Ehh...I hover between three and four stars with this Nordstrom Rack. While they have some nice,…read morediscounted prices compared to a regular Nordstrom's I typically don't find anything that I can live without. I y=usually am more apt to find something to my liking at a regular Nordstrom's but I wouldn't quite count myself as a regular shopper there either. By and large it's more of a preference thing really more than anything else. While I do love acquiring clothes...and from an observer's point of view that may look like I am not picky at all with what I get I actually am more picky than it would look. So that really has nothing to do with quality of product of service really. Just preference. Moving away from preference however is the parking to get to the cluster of stores where this store is at. It's often a tight squeeze and and very congested to navigate through here. Other driver's get mixed up at the Stop signs or simply don't care and one can risk a collision. That's why if I go to this sector of stores I park over in the main mall parking lot and get in and out from the main mall routes rather than navigating through all the pedestrians and cars. This Ross is very clean and well-recovered as compared to the average Ross store…read more I was stoked to find a steering wheel cover I've been looking for for a few months, and even more stoked when I walked up to the front of the store, and didn't see the nightmarish line that is characteristic of shopping at Ross. They had installed self checkouts. A miracle. Now, I happen to have a personal opinion that self-checkout use should require some type of training or license, but that's a separate issue. I was only buying one item, and I was about to be done checking out in less than thirty seconds flat. Or so I thought. As I walked happily towards the door, I heard a hoarse voice choking at me, "ma'am! MA'AM!" Was she croaking at *me*? "I need to verify your receipt." Sounds reasonable at first. I hadn't noticed a woman in a Loss Prevention uniform at a poorly placed kiosk where the tagging racks normally are. She was helping someone else. So I had to wait for her to finish scanning someone else's things, and then scan my receipt and scan my things. She wasn't doing a visual check like Costco does. She needed to physically scan every receipt and every item, and her scanner was slow, and she was bad at it. Her attitude was just so rude and gross, and she was so slow that it seemed intentional. Was she supposed to be loss prevention, or a decent cashier? Cause she was certainly not both. She was either the worst cashier I've ever come across, or she was deliberately slowing me down because she could tell I was in a hurry. It took her way longer to scan my items than it had taken me. And she acted like it was difficult and inconvenient to verify my one item. This entirely defeated the whole purpose of the self checkout. Ross ALMOST improved their awful checkout process. So close. As I was walking out, a couple of managers called our cheerfully, "That's cute! Have a good day!" It seemed like they knew that their 'lead checker' was bringing moods down, and this was their intervention. If Ross is going to put a lead checker at a bottleneck security check, it needs to be a decent, friendly checker, not a rude security officer who doesn't know her way around a POS. Other than that it was a good store.

The lady at the store was very helpful and knowledgeable about what we were looking for and gave us a few suggestions. We had a couple of options to choose from and accessories to buy. After a short time of contemplating on what to get, we decided on a pair of shoes, and the traditional Hanbok in fair solid color. We already had a matching black cap and belt, so just needed the main apparel. She gave us a discount, so that helped out as well for all of the items we wanted. We had a great first experience visiting this store and found the prices of our items to be pretty reasonable.

I went in today at this store feeling unwelcomed, had very nice clothes but once i was in the…read morefitting room 20 minutes before closing, two white male cops went inside the female fitting rooms thinking I was stealing because of the color of my skin saying it was time for me to go but the store wasn't even closed when I know it really wasn't time. Being without clothes, they wanted to open my curtain and saying if I don't hurry up they will come in and kick me out. Once i had my clothes on and ready to go, they followed me outside the store and i told the manager why was this happening and she gave me a very NASTY look and IGNORED me. The two male cops kept following me until I was at the food court on my way out. This is very unexceptional, unexpected and inexcusable.

One thing I liked is their website has an extensive selection, but sometimes you could find the dress in the store to try on and even if it was the wrong size they could order it for you and have it shipped to your house for free because they're based in California. It took about 3 - 4 business days to get my shoes that I needed in a certain size and a dress that I needed. So if you plan a little bit in advance and they don't have your size they can check inventory and order it for you so you can get within 3 to 4 days you should have it if you're in WA. You'll be notified when the order ships and when your order is expected delivery + a tracking number to watch for it. The girls that work there are sweet, helpful, but not hovering, and will show you what they have if you ask for something particular.

First time in an old navy and the workers were so rude and not helpful. Felt rushed to get out of…read morethere. They were also taking pictures of me when I was trying to find help and trying to avoid me? All I wanted was shoes I saw online and couldn't find in store. I picked out something else in store only for the product on the tag to say something different than the actual shoe itself. I asked the cashiers if I can buy the shoe from online and ship to the store since I'm about to move to across country and want to have my mail sorted out through usps first so it doesn't get lost in the system. She said they could only deliver it to a house instead of in store. I looked online later because I've always done it at Abercrombie, American eagle, and Tillys where I can order in store and have it mailed to the store for secure pick up. So not only did she lie, she was also trying to take pictures of me and laugh behind my back? Crazy. I went in the next day to return the shoes that said one size but were actually another (my luck of course) and the other person was actually super nice surprisingly. And they had items on sale too. It took me no time to get my items. It was actually stress free when I shopped there. And I saved money. Customer service was an A+ letter grade if I was a teacher. The clerks made us feel welcome That raises the letter grade more higher. And they put coupons in our bags too. I love saving money! The overall shopping experience was great for me.
