A member of the team was visiting our neighbor to assess their damage and so we asked for a quote too. When they came back, they did an excellent job -- I highly recommend them. My only issue was that there was some miscommunication with the office about appointment times - but that was on both of us. TopDown roofing came and cut down three large trees and several overgrown holly bushes at my home. They left my yard looking like a tornado had hit the place with limbs and wood and brush left all over my yard. They also left a mess in my neighbors yard that I had to also go and clean up and caused damage to their driveway. When contacted about coming back to clean up the destruction they caused I got excuse after excuse about how they would come tomorrow or the next day but there was always an excuse. I finally had to clean up the mess myself. I hauled off 17 wheelbarrows full of debris and limbs and brush with 7 of those being left in my neighbors yard and driveway. If you want to see what your yard would look like after a tornado then call this company. Otherwise I would avoid them. It will be nothing but a headache for you. And in response to your comment below, you sure replied fast to this review but couldn't be bothered to come by and make things right. And I took videos and pictures and the brush and wood is still here at the house anytime you want to come by. Troy with TopDown Roofing is incredibly knowledgeable and responsive! I texted him around 9am and he was at our house by 11am. He did a very thorough inspection and was able to find the issue quickly. Not only is he going to fix our roofing issues, he's going to patch and paint the water damage as well. Topdown put a new roof on my daughter's house and she was very satisfied with their results. When my wife and I needed a new roof, we checked reviews and chose them. They worked very well with our insurance company and installation began. They did an excellent job and cleaned up completely afterwards. Then problems began. We had given them checks for our deductible and for our solar panels reinstallation, so we thought that no further bills would come. But we received a further bill for $3600! We phoned them and they said that we would receive a further check from our insurance company to cover it. I asked whether we would receive any more bills and they said no. When the insurance check came, it was for $5000! I thought that our insurance had given us extra for our solar panels. We soon received another bill for $1400 from Topdown! We finally reached agreement and I paid the $1400. The billing department was very unprofessional and failed to explain their alternative billing. They sent us two different invoices with different amounts, but they had the same invoice number! We agreed to a conference call for three o'clock, but they didn't call until 4:30! They were clearly working from home and there were children screeching in the background. It was all a mess! Can't recommend! read more
