lot of people prefer Hannah, however you may be waiting hours for Hannah . Also , a lot of the women get their eyelashes done there as well but I haven't tried it yet but from what I've seen they do a good job and are fast . read more

I walked up there at 9:45 , 15 minutes after they opened & it was packed out the door . I waited 30 minutes to get in the chair then had to wait another 15 for her to do my feet . When I say she rushed my feet . She overrrrrr rushed . My white no chip polish was so messy . I left very unsatisfied. I paid $43 so I went home & cried but called to let them know he told me come back up there . I went back there & she fixed it but she was very rough with me & she wiped extra polish on me but she scratched it off with her nail instead of getting something to take it off with . When I asked for a manger she wanted to fix but she had a attitude so she was angry fixing my feet . I RATE IT A 0/10 I 100 DONT RECOMMEND. & I WOULD GIVE IT HALF OF STAR IF I COULD BUT BABY NO.! read more

I have been an on/off customer for years with this particular nail salon. However, today will be my last time ever coming for any service. Hannah is unprofessional and a coward to say the least. She clearly can't handle when a customer is dissatisfied with her service. I requested a specific nail design on an almond shaped nail... she did not do the service anywhere close to what I requested... so, I asked her to remove it. I also paid for the service. As a result, I'm banned from any future services. It is what it is. I'll definitely go to another nail shop. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would. I'm currently 6 months pregnant. Let me tell you why this man got angry and rubbed a towel on my feet really hard when my feet were dry and then he smacked my feet. The man that was doing my toes don't even speak English! I noticed he did not cut my toenails down I asked him to stop take the polish off and give me a cut down. He then turned to the other man and said something to the man the other man said he said you didn't want a cut down. I said I definitely did I don't want my toes different lengths. read more

A guy was really rough on my toes, gave me a slight cut on my big rough when he was drilling. When he sprayed alcohol on it, it burned so bad. He was rushing and they did my brothers toes in order 10 min and he got a full pedicure. Don't recommend, they're really unorganized. read more

I came in to get an acrylic full set with no chip nail polish and the price was $40 which is very good considering how great they came out. They're very friendly and have very reasonable prices for brows and lashes as well. read more

I like the shop because the service is quick. The nails break easy because they want you back before the two week fill in. I waste a lot of money going back for repairs. I'm in search for nice designer nails that last more than a day. read more

Went to this salon today to get a nail fill by a tech named Adam. Once he removed my polish I notice I had a dark color (the start of fungus)under my nail when I asked him what was that he replied "it's when you don't wash your hands when you eat and the food stains the nail" I said excuse you....that's rude to tell someone they don't wash their hands - in fact since I have been here waiting none of you (nail techs) have washed your hands after finishing manicures, pedicures, eyebrows and the handling of money - so who really is spreading germs and fungus. Then the techs started talking in their native tongue. Unbelievable - Needless to say - I will NEVER be returning to this unsanitary & unprofessional place. read more

This place used to be great when Alex owned the place. Unfortunately Alex took all his staff with him when he left with the exception of Donnie. Donnie is the only one in there can do my nails correctly! But he's always so busy with two and three people waiting in line when I get there no matter what time of the day it is. The new owner he seems to have a bad attitude all the time and after two times of not getting my nails right I will not be going back! It's a shame too it's really hard to find a good nail tech. read more

I always come here to get my nails done and they do a great job but i had to come back because the color in my No Chip polish came off, it wasn't dry all the way. So after Micheal put the color on my one nail i noticed it was the WRONG shade of Orange. I brought it to his attention that the polish i had was "Pumpkin Spice" and he cut me off immediately and said you have to wait a few days for the color to set and that they didn't have such color. Even though i got my nails done yesterday on My Birthday and when i left the color wasn't what he had put on my nails. I had to ask almost everyone in the shop their opinions and they could even see that the polish was way darker then the rest of my nails. After almost 15mins someone wanted to help me and found the "Pumpkin Spice." I don't know what's wrong with Micheal but he needs to be talked to about how he treats his customers! That's completely UNACCEPTABLE for him to cut me off like i'm stupid! I knew what i was talking about and i would like to be treated as such!!!!! He had horrible customer service!!!! read more

I went to Top Spa nails on 6-15-18. They where great very clean and always accommodating with a smile and fast but quality work ! The young lady that did my pedicure her name was Than and she was really nice. It was packed and it is a small salon but I have never ever had a problem when I come here they use quality polish OPI and they do great gel nails and pedicures. The owner and his sister do a fabulous job as well! Every tech here know's what they are doing! I would definitely be back throughout the summer for my pedicures! read more

I went there for convience, but I'll go the extra mile instead of going there, because my experience SUCKED! Also, I should've learned from my last experience because the same lady's service before. Shame on me.

I came in today. I need to address a concern. The technician who worked on me did a very messy job,…read morebut more importantly, the experience was uncomfortable and not professional. When I tried to explain my concerns, she turned her back on me and didn't listen. She also said something to her coworker in another language while I was speaking, which felt dismissive. A nail salon visit is supposed to be relaxing, but instead, I felt rushed and physically uncomfortable -- my hands and feet were pulled at the same time, and it wasn't done with care. Salons do your nails at a table, she does your nails at the foot bath on the side, very unprofessional.

I walked in and was not greeted. I said hello and that I was there for a gel pedicure. Mind you…read morethere was only one customer getting nails done and owner I would assume who just stared at me like I was from Mars. She replied pick a color. I told her the color I wanted. To make things worse my feet where already in the water. When the owner took out all dirty and used nail clippers, nail file, foot pumice out of a drawer next to her. Before she could start I said oh no I would like for you to get all new things to do my pedicure with. She just jumped up and went behind the counter and got a packet. This makes me wonder why the gel pedicure was only $45! She had the nerve to have an attitude when she wanted to use tools she used on who's knows how many other people's feet on mine! I only came here because my nail was closed in Lansing. The shop was clean new nail chairs however dirty tools. Of course you know after all of that she wanted me to leave as quick as I came! There is no reason what so you should use dirty old and used nail tools on customers. Unfortunately we as black people are patronizing these nail salons and you think we will accept anything. I paid but didn't give her a tip! Horrible customer service and a nasty attitude from the time I walked in. I will never come back here.
