I love the customer service & Valerie is an absolute sweetheart. She's very attentive & pays attention to detail. She's very gentle & never make you feel rushed. I actually came late in the evening after work & Mindy suggested l come back so that l wouldn't be rushed with my pedicure. read more

Majority of the staff is very friendly and paying is made very convenient. The place is understaffed however. They could also use a little help with some updates and clean furniture/ equipment. The pricing they have listed is not what they are charging. Overpriced. The tech who did my pedicure was very rough and seemed to be less experienced, but my pedicure turned out very nice. On the other hand my sister's full set and pedicure were hideous and rushed. The towels were dirty and stained and the place was very cold. I love this place. As a male I was a bit nervous coming in to a nail shop because that's more for women when you're masculine. No offense to Asian nail techs but its always hard to speak with them because of the language barrier. The owner Mindy english is 100% clear and she's super nice. I usually go here. Today was my last day after 2 years. I went to get a pedicure and full set and soak off my last set that was on for a month. They were almost unable to take them off! I asked for a soak off they went into digging my old acrylics off which injured my finger. At which, i stopped the service and insisted they soak off the rest with acetone to which they did ... then I paid for my pedicure and left. In the 20 years of wearing acrylics on and off i've never gone through this. Whether nail shops or private nail techs at home i've never struggled to remove acrylics to the point of pain and bleeding. I'm done with Mindy and any other nail shop along River Oaks Drive because the ones in the mall are just as bad. read more

Maybe I got the worst tech for a mani pedi. Two hours thirty minutes and $55.00 cost my nails to break, split and ache after their method of no chip nail service. The soaking in boiling acetone in a metal dish was unconventional to say the least. I understand removing the no chip product with a chemical, but you should not be subjected to it boiling. Just use the aluminum foil and cotton method. I've lost three nails which became soft after the constant sanding off the material the acetone didn't remove. In addition, my edges are jagged and catch my stockings and other materials. My service was Wednesday and Thursday was the beginning of my manipedi demise. Just sharing my experience. read more

I had a great experience when I went to this salon last Friday until my no chip manicure chipped two days later. Usually I prefer that one tech service me, but I was so pressed for time I let one person complete my pedicure which was great. The guy took his time and was meticulous. However, a different person did manicure. I'm not sure what the reason was, other then another customer arriving right at closing. After paying $52 for two services I did not expect this to happen. Unfortunately my work schedule does not allow me to go back to complain. I called a few times but of course no answer. This is why I'm reluctant to try new shops, but I was referred by a friend and wanted to support local business in my neighborhood. So much for that. read more

Hello, my fellow Yelpers. This is my first contribution to Yelp. First, this salon is great ! I came here three times and every time the service gets better. I am not really into trying new salons because I have been going to the same salon for years, but this one is a great substitute for me. I love their decor, people, and service. They do not rush and they even are great with the eyebrows(I've received many compliments)! Their prices are fair, but the best part is they ALWAYS ask what you want and do exactly what you asked them to do. They did a really great job. I got a pedicure and a full set. I like my pedicure the best as I am not really into false nails but I thought I needed a change. Ist and last time going to mindy nails, i went their on 12/04/2015.got my nails done use my Credit card,my bank alert my phone like it always does when i use my card. could not look at my phone due getting my nails done.once i got a chance to look at my phone after i left the amount taken was $24.00!!! and that is not what i authorize.now i gave him $3 tip,now when i call and spoke with mindy all she could say to really a $1...thats what made me mad thats stealing if i didn't authorize you too take it.i dont care if it was 50cents thats stealing she not one time apologize.so when i call my bank they said to me it was $24 taken out not $23 i will not be returning their i wonder how many people they have done this too and have gotten away with it.... read more

I've been going to Mindy's since 2007 or 2008 and they continue to deliver. I like that they are always willing to try new products and designs. Most of the other nail salons in the area don't support creativity the way this shop does. read more

Worst nail shop ever dont sanitize equipments such a rush job and keep making me bleed on toes and hands.

This is the worse and best place. Pro's -they do nails -great pedicures -up to date colors -gel -ok prices Con's -doesn't make appointment -there best nail techs are always booked -long waits -customer service is below standards So I have been going here for some time. I needed a new spot and I found them. However I am very anal about who touches my feet (henry, tina) and I'm even more anal about who does my hands. I have natural nails with overlay. I always request Simon. Apparently Simon is well known because he does the best work. Anyway it doesn't matter when I go Simon is always 2-3 hour wait. Instead of having him set up on appointments it's first come first serve bases.thats not good I mean. I was a regular customer at this nail salon, however it became apparent that the more frequent you come the less they care about customer service! The owner is extremely rude! I have had several situations where I was dissatisfied with my nails and also the customer service.
