I've been going here for a few years because I don't know where else to go by my house to get nails and feet done. They are so racist towards minorities, they're only nice to white women, I've always watched how friendly and kind they speak to them and greet them but when I come they act as though I don't belong there. Some of the workers are nice, there's two nail ladies that are so rude and mean. One lady yesterday by the name of Shirley was so rude and gave me such horrible service, she cut skin off two of my fingers and didn't even say sorry or care, both you could see the cuts it was red and bleeding light, she was rushing after she insisted I do a full set because my set I already had was "old", she wanted to even rip the acrylic off my nails, I demanded to be soaked instead, she was upset about that, I asked her please be careful she was hurting me even before she cut side of my fingers with the nail drill she had the nail drill so high that it was burning my nail beds, I screamed a few times "ouch" she still continued with no regards she was hurting me, she was so rude and nasty. I asked her please don't layer the gel polish thick as she was rushing through that as well she then told me "don't come back to me again, don't ask for me to ever do your nails again" I said I wouldn't and would never come back to her, I allowed her to finish the service / polishing because I have a flight to catch for a vacation, ny nails feel sore, my skin on side of cuticles are cut and burn when I put my hands in water, they still made me pay and never apologized, I held my composure and I walked out feeling sad because I always pay and give tips and I didn't feel happy about the way I was treated or handled, I would never allow that lady Shirley to ever touch my nails ever again, I can't believe how nasty she was and how she kept cutting and burning me with drill and had no compassion or regards, I didn't curse it yell at her for doing it because I told myself maybe it's a mistake and mistakes happen but absolutely not she didn't give a F and could care less, she wanted me out and she made it clear. Very hurtful and disappointing. I even had to come home and file my nails straight and on the sides because the gel polish was messy and lumpy. I do not suggest this nail salon to anyone especially women of color. read more

Was even offered a courtesy membership and already have accumulated credit towards my next service. The establishment was clean. They use the tub liners and sterilized equipment. This was my first time to Too Style Nails Spa, and luckily it was a great experience. The place is ample and has many manicure tables and pedicure beds. I had the please of having Joyce do my manicure and pedicure. Joyce was friendly and did a nice job. I really appreciated that they cover the pedicure bed with a plastic, every pedicure. All the other equipment used was open in front of me and looked cleaned. At the end I received a short back massage which added to my experience. I then received a free rewards card that gives 6% cash back if you pay in cash and 2% cash back if you pay by CC. It was the most pleasant manicure and pedicure I have received in a long time. First I need to give a little PSA: the only reason this place might have a few positive reviews is because the salon incentivized them with the offer of a free bottle of lotion. The manicurists did a horrible job on not only me, but my mom and 2 sisters' nails. 3/4 of us were nicked to bleeding when they were doing our cuticles. The colors on the nail swatches are obviously very old and faded, because all of our nails came out a different color than was on the swatch nail. I hate leaving bad reviews but Tiffany is the worst I've had and I've been getting my Nails done for about 13 years . Came in for a gel dip manicure and left with regret. My technician was very nice. However, my manicure looks like crap. Not shiny, too thick, and looks grainy. I'm actually going to stop by my regular nail salon and get a regular gel manicure done. Giving it 2 stars because my technician was sweet & they had chocolate by the door, and lots of color options. I really had a terrible experience today . This is my second time at this place and my first time was fine as I did not hav my pedicure. Today I had pedicure and the lady who was doing it had done a terrible job and peeled my skin. I am not sure if they are trained or not. She was using the same instrument on the top of my skin which she was using to scrub the hard bottom of my good. Been here twice and, unfortunately, my first visit was better than the last. The location itself is new, spacious and clean. It's brightly lit and the pedicure chairs are comfy. The selection of nail polish colors is extensive. No issues there. My only dissatisfaction is the lack of thoroughness of both pedicures and manicures ($35 for both). First time around, there was no problem, my entire nail covered with polish and it lasted several days. I wasn't as lucky the second time around. There is space between my cuticles and polish, I actually had to remove hangnails myself several hours later, and my polish chipped significantly in only a matter of two or three days. Since I was exhausted from all the holiday shopping and in need of some pampering, I even went as far as to add on a 20 minute foot massage with my pedicure (an extra $15). Don't worry about being cheated out of 20 minutes as they use a timer and break up the 20 minutes into 10 minute halves for each foot. The massage, however, was nothing great. No stones, no special scrub or saran wrapping of the feet. The first few minutes felt good but after a while of the same thing it became uneventful to which I just wished it would end already. Because there are several girls working at one time, when they are busy, it is often difficult to "choose" who you want to be paired with and whether that individual will be a good job. Really big & really clean. Went in for a pedicure. Able to take me right away. There were 14 pedicure massage seats!! That's way more then I've ever seen at a nail salon! It made me think that it would be perfect for a bachelorette party. The polish selection is plentiful too. I saw some of the nail techs offered their customers bottle water. Mine didn't but that's ok. I just thought that's a cute idea. They also have this spray by the dryers to help make the nails dry even quicker. This place is brand new and they are offering a 20% off discount which was great. Regardless though the place is huge and clean. I got a pedicure and didn't feel cramped for space with the woman next to me. The pedicure was the perfect mixture of firm but gentle. They have the spray for drying your manicure just sitting there at the dryers which is so nice. I hate spending a half hour drying my nails. Employees were all very nice and accommodating. I was a walk-in on a week day afternoon around lunchtime and they were able to take me immediately. Highly recommend. read more

I had been to this salon quite a number of times since their grand opening...things have gone significantly down hill. I had found 2 girls I really liked and would make appts with them only to call and find out they don't work there anymore. I had good gel manicures in the beginning and then they started chipping sooner and sooner. Today I brought my 12 year old cousin in with me to get mani's & pedis. The girl who did my little cousins nails was very nice to her and made her comfortable, this is the only reason I left without complaining to the owner. My nails were started significantly after hers (I was patient, it wasn't an issue) but the technician proceeded to rush through all my services in some attempt to "catch up" to the other technician. Our pedicures were finished barely 2 minutes apart when mine was started 15+ minutes after. Then our manicures were the same story. Doing a 30+ yr olds mani and a 12 yr olds in the same amount of time is ridiculous (when I don't even let them cut her cuticles and she has very short nails). The salon was not that busy. The technician finished my nails and sat texting on her cell phone the whole time we were drying our nails. They also have changed their 20% customer loyalty card program. You used to get 20% of your total visit credited on the card to use next time or combined with other visits if you chose to "save up". They now give 2% (yes, TWO!) if you use a credit card and 6% for paying cash...what's the point?!? The 20% used to make up for their higher prices, now that coupled with the constantly declining customer service makes this place a rip off. read more

Completely disgusted. I went in on a Monday night (3/7/16) only because I had just had my wax and needed to get my nails done and saw that it was open. I asked for a French gel manicure. Worst decision I ever made. I almost didn't pay because the job was so terrible and I was pissed off. Waaaaay overpriced! $42!!!! I was fuming! The white tips were so thin and uneven. He basically did the white as a slated line smh and here it is a week later and it is already peeling off. I'm a Clifton Resident, my go to nail salon is AMAZING I usually go to Spa One right across from Allwood Diner in the shopping center. Today I wanted to try Top Style because it's brand new and I wanted to go to some of the shops near by. My experience has been a horrible one. The lady didn't even want to scrub my feet! She refused to actually give me a decent pedicure! She nipped me more than once and instead of putting a little arm work on massaging me and giving me a good pedicure she complained and told me if I wasn't pleased than I should have gotten a spa pedicure!!! Which is insulting!!! They're packages start at 50!! Which is so absurd!! I get pedicures so often and I have to say I'm so disappointed in this place. They even have OPI nail polish for an additional charge of $3 ... I find this place to be a rip off. The people who work here are not nice and you can tell their only priority is in money. I'm sticking with Spa One for now on. They're lovely manicurists who give you the proper pamper and care you're looking for when you walk in. read more

Before today, I would have given this establishment a five star rating. But I'm glad I waited a few months before jumping the gun. This past Sunday, I got a pedicure, and a fill-in with gel polish. I usually opt for colors in the PM brand, but this time I got a color in the OPI brand. By Tuesday, the gel had begun to peel so badly that I had no other choice but to return to the shop to have it fixed. I explain to the guy at the front desk that I was just there on Sunday and the polish had already started to peel off. He asked who polished my nails and they asked me to take a seat until the technician was done. When she was available, I explained that I wanted the same color, just in the PM brand. Think about it: if the brand of polish I just got three days earlier started to peel off, why would I want that same brand?! The guy comes over and he and the technician get into a war of words in their native language. Ultimately, she tells me that I'll have to pay for the change because it's not the same color/brand. I agree to this thinking it would cost a few bucks. Wrong! They tried to charge me $30 dollars JUST for changing the color! When I asked the woman at the front desk why it costs so much she could only tell me it was because I asked have it changed. WHY ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH WOULD I WANT THE SAME FAULTY POLISH?!?! She saw my frustration and decided to only charge me $25. How nice...after I had just given this establishment $83 dollars three days prior! Luckily, I had $42 saved on my rewards card, so I allowed her to charge it to that. I really don't know that I want to continue to give my money to a place that would be that unreasonable. And I'm disheartened because I really liked the salon. But I felt taken advantage of and not like a valued customer. They do a great job on your nails, but they're expensive. I recommend Cindy and Anna as my first preference, but all do a great job if you come in with a right attitude. They work hard and if you don't like this place don't come back . Also they have a 2 week guarantee on their work . Which I have never gotten at any of the nails salons that I have been to in Clifton . I said they should've told me that before I paid extra for the spa pedicure. I would've just put the $5 on the gift card. So I paid with the gift card and then my debit but they told me there was a $10 limit for a card... it isn't posted anywhere and I told them that it's actually against the law to have a minimum and it will go through if they swipe it.
