I have been going to this nail salon for almost a year and have actually always enjoyed the service there. The girls that work there are great it's a nice salon. I got my first set of acrylic tips and nails a few weeks ago. I went this past Sunday to get a fill in and there are apparently only a couple of techs in this salon do acrylic nails. The girl that did my nails was not the person that normally does my gel manicures. The manager/owner assured me that this nail tech was very good. When I sat down I told her that I did not want gel on top of my acrylic because I noticed she had a bottle of gel nail color and she said OK. Then she told me it was going to be $70 for a fill-in and I almost fell out of my chair. I've never paid more than $30-$40 tops. I asked her again are you sure you charge $70 for a regular acrylic nail fill and she said yes. I didn't want to cause a scene so I just sat there and let her do my nails at a premium which is ridiculous. Plus she put gel on my nails after I specifically told her I did not want it. She had quite an attitude with me as well. I really should have requested a refund or gotten up and left but I didn't. So after almost a year of having pleasant experiences I will no longer go to this salon. To have been charged that amount of money for a simple fill in is ludicrous and they should understand that there are nail salons pretty much on every corner that people can choose to go to. Disappointed. I started going here on a regular basis when they first opened but then with Covid I didn't go much. I went back last week and was so disappointed with my pedicure. They used to provide more detailed regular pedicures but now I guess you need to upgrade your pedicure to get anything. This felt like a no frills pedicure. The girls are always nice here. I was just disappointed in the fast pedicure which cost me $30 plus tip. Guess I need to try somewhere new. Sigh. read more

I've been going here on and off for more than six months. Recently noticed my big toenails are looking ingrown, and realized the techs are cutting off the corner of my big toenail (incorrect way). I've tried to give it another chance but it's happened three times, where the tech will snip and cut all around the top. I was never crazy about this place, I've just gone out of convenience. I do like that it's spacious and has plenty of parking, that's pretty much it. The techs are hit or miss (some are too rough and have made me and others I know bleed), and ever since the pandemic the prices have increased and the quality of pedicures have gone down. I went in to have SNS done as the reviews seemed favorable however 9 days later the SNS fell off 4 of my nails. The entire process took about 20-25 mins so maybe it was rushed (this was my 1st time doing SNS) , But for nails that everone else raves will last 2-3 weeks or more i didnt even get a full 2 weeks. I have been around to several nail salons in the area, this place was really clean and festive, everybody was so friendly and able to accommodate me quickly. They were upfront about their prices over the phone which I appreciated. I did not feel rushed and the foot massage was great for just a basic pedicure. Overall I love my manicure. They have a great color selection and everything is brand new, clean, and state of the art. My review falls a little short with the staff. I asked for them to soak my gel tips off and for a gel manicure. It's possible there was miscommunication because they tried to remove my nails like they would gel polish. When they saw that didn't work they tried to get me to keep my tips on and when I declined she said there would be a $15 charge for soak off (in a rude tone mind you) .... well she never actually soaked my nails off just filed them for 20 minutes and my old nails aren't even completely off. I paid for her to half way file the nails and put gel polish over them which annoyed me. And as it got closer to closing time the more she rushed and rushed. I also heard them turning away manicures at 7pm when they are open until 7:30 which I thought was weird business. Will definitely try them again. I literally NEVER leave reviews for any business, especially negative reviews BUT today, I decided to try Elite since they were open on a Sunday unlike a lot of salons in our area. I wanted to give my nails a break from gel, so I just asked them to take my gel polish off and I got a regular manicure with no polish. The girl who did my nails was so nice. She quickly took my gel off, cut, filed and did my cuticles. She put some oil and lotion on my hands and I was done in under 15 minutes, which includes the time that I sat to soak my gel off. They were 3 weeks already and came off relatively quick. When I got to the register, I was charged $20. I questioned the amount because it seemed absurd and the girl said the manicure was $15 (no polish) plus $5 to take off my gel polish. I actually just think that's ridiculous. I can see if I was soaking off tips, acrylic or something time consuming but we're talking about 3 week old gel POLISH that came off in about 3-5 minutes. When you switch gel colors or get a manicure they never charge for the removal of the gel, so why now? I understand inflation and pricing increases in the last year but they literally used ZERO products on me except for lotion and some acetone. Im not cheap but I seriously have a problem when pricing makes no sense whatsoever. read more

This has been my go-to place since they opened. The salon itself is large, open and bright, with plenty of chairs for mani's and pedi's. The owner is kind and friendly, as is the staff. I always get a classic pedicure but they have a variety of different types (green tea, shea butter, etc.). Usually Yuna does my gel manicure, but I've had other techs as well and they all do a great job. The staff is very thorough and they really take their time. I've never felt rushed. Just got a pedicure. Was told I could only get a regular pedicure and not a spa one due to staff availability. Very confused by this considering there was not one other customer in the place and all of the workers were painting each other's nails. The regular pedicure lasted a whole 14 minutes and cost $30! Shout out to Elite Nails in Verona (by Kings) Had an amazing experience Saturday. I wanted to share! I was anxious about getting a pedicure. My mom suggested Elite Nails. I am blown away at how clean and organized the salon is. There is seating outside while you wait for your appointment, when you go in you were greeted by a friendly greeter who takes your temperature, squirts hand sanitizer on your hands, and helps you to pick out your favorite color. You are immediately escorted to your seat, which is socially distant from other seats. They have a tub liner that keeps your feet free from anyone else's foot germs, and the brush they used to scrub your feet is 100% cleaned and the pumice sheets are brand new for you! There is no lingering in the salon at all. You are in and out, nothing is lacking in the experience. They do a wonderful job and I left relaxed and satisfied. I will be back!!! read more

I walked in on a busy Saturday afternoon without an appointment and they were able to take me almost right away. Customer service upon entry was A+. I got a regular pedicure & a gel manicure done. Regular pedicure was decently done. Definitely did the best she could and was very vigilant about not leaving polish on my skin. The massage and cleanup job was relaxing and I thought she did a good job as far are the overall appearance. They tied a bag of hot oil on the heels of my feet as I got my toes done which was GREATLY appreciated and needed. They sat me at the drying station as I waited to get my gel manicure done. I didn't wait long until my manicure. Manicure was good and the conversation was nice too. She made sure the length and shape were ok with me before continuing. Very courteous and it came out great! Today was my 2nd visit. The 1st time was great, different person. After a 2:45 min and a $69 tab I was left with a nail that was buffed too deep & not finished and several other nailbeds that were not filled completely, leaving my nails to look as though they were done 2 weeks ago instead of a fresh Powder application. I LOVE the cleanliness of this nail salon! They use disposable plastic tub liners for your pedicures and even have disposable foot files. All of the tools are sealed in sanitized pouches and every customer gets a sealed pack. I got a regular pedicure and it was ok. The leg massage was almost nonexistent and they didn't do a good job at cleaning up the cuticles. She even left rough patches on the soles of my feet that I never had before! . The gel manicure was also just OK. My nails were filed unevenly and there is a spot on one nail where she missed polish but overall they look nice. They have a special right now so my mani and pedi were way less expensive than other places. All in all, I guess you get what you pay for. I will definitely give it another try with different technicians next time. read more

I was told a gel manicure was $30. I made the appointment and by the time I was done it was $60! I had at least an inch of thick glue on my nail. It lasted two weeks but then started coming up on the sides. It was painful to remove and my nail under is completely ruined until it grows out.
