From the very first call, it was absolutely amazing--he representative was so patient, understanding, and genuinely thoughtful about my loss. He made a painful situation feel a little less overwhelming. Nala was picked up within the hour, and the individual who came to get her was incredibly kind and gentle. He never rushed us, gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes, and handled my baby with so much care. He expressed his condolences both when he arrived and before he left, which meant more to us than he probably knows. He also took the time to answer every question and address all of our concerns before leaving. The process took about two weeks, but during that time I received updates on Nala and on her wooden urn, which I truly appreciated. The communication was excellent. That Friday, they even reached out to ask what day and time would work best for Nala's delivery--it was comforting to know they were being so considerate and respectful every step of the way. On the day of delivery, the driver kept me updated on his ETA, called about 10 minutes before arriving, and was right on time. The delivery itself was handled with so much care, gentleness, and compassion. It was a beautiful and respectful experience during such a difficult time. At first, I was really impressed and felt at ease because they were responsive and were able to pick up my dog right away. They guaranteed my dog would be back home within a week. That didn't happen, which I was understanding about. 2 weeks ago by and I was getting impatient but still trying to understand that they might be busy. But then a month goes by and I'm calling everyday, and it was excuse after excuse. The verifications were still getting processed...the courier was sick...the weather is bad. It was excuses every single time. We even offered different delivery locations and offered to pick up at their office. But the excuses continued. And then the lady that was answering the phone had an attitude because I kept asking for an update. I tried my best to be patient because we really wanted my dog home. It's now been well over a month.Every time we call, they give us a new date or excuse -- and nothing ever happens. I wish I could give negative stars. The lack of customer service is astounding. I used them to cremate my father's dog that I inherited when my father passed away from cancer. His dogs is all he had. The remains were extremely important to me. Every time you call you just get a person that is for dispatch. You leave a message for a manager or someone from the office with no response. I was told 1 to 2 weeks. It took almost 5 weeks. I finally had to hang up on someone who was just doing their job to finally get a call back. I would NEVER ENTRUST in this company. Their Google ad and website both say that pick up and urn is included with the price but it is NOT. I was charged $445 for pick up and cremation. Since the urn was stated to be included, I did not ask and confirm that is so. My best girl was picked up on a Saturday morning and by Wednesday I get a call from Valerie asking me if I'm gonna keep her ashes or scatter them? I told her I was keeping them. She then told me it's $30 for the urn. I told her that her ad said the urn was included and Valerie told me that's not the case. I also checked their website after this conversation, and written on their site, clear as day, "Every package we offer includes a free urn...". This company promised me a "private cremation" I sure hope that is the case. If they can deceive and lie about small things like "urn included" what else do they deceive and lie about? I usually read reviews before committing to a product or service but with my dog suddenly dying and me having not slept a wink the night that happened, I wasn't in my clear mind. I called Valerie a couple days after my dog was picked on (Monday morning) and asked for a paw print keep sake. My clay paw print was $50. I really wished I had gone somewhere else. My sister had her dog cremation last year and he is in the most beautiful urn with his name and paw print on the urn. I feel like I could have done so much better for my beloved girl's memory had I gone with a different company. My dog was big and this box seems so small. I called up their office to ask and the woman who answered sounded so irritated and careless. UPDATE : Worst curbside manor - As I carried my beautiful baby out to the pickup in a burial / cremation sealed bag... Sam opened the trunk to his Tesla where there were other "babies" as he called them, put into garbage bags piled on top of one another.. I was truly MORTIFIED AT THIS SIGHT. When I got emotional seeing that this man is clearly just desensitized to peoples bond with their deceased animals, I had to excuse myself from that moment as my husband finished speaking with Sam, as he explained we were getting a wonderful deal on this service. When my husband explained I had to step away due to the nature of Sams arrival and lack of compassion or empathy, Sam replied " well it would be more traumatizing if they Were not in the garbage bags" I wanted to throw up. he kept saying I'll take care of your baby...He wasn't sincere whatsoever... I felt ashamed I had let my baby into this man's hands, but my husband told me nothing about this is easy - and this guy was simply running a business, he does care about animals, he cares about money. When our 14-year-old Border Collie, Tommy", suffered a flair-up of his Vestibular Condition on the Sunday before Halloween, resulting in numerous falls -- one of which dislodged a blood clot that traveled to his brain...causing a mortal stroke which put him into a coma. My baby boy passed last week, and in my grief I searched for a way to have his remains cremated. I love my dog dearly, so when I found a business which offered to come pick him up and deliver his ashes to me, it seemed quite perfect for him. They had no problem picking him up and charging me for it. I suppose that should have been the first sign that I was dealing with a heartless company. Before anyone even got to my house, I got an invoice in my email for $300. That wouldn't have been a big deal, except 5 hours later, I received another email reminding me to pay. I'm sure they'll say it was automation or something of that nature, however reminding someone to pay multiple times in a day is quite upsetting, especially when you're processing the death of a loved one. A driver arrived an hour or so after I called and took my pup away. No one contacted me with any concerns about driving to my house or asked about the state of the roads based on the recent rains, but when it came to delivering the ashes, it was quite a different story. The driver called me up and told me that the owner was concerned about mudslides around my house, and wanted me to go meet him somewhere else to collect my dogs' remains. When I reminded him that it was sunny, hadn't rained in a week and was nearly 70 degrees, he told me "... my owner just wants us to be safe..." I asked that he have his owner call me to discuss that, and he said he would but I didn't recieve a call, so I called the business myself. The owner told me that his drivers aren't used to driving in the mountains, of which I reminded him that they had no problem getting here when they were picking up the body. He then argued with me for a solid 3 minutes ending with his telling me that everyone who lost a beloved pet has a hard time with it. I told him I don't want special treatment, I just want the service that I paid for to be fulfilled. He agreed to that and my dogs remains were delivered about 20 minutes later. They were calling not before coming to my house, but while they were already en route, near my place with my best friends' ashes. Even if the concern for the drivers safety was genuine, this whole experience has been nowhere near the compassionate, caring and understanding professionalism that is touted on their website. My baby boy was treated more like an inconvenient package delivery than a one of the most important parts of my life and what should have been a sad and delicate moment will forever stay in my memory as something angry and disturbing. You would think that these sorts of situations would be something that a business dealing with lost, beloved pets would be well adept at navigating, but Coral Cremations simply did not seem to care. After the picked up our pets body we were told the ashes would be delivered approximately 14 days later, along with the package we chose. After 14 days there wasn't even a call or text to update us on the status. At little over 2 weeks after they told us that our pet's remains would be delivered on a certain day but they failed to make the delivery. When they finally delivered our pet we still waited hours over the time frame they had originally said. When the package was delivered, it was missing our pets clay paw print and a bamboo memorial that was part of the package we ordered. Absolutely horrible experience! They were very sensitive to the situation but if you are sensitive to the situation I would have someone deal with this situation that can handle. It's hard to watch your loved one get put in a plastic bag and put into a car trunk, they have to do this to keep the bugs away but it is hard to see.
