Phenomenal vet. The Dr. Gurmani took very good care of my cat Yumi who was knocking at deaths door. I took her in at night time and she was quickly diagnosed with FIP (she would have been dead in a week if I waited any longer). He immediately aided me in ordering the correct medicine for her and reassured me, took fluid out of her abdomen, and took such good care of her. He also gave me clear instruction to weigh her ever so often and to feel free to contact him to adjust the dosage of the FIP medicine. Yumi is completely healed after her treatment and I am forever grateful for this Dr. Gurmani.

This cat collar was like $12 on amazon. My cat was able to move around much easier without being able to lick his wounds

My poor elderly cat had been acting sleepy but still normal. He then started to hiss if we'd pet his backside and he acted like he couldn't make the jump up onto the beds in the house. He was lying on my pillow and suddenly I noticed a WOUND near his butt and realized why he was acting so freaking weird. (I mean he is a CAT, so weird is normal for them) I googled "cat wound near anus" and a billion pictures popped up of the same thing my cat had. It was an abscess of the anal gland. The internet said it was considered an emergency. It was Halloween at 5pm. Not an ideal time to have an emergency but thankfully I was able to get in right away. I must have gotten there at shift change cuz they had a little posse of cool and friendly employees ready to help me and my old man cat get checked in. These girls had ZERO problem discussing my cats anus, anal glands or any other butt related topic. I'm sure they see hundreds of pets a week but they asked about my Kedi and really were kind and caring. Anyways Kedi had to have a surgery (which was what the internet told me. The cool thing is they did it right there and I was able to come pick him up just a couple of hours later. Yes I brought the staffers candy- it was Halloween ad working on a holiday is tough!! Its been 8 days and Kedi is doing great. We got him one of those soft collars on Amazon. The funnel that vets use is really tricky for a tiny headed cat like mine. If you have a cat you should get one now so you have it when you need it. My cat could barely even drink water with the neck funnel collar. It will give great peace of mind to get them the more comfortable one. I'll post a pic- they are really inexpensive. Anyways. The price was also exactly what the internet said. They gave more than enough pain meds and antibiotic meds. We had a drainage tube that had to be taken out and we did that today. Second time visiting and the staff were still cool, professional, knowledgable and kind. My cat is home and sleeping and all is well. I really had a great experience with this vet and I'm going to keep going to them for the future. (we were at Banfield and it was about as warm as the DMV) Thanks Topanga Vet. I appreciate this painless experience and all of you working there.

AVOID TOPANGA VETERINARY CLINIC - SCAM ALERT Quoted $80 over the phone for a procedure plus an $80 sign-up fee. When we arrived, the place was dirty, we waited 2 hours, and then they tried to charge $960 for the same procedure. When I mentioned the phone quote, they denied it. Dishonest, unprofessional, and a complete scam. Stay away.

While everyone in the office was very courteous, and I appreciated how quickly we were seen, I had a big issue with the bill. I took my to Topanga Veterinary Clinic for hot spots. She has been seen for similar hot spots in the past, but the cost was much less. Almost 1/3 of what I was charged by Topanga. Where I was charged almost $1,100 by you, a competitive clinic charged me about $480. I am attaching both bills for reference. I only took my dog to Topanga Vet because it was closer to me at the time. I contacted Topanga Vet Clinic by email to discuss the bill, but I received no response. Topanga never discussed with me alternatives to the treatments. Instead, it appears they simply deployed whatever treatments cost the most. I really don't know for sure since they didn't respond to my inquiries. While I understand that every clinic does things differently, I don't believe I should have been charged almost triple the cost of a competitive clinic.

She did good at the vet!!

I brought in a stray cat that was hanging in my backyard for a few days. She had an injured eye so I wanted to get that checked out and get her treated for fleas and ticks so that I could foster her. They were busy but they took me in pretty quickly considering that I didn't have an appointment. The receptionist, vet assistant and the vet were all friendly. I find their prices to be very reasonable and their care to be outstanding. They assisted me and my little ole kitty friend with what she needed and didn't try to add on any unnecessary procedures & treatments. I appreciate the visit I had with them yesterday and was overall impressed:)

The last thing you want when your fur baby is suffering is to reach voicemail after voicemail. Hearing a compassionate human voice on the other end of the phone brought me so much comfort. She came to my home first thing the next morning. I was worried about my younger Golden Retriever jumping on her or interfering with her care, but she was absolutely wonderful with both of my dogs. She encouraged him to stay in the room with us once he was comfortable with her, and I truly believe that helped him understand what was happening. She was incredibly professional, but I'll never forget one small moment. Out of the corner of my eye, while I was saying my final words and paying my last tributes to my girl, I saw her quietly wiping tears from her eyes. As a healthcare provider myself, I know how often we're expected to wear a mask and stay composed. Seeing that genuine emotion didn't make her seem less professional, it reassured me that she truly cared. In those final moments, your mind races. You question whether you're making the right decision. Seeing her emotion gave me peace because I knew she wasn't simply going through the motions. I knew that if she believed my girl wasn't ready, she would have told me. Most of us are fortunate enough to experience this kind of heartbreak only a few times in our lives. She carries families through it over and over again. That takes an incredible amount of compassion. Thank you for your kindness, your empathy, and for helping my sweet Lilo leave this world peacefully and with dignity. Please take care of yourself, too. The first photo is the day Oliver met Lilo as a puppy, their first photo together. The second was taken just before the veterinarian arrived to help Lilo pass. I didn't realize until later that I had unknowingly captured both the beginning and the end of their story together I will miss my Lilo for eternity.

Absolute nightmare. Do not trust ACCESS Woodland Hills with your pets…read more I am completely devastated by the treatment my dog and I received here. My dog was referred here for an urgent ultrasound on May 7th. Since my dog is unwell due to an enlarged prostate + infection and uti, I opted for him to get admitted on fluids, antibiotics and pain meds. Overnight we were getting updates and per techs my dog is doing fine. The next morning, Dr. Zhang mentioned concern regarding my dog being in a lot of pain, no appetite and told us he needs an ultrasound and an ultrasound with needle aspiration to figure out what is going on. I ONLY CONSENTED FOR ULTRASOUND and for some reason Dr. Zhang decides to do the ultrasound with fine needle aspiration anyway. Based on this unauthorized test, she gave my dog a horrific, terminal diagnosis of septic bacterial effusion or an infected fluid leak in the abdomen. She claimed it could not be medically managed. She gave me two choices: $20,000 for emergency surgery with a 50/50 survival rate, or euthanize him immediately because he would deteriorate within 24 hours. Refusing to give up, I took him to Mission Veterinary the next day for a second opinion. Their vet found ZERO fluid in his abdomen. It was a treatable prostate infection--not a terminal septic abdomen. He was treated conservatively with fluids and antibiotics. No surgery was performed. Today, my dog is alive, healthy, and fully recovered. If Dr. Zhang's diagnosis had been accurate, my dog would have died without immediate surgery. A true septic abdomen cannot be medically managed, and septic fluid cannot simply be "absorbed by the body." So WHERE DID THE FLUID COME FROM? Was it really done, is it from somebody else's pet or a false result??? Yet, when I demanded accountability, the medical director brushed me off with medical nonsense, claiming the fluid was reabsorbed and that my dog "got lucky." (Also note that I got the 2nd opinion less than 24hrs of grave misdiagnosis) ACCESS constantly posts public boilerplate responses on reviews telling people to contact them because they "take concerns seriously." It is a complete lie. When I actually raised my concerns, it took them weeks to respond, and they ultimately just ignored me in the end. They have completely ghosted my formal requests for a resolution. They care about money and optics, not animals. STAY FAR AWAY. They prey on your vulnerability and love for your pet! This hospital almost killed my dog and I thank God every day that I did not listen to them!!!

When I got there, vet techs were waiting for me. Some of them took her back, and one took my story on what happened, and her symptoms. I had to call Pet Poison Line so they could tell the vets how to treat her-that's fine-and they wanted to do a full workup on her since she is 12. I said that's fine, that's what insurance is for. It was about 11pm when I was sent home to rest while they took care of her. At about two, they called me to tell me that she survived the nightshade poisoning, but they had found a thicker spot in her intestines in the x-ray, and they wanted to do follow-up images in the morning, so I got another estimate for them to keep her til the next day and run another round of x-rays and do an ultrasound. She stayed and I went back to sleep. In the morning, a very kind vet whose name I don't remember called me and went over what is happening and why that spot could be there. She gave me advice on how to proceed after today. She asked what food my cat eats so they could give it to her there too. I was kept in the loop the whole time from when I got there to when I picked her up at 4:30pm. It set me back about $3500. Thank God for pet insurance. Rebecca, Natalie, Vanessa, and so many others have gone above and beyond for us. The communication from the entire team has always been excellent. They make sure we understand what is happening, help us get the records and information we need, answer questions thoughtfully, and are consistently responsive and helpful. Those things matter so much when you are scared, overwhelmed, or trying to make decisions for an animal you love. Every time we have needed emergency or specialty care, we have felt like our dogs were in capable, thoughtful hands. It is such a gift to have a veterinary team that not only clearly loves animals, but is also smart, thorough, communicative, and exceptionally good at what they do. Dr. Cole was Moo's cardiologist, and we were incredibly grateful for the care she received. Dr. Naman also performed surgery on Artie's leg several years ago, and because of that surgery he was able to run freely and enjoy his life again. We will always be thankful for that. Losing Artie and Moo has been heartbreaking, but when I think about the care they received at ACCESS throughout their lives, I feel an enormous amount of gratitude. They were treated with dignity and compassion, and we always felt that the people caring for them genuinely wanted the very best for them. Our experiences with ACCESS have been consistently excellent -- from cardiology and surgery to emergency visits, communication, follow-up, and helping us with records afterward. It was our first time within the ACCESS network so we did not know that the Cardiology Department was separate from Internal Medicine and the Emergency Department. We didn't know that there were so many varying departments. It didn't set in that this was a specialty clinic not a traditional veterinarian office (even though "specialty animal hospital" is literally in their name...haha). The Cardiology Department was on the second floor in a building shared with other companies. The office was clean and peaceful. The women at the front desk were kind and patient. They answered our questions and were helpful. We were seen quickly in the consultation room and I love that the nurse drew a cute little picture with cat ears and whiskers, and put our cat's name on the white dry erase board that was outside of the consultation room. She listened intently to our concerns as it had already been confirmed that the referring veterinarian had provided our cat's health records. We fully expected to wait a while for the doctor since we were about forty minutes early but about five minutes later Dr. Cole greeted us warmly with a team of onlookers (supporting doctors, maybe interns too not exactly sure). Dr. Cole was patient and explained the process for examining our cat's heart health. He answered our questions and took our fur baby for the testing. Around twenty minutes later he and his team returned with the results. He explained the prescription medicine that would be beneficial for our cat and gave further medical advice for our cat. I really appreciated the transparency and clarity around the results. I felt relieved to have such a warm, competent and friendly doctor handling the care for our fur baby. What should have been a straightforward emergency visit turned into a traumatic 8-hour nightmare because of their staff's negligence, terrible attitude, and shocking lack of empathy. While my pug was hospitalized under their direct care, he somehow managed to chew and swallow part of the facility's own equipment. Because the staff failed to properly monitor him, my dog had to endure additional forced vomitin (2 extra times), x-rays, general anesthesia, and an upper GI endoscopy. Putting a small breed through general anesthesia and multiple invasive procedures in pne night takes a massive physical toll, and seeing him go through all of that for an issue they caused was completely heartbreaking and entirely preventable. Sitting in that waiting room for 8 hours overnight was agonizing. Zero Check-Ins & Neglected Updates: I was left sitting in the waiting room for hours on end without a single staff member proactively checking on me or giving me an update. Every single piece of information I received required me to walk up to the front desk and ask for it myself. Distress and Callousness: I sat there for hours hearing my dog whimpering in the back. At the exact same time, I had to listen to the staff laughing, joking, and chatting right nearby. I know people talk and laugh at work, but hearing the staff carry on while my dog was crying in pain after they let him eat hospital equipment felt incredibly cold and insensitive. Attitude & Eye-Rolling Over Documentation requests: When I asked for existing paperwork documenting the equipment incident (simply to ensure I had records in case he needed follow-up treatment late) the RVT gave me a ridiculous amount of attitude, eye-rolling, and unnecessary back-and-forth. To make matters worse, she claimed the doctor was "actually doing me a favor" by waiving the fees for the endoscopy and extra procedures to incude vommiting. Fixing a mistake caused by your own oversight isn't a favor, it's basic accountability. Zero Follow-Through: After promising that the practice manager, "Jennifer," would reach out to address the situation, missing records, and potential future care, I received nothing. No email, no phone call. Complete radio silence. The one single bright spot was the attending veterinarian, Dr. Taniguchi. He truly did his best, treated my dog with care, and tried to make things right by waiving the fees for the incident and escalating it to leadership. I can genuinely see that he cared, and I appreciate him for that. Unfortunately, one good doctor can't make up for a disrespectful staff, negligent supervision, and management that hides behind ghosting a pet owner. Please think twice before leaving your pets here when they are at their most vulnerable.

I was very excited because Siberian Husky was a dream for me since 2012. So, I was pretty sure to look for a good breeder and I found one. I sent my information to Ashley through imessage and she sent me pictures of Kody & Kira and said that these are going to be the Mom & Dad of your pup. Now I was really excited because my actual plan was to surprise my girlfriend on her birthday and I can bring the puppy home any day around her birthday which was a very convenient birthday surprise. On April 2, 2019 Ashley and I became Facebook friends and I saw her MAMA's Howling Pups pages on social media platforms and we gained more trust on each other. On the same day, I confirmed her that I'm getting my Siberian Husky from her and I wanted a female. So, my status was "1st reserved female". I was interested in getting a Husky puppy with a specific mask, a black mask with white eyebrows and I wasn't interested in the eye color because Ashley told me and made me understand that eye color doesn't matter as long as they have healthy eyes. On April 25, 2019 Kira was popping out the babies and I already decided a name for my puppy and it was 'Sharvara' (google it) and Sharvara was born as the 5th puppy and she didn't have the mask I wanted (no cute eyebrows) but she looked like a little panda baby but there was a baby with the mask I wanted but it's a male baby and my friend Leny chose him. Ashley said we are having another litter pretty soon, if you don't like her mask we will wait until the next litter and see if that litter has a female puppy with the mask you wanted but I really liked Sharvara for the panda look. I said it's alright Ashley, I will take this one. But I went crazy on April 30, 2019. Mila & Kody's litter - Mila had her babies on April 30, 2019 and she had a puppy (a female) with the exact mask I wanted. My mind was changing but I cannot just give up on Sharvara for the mask! Okay what do I do? I asked my girlfriend, if we ever get a puppy? what would you name her? she said 'Aaira'. I was like, okay I'm getting another puppy from this litter as well and named her Aaira. Normally dogs (especially Siberian Huskies) are pack animals and they have communal brain. They do well when they are together with a minimum of 2 huskies. I searched all over the internet about getting 2 huskies at one time because this was a surprise event for me. I never thought that I would have 2 huskies. After my research, I found that handling 2 huskies is a lot easier than handling 1 lonely husky and that's the truth because I'm experiencing it right now. Ashley has separate group chats for each litter in FB messenger app where you can socialize with your sibling puppy parents. She shared pictures as they opened their eyes and she sends pictures with their weights each week. On June 23, 2019 (for 2 months puppies stay with their mothers) I was able to bring Sharvara and Aaira home but I was doomed because my stupid apartment community didn't allow siberian huskies. I had to move to a new community. I gave a 30-day notice and I cannot keep the puppies at my home. I texted Ashley and asked her what to do, because I cannot entrust anyone else but Ashley with my puppies and leaving them at her house with 1 month boarding charges was the best idea. So, the same evening I went back to her house and left them at her house. We were really sad. On July 20, 2019 I moved to a new community which is very dog friendly and allowed Siberian Huskies and it was time to pick Sharvara and Aaira. I was very excited but scared at the same time because when I brought them to that stupid community, they pissed and pooped everywhere in the house. I was surprised to see they didn't poop/piss inside the house. Guess what? ASHLEY TRAINED THEM TOO in that 1 month (She could have chosen not to train them, but she did! she cares) Thank You Ashley We love you!

A box with the ashes with the cat name on it. The box came with no name on it. The nose print never came. The company has continuously promised to deliver these items. It's been five months now. They're obviously not going to provide these things that they promised. They've also contacted her three times since the death of her beloved pet for her to adopt other pets. My daughter is very destroyed! She needs closure!

When my dog Coco passed away in December 2024, Coral Cremations was one of many places I called. From the moment they answered the phone, I knew they were different. They spoke with such kindness, compassion, and genuine sympathy that it immediately brought me a small sense of comfort during one of the worst days of my life. It truly shows how much they love and respect the animals entrusted to their care. Coco was one of the most well behaved, gentle, and loving dogs I've ever had. I was beyond devastated when she passed. Throughout the entire process, Coral Cremations treated her with so much dignity and gentleness that it gave me peace of mind knowing she was in caring hands. About two weeks later, she was returned to us in a beautiful wooden urn along with a keepsake and her paw prints. Every detail was handled with such care. Sadly, I've had to use their services again after recently losing my second dog, Chewy. As heartbreaking as the circumstances were, hearing the same familiar, compassionate voices brought me comfort. To my surprise, they even remembered Coco. That meant more to me than they'll probably ever know. They also included an additional engraved keepsake as a kind gesture, completely unexpected and at no extra cost. It was such a thoughtful act during an incredibly difficult time. I hope no one ever has to search for pet cremation services, but if you do, I wholeheartedly recommend Coral Cremations. They don't just provide a service, they help families through one of the most painful moments of their lives with genuine compassion, respect, and kindness. I'll always be grateful for the care they gave both of my babies.
