Hitting a golf ball and using all my force and strength to hit and score points...sounded easy peasy or so I thought.. I was taken here the other week for a first date and nope.. I'm not much of a golfer at all. In fact I was absolutely tragic at it. Props to my date though who thought of a fun activity for us to do! Upon arrival, the staff at this location were very friendly and informative. You pay a $5 joining fee and receive a membership card which you can use at any other TopGolf location. My date paid the hefty price of $40 per hour to hit balls. It is a tad bit pricey for what it is... Nonetheless was still a fun experience. My score was tragic. My form was tragic. My aim was tragic. So....I'm kind of obsessed with this place. You have two options. 1. You're a golfer...If this is the case, you have finally found what you've been searching for, your entire golfing career. This is basically a double decker driving range, you have your own account, the computer knows your balls(giggidy), you play games against your buddies, and you're going to sharpen your game here, more so than any other golf facility. Not only are you hitting at a target, you are trying to get it in precise quadrants of said target. You're gonna love it. 2. You're not a golfer...guess what? It don't matta. This driving range just so happens to be located inside of a bar, restaurant, theme park, and is basically happy fun land. The bars and the staff wait on you hand and foot, the food is great, or go next door and play putt putt. It's like when Tom Hanks got that big studio apartment in BIG, and there are no parents and no rules, do whatever you want. Plus, give Topgolf a whirl, i've know several people who had never played golf, and now they're addicted to Topgolf. Came on a Friday night with a group of 3. The wait to golf was pretty long so we put our name on the list and sat down at a table to have dinner. Our server was Ivonee and the first thing she said to us was "Are y'all ordering anything"? It shocked our entire group. If we're sitting at a table looking at menus, wouldn't you assume we're there to order? No, "Hi, my name is Ivonee and I'll be your server today. Can I get you anything to drink?"...nothing. We all ordered drinks to start and we had to repeat our drinks twice, and she still messed up an order. After we ordered our drinks, she asked for a card to put our tab on. I asked why she needed a card that soon when we haven't even received our drinks and she sharply said, "Because ppl run out on the tab. It's not coming out of my paycheck". I get the feeling her assumption that we'd run out on the tab was rooted in racial stereotyping. We had a great time golfing and the front desk cashier Claire was really sweet, but Ivonee's poor service really turned us off. Oh, almost forgot. The drinks were very watered down. read more

What a fun way to enjoy yourself! Now a few things to know! When you arrive you will need to get a membership card. Its 5 bucks and its one time only, lifetime membership! Secondly if you are coming at a busy time, expect a wait! And they have plenty of space and seating inside and out to keep you comfortable while you wait! The food is amazing and so are the drinks! We grabbed a few beers and a couple of shots. Our party was pretty large and they managed to get us all in the same section. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Since a lot of us where first timers, the staff showed us how to do everything! I must admit that my first swing was a miss, but after then I started to get the hang of it!!!!!! I say this a great place to have a party! It wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be, due to the fact we split the cost of everything! TopGolf is pretty thoroughly reviewed. What else is there to say? This place is Golf Mecca. Dozens of computerized driving bays. If you hit your ball into a target it registers the yardage and allows you to compete with your friends. It's an incredible concept, really. TopGolf also has an awesome putting green thats up a hill so you can also practice your wedge shots. Did I mention they bring you beers to your putting green? Fucking awesome. My only gripe with TopGolf is that other people know about it. Since everyone knows how bad ass TopGolf is, Fridays and Saturdays can get REALLY busy. We once waited the better part of an hour for a spot one Friday night, and I hear Saturdays and Sundays are even worse. That said, this place is great, no other driving range compares. read more

I'm not a golfer, but I've learned a few things at Top Golf: 1) A two hour wait on a Saturday afternoon is to be expected. 2) A two hour wait on a Saturday afternoon at the Top Golf bar is FUN. 3) Their guacamole is yummy and their beer is ice cold. Keep it coming. 4) You get free mini golf while you wait....but you'll end up staying at the bar instead. 5) If you say you're not a golfer....buy your 3rd beer you'll be swinging away. 6) Playing in heels and a skirt is accepted here....hell, it's encouraged! 7) The top level is the place to be. 8) You can play as the night rolls in. Even if it's lightening and pouring rain, you can keep the party going at Top Golf. 9) Go ahead and buy the members card....you're going to end up wanting to play more games than you think. Fun place, but pricey and I'll echo the other reviewers about inattentiveness of the wait staff. Took forever to get a menu, then to order, then to finally get a drink and our food. Oh, also Top Golf management decided it was a good idea to post a 30.06 sign on the front door denying entry to those with concealed firearm permits. I question the logic and ethicality of an establishment denying people a means of self defense without providing adequate security in its place. It's foolish to think that those intent on committing crimes will be deterred by a sign on the door. This is Texas ya'll, not a good idea to turn customers away at the door. read more

One of the oldest Top Golf location but still the best one in my opinion. This is the only location with batting cage which is my favorite. They also have yard games such as bean bag toss, jenga, connect four and giant beer pong. They also have miniature golf which is quite entertaining. Plenty of activities to keep you busy as you wait to be called for top golf. They always seem to renovate/update this place which I really admired. That's always a good strategy to lure in customers. On certain days, there's a live band and also a DJ. Overall I enjoy coming here on a good weather with good company. Just wish they had better email deals since pricing can be a bit high sometimes. read more

I love this place. I want to live here. I want to spend every birthday, holiday, anniversary, weekend HERE. The only reason why I can't give it 5 stars is because it is really really expensive. A basket of golf balls here costs at least three times more than at other driving ranges. However, given that most people I see here are not...well...exactly...golf fanatics, the price doesn't really bother all the party people there just to have a great time. And a great time it does deliver. Top Golf is a massive two deck driving range with microchips in all of the golf balls. It's like bowling, but with golf. I love to hit balls, but honestly, sometimes I just go for the eye-crossing goodness that is their Bison Burger. HO-LY GOD. The meat is lean, but juicy, and seasoned to perfection. Paired with a side of crispy hot sweet potato fries, you have yourself a delicious and gutbusting meal. Prices for the food are actually really fair. My meal cost me about $11. But when it comes to alcohol, that's where the prices soar back up. A pitcher of beer will run you $8, while 12 cans of beer costs $18. So, maybe just save Top Golf for a special date, a special occassion, or a special weekend. read more

I would give Top Golf five stars, but they have got to really work on their food and please............... POLISH and CLEAN your darn drink glasses! There are always lipstick and crusty stains! What a turn off when you're craving a nice cold beer. My tip: get a styrofoam cup. Service.... well it's gotten better. Other than that, i always have a good time here with fam and friends...... Wait, one more thing.. It usually is hella packed on the weekends, especially if it's tolerable or beautiful weather. If the wait is long and you want to kill time by playing mini golf, it is FREE. The many times I've been to Topgolf over the years, I've always had a good experience. I feel that it's a good place to come with friends and family to relax (or coworkers), have some fun, and order food and drinks. From all of my visits here, I've never tried any of their food, but I must say that their menu looks good. Their menu reminds me of a "neighborhood restaurant/bar" type menu with the options that they have. As far as drinks go, I've ordered their beer and wine, and their selection isn't too bad. I do think that they should get some better wine options, but that's coming from someone that knows a bit about wine and can be snobby about it. The lower level could use more restrooms for sure. There's one restroom for the male and females, which causes long lines during busy times. The upstairs restroom has many more stalls, so they need to renovate the lower floor for everyone's convenience. There's a lot of room to golf in the bays and the sofa chairs are really comfortable. The only problem I have is that it's kind of confusing to go off of the play screen to keep score because sometimes the screen will show things that didn't happen, so I wonder how accurate it is of keeping score. I've also gone to their miniature golf course and it's a really fun and relaxing alternative to hitting the golf balls in the main area. Overall, it's a fun place to go and I'm sure I'll continue making visits here. read more

The people who conceived the idea of Top Golf should be considered geniuses. It is truly an ATM machine and just rakes in money. However, for anyone looking for a place to hit golf balls, this is not the place. If you are looking for a place to go with groups of people, then you will not be disappointed. However, you will be disappointed with the prices. It is truly unbelievable how much it costs to go hit 40 balls. If you go at a peak time, you have to pay for the card ($5), and then it is like $5.80 a game (20 balls). So if you want to play for a while, I would suggest paying $35 for an annual membership, and it includes 6 free games. That is definitely a better deal. There is always a line, and it can take forever to get a spot. I'm not used to that at a golf practice range. Call me old fashioned, but Top Golf is not golf. I have had a good time there with friends, but don't go often due to the price and atmosphere. I hear they have good drink prices and decent food, but I can't speak to that. read more

This place is great! Let me just tell you, I am not an avid golfer and I loved this place! There are 2 decks ( upper and lower) so there is plenty of space, and everything is digital- no need for little pencils- the GPS on the balls record every shot. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Your "private" range is actually just that, while it is an open space, you do have privacy from the other golfers. I didn't try the food but there is a pretty big menu with a ton of different options. There are also waitresses who will bring beer right to you, no need to interrupt your game! If this doesn't sound like your cup of tea, there is also miniature golf ( the real kind) and batting cages, Also, there is a nice big air conditioned bar with flat screen TV's inside. A few coworkers and I came by on a Wednesday evening around 5:45pm in hopes to catch the discounted lane rate - nope. There was an hour wait for a lane, which we waited out at the bar. The service at the bar was sporadic, with several different servers coming to our table (and forgetting a few drinks). The cocktails are mediocre (tried the Top Golf tea, margarita, and sangria), and probably not worth the price tag. Once we got up to the lane, we were put at pretty much the far end of the facility, which means you have to rotate your entire body 30 degrees in order to get it into any of the larger targets. This also means you hit the metal ball dispenser sometimes. Lame. Unless you know how to curve the golf ball (I certainly don't), you're pretty shafted. The food, on the plus side, was pretty good. My last experience was at Topgolf off 121, which was completely disappointing on the noms side. However, in Dallas the burgers, chicken sandwich, and tots were all yummy. On the down side, their chips and salsa taste like they come out of a jar from costco - definitely pass. Pass on the queso and guac as well, which is disappointing since we're in Texas! The mushi (burrito sushi) was creative but lacked any flavor. It's also kind of weird to be eating finger foods when you keep touching a dirty golf club, so keep some antibac on hand! read more

My cousins, lil bro, and I came here for a mini reunion and decided to hit it up since we haven't seen each other in a long while. Although I live pretty close to this place it took me nearly 9 months to finally visit this place. I could of had more fun times if I came to Top Golf sooner. Sorry TG. I like how at each range lane they have those adjustable golf tees in the ground (no more buying wooden tees!), but I don't like golfing off of that fake grass for the irons. Minus one star for this place also being concussion alley if you happen to have golf newbs or super drunks next to you on both sides of your lane. I don't think they knew they could adjust the tee height, so when it was higher than it was for the golfer, the ball would go flying into the beams overhead and ricochet back toward us. I had to duck several times to avoid getting hit by the balls. Afterward, I ducked every time I heard a loud "BANG" out of habit. They also have a nice little bar where we got a couple of buckets-o-beer. Not exactly cheap, but hey it's at a golf range. read more

Top Golf would get more stars if the wait staff were not complete morons. It's a brilliant venue with loads of fun swinging some clubs, even if you don't really play golf. It's a place you can try it out, or just sip on some frosty cold beverages and chow down on some pretty good food. Good place to get friends together on a lovely sunny afternoon. Or under the evening stars (well, that is if we could see the stars in this city). If I were to run this place, I would fire every single server. Or at least make them go to a better training class for waiters. If you want anything to eat or drink, I recommend going straight to the bar and getting it yourself. This review is only for the event coordinator department. With that being said, I'm planning on celebrating my bday and wanting to go to have brunch first then enjoy some time at TooGolf. I called to reserve maybe 2 lanes and they aren't able to assign 2 lanes next to each other unless you do an event reservation, which starts at $450! One lane reservation is $10, 2 or more would be $450!? Really? Then as I'm talking to the "even coordinator" she keeps trying to sell me on NOT having my brunch and eating there instead. I tell her I'm set on food and only need the lanes. She of course is bothered by the fact that I'm not giving in to her logic and threatens me and my guest of being kicked out. So I once again tell her only interested in the lanes and if they can't do 2 then I'll just keep my initial reservation. She said "fine" and hung up. Wow! I never expected that from TopGolf! I had not heard of Top Golf until about 6 months ago and still it took another 2 months to get here. For avid golfers and first timers alike Top Golf is a great time for everyone. From famlies with little ones, couples on a first date to the small group who just wants an excuse to drink Top Golf seems to cater to everyone. Wife and I have been here twice and each time we seem to hit it on peak hours because the wait time has never been less than an hour. It's worth the wait. Grabbing a bucket of beer and watching the first timers makes the wait pass by quickly. Going to a regular driving range is very differenct from going to Top Golf, because at a typical driving range you just grip it and rip it and maybe work on that menicing slice. The ranges never seem to be well kept and no one is there to serve you food and drink, nor are there misters to keep you cool. Top Golf has changed the game! Top Golf is a completely new take on golf with the idea to hit your ball into either of the 4 pits at varying distances. The closer you get to the center of the pit the higher your score. Each ball is registered with your ID, which is how you score points and how they track you down to pay for damages to balls that fly over the net...at least that is what the warning states. The best part about it is the space you are given...complete with two stadium chairs, computer scoring, mister fan and waitresses that keep your beer bucket full and take your food order. I was very surprised at how good the food was. Granted all we order were the chips and queso however, it was really good. The service is quick and they made sure we had what we needed. Once you are in your space you are not rushed. You can play the game as fast or as slow as you want...take a break for food or drink because there is no time limit and that space is yours until you're finished. If you do not have your own clubs, no worries. They have clubs to rent. As for the rest of the facility the bar is good place to wait with games on the flat screens. However, if the weather is decent the patio is a comfortable place to wait. They have private rooms for celebrations or corporate events. read more

I've been a TopGolf member for about a year now and I firmly believe this is a great way to spend a weekday evening. First of all, they have a promotion going where you can have unlimited TopGolf for $15 when it's 50 degrees or below. All I can say is, "I'm there!" Secondly, their staff is awesome. Everyone is so friendly from the membership and rental people at the front to the wait staff on both playing levels. They have food and beer menus; some beers are available on draft. Shiner comes in a can, though. Their food is impressive for a driving range. You can't go wrong with the mozzarella sticks, nachos, or quesadillas. Something I tried (and I was glad I did) was the Mushi... DELICIOUS!!! The sliders are also a favorite of mine. If you ever get the chance to play in the executive areas, I would highly recommend it. They are completely blocked off from the wind and climate controlled, you have your own waiter, and it's right next to the ball machine. read more

Summary first. Good fun, nice place, friendly employees and well stocked for food and drinks. Odd bathroom setup downstairs. I brought the wife for a date with our toddler daughter making three. Once you're setup with a room, an associate comes to explain the venue and let you know that your server will be coming soon to take food and drink orders. Then you can start teeing off and having fun. There are multiple games you can play but the most common is drive to the colored zones for points as marked. Highest score wins. The server was polite and prompt, for our orders right. Drinks are priced at the level of a nice restaurant. When your time is up, the machine notifies you and then the server asks if you'd like to extend. If not, tally up and tab out. We did an hour, it was fun. Would we go again, maybe so. I took my team to Top Golf for a day out of the office to have some fun. We started with lunch, which was okay. The food was good, but the service was very slow. Next, we played 18 holes of mini-golf. The course was in need of some TLC. Some of the greens were covered with slimy brown water. And, there was no fun obstacles like spinning windmills, for example. Every hole was simple and there was no creativity. Lastly we hit the driving range and this was the part we all enjoyed the most. It was fun, even if some of us were no good. Although, it was a little frustrating when the screens wouldn't switch to the next player. We had to get assistance from the staff, but we had to wait and the timers didn't stop counting down. A word of advice...don't order the blueberry crumble unless you want to have blue lips, tongue, and teeth. The good thing about this place is that it is very affordable. Lunch, including dessert, mini-golf, and driving range was less than $300 for seven people. read more

Finally made it out to this place. Went with a group of 7. One person in the group has been here before and he has one of the membership cards. He talks to the guy at the desk and we get our name on the list. Was told it was going to be a 45 minute wait. No worries, they have a bar. We grab an open table and order some drinks. 15 minutes later... we get the drinks. There was a live band inside the building, and they were pretty good. Only problem was that it was incredibly loud so we had to yell at each other, and the waitress, to have a conversation. About 30 minutes after we checked in, they texted me to tell me that my bay was ready to go. We head over there and start to set up the screen. It is similar to a bowling lane, as in you put in the players and you have skip people and adjust scores and yadayadayada. Little did we know, every needs a membership card to be able to play. That's $5 each. So pretty much everyone in the group goes back to the front desk to get a card. We get back to our bay and we quickly find out that you can only have 5 people playing at once. Real glad we were told that. So 3 of our group are girls so they just share one slot. No problem. The ball dispenser is automated, and works about 80% of the time. The computer is Windows based, and crashed 4 times during our games, and the dispenser completely broke once. The maintenance guy added 15 minutes to one of our cards to compensate us. Meh. You pay for your bay by the hour, and you get unlimited balls and games. You pay at your screen so you don't have to go anywhere, so that's cool. The lack of being informed that our group couldn't all play, the very long delay to get drinks, and the constant technical difficulties are why I docked the place 2 stars. my friends and i wanted to have a good afternoon having fun at top golf. this didnt happen. we were told we had to wait for about 60 minutes and then our bay would be open. but our bay took an extra 30 mins. we were told that we needed someone 18 or older to sign up for it. we got one of my friend's fathers to do.it. however, we werent told that we needed someone who is 18 or older to actually play. so we really waited around 1-2 hours just doing whatever. so thats why i am writing this. i know i couldve looked it up. but they didnt tell me. ans they dont have any good reason why we arent allowed to play. 1st time here and the customer service was absolutely top notch!!! I had quite a few questions and they helped me everything :) Since we arrived a little after 12:30 on a Saturday they were already on a small wait time (20mins) but it went by super fast! Two full-service bars, plenty of servers so you're never waiting around to order and it's very clean there too. It was 95 degrees out but with all the fans, misters and shaded sitting areas, you could not tell whatsoever. The food was mediocre (ONLY reason why I gave it 4 stars). I got my first Top Golf experience in today and it was quite the treat. It was really my first foray into anything Golf, so I probably can't speak from a "Golfer's Perspective". But from an ordinary guy's perspective who wanted to go wack some golf balls, this place is great. Top Golf is more or less a glorified driving range for the gamer in all of us. It operates much like your usual driving range, except you're aiming at targets that earn you points in a competition with your companions. We got there around 11am and were immediately assigned a stall for us to play in. This surprised me as I'd heard from buddies all week about how busy the place is. When we were leaving, there was a massive line so I now understand why they said that. We played for two hours and loved it the entire time. We're both fairly new to the golf thing so we chopped a few but it was good for a laugh. We did a little better than we expected so that was nice. The stalls are nice with comfortable seating and two personal televisions, one that plays a sporting event and another that operates as a large scoreboard for your stall. Rather than getting a bucket of golf balls like most driving ranges, these stalls include unlimited balls that are electronically dispensed when you're reading to play. I can't give enough credit to the staff for the excellent customer service we received from everyone. The people at the front desk were great, offering plenty of advice when we mentioned it was our first time. We ordered lunch while we were there, both of us getting the TG Sunrise which is a Burger with bacon and egg on top of a grilled patty. The burger and potato wedges were both pretty good and our waitress was really nice and prompt. My only complaint was what seemed like a lack of organization. We were given a particular stall when we paid but when we got to the stall, it was in use. When we mentioned it to one of the waitresses, she told us to just select an open stall. We found one right away so it wasn't like we lost out on anything. But then three different parties came along during our time playing with the same issue, us being in their stall and being redirected to another one. Everyone got to play instantly so it wasn't really an issue. But a little more organization and knowledge of what stalls are in use would've been nice, just to avoid the confusion. All in all, this is a great place to have a few drinks and have some fun with friends or a date. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get out and try something new. And just to let everyone know, they also have a huge Putt Putt course next to the driving range that is great for kids. We decided to play one of the courses before leaving and enjoyed it for the most part. Not too difficult but there are some trickier holes that keep it entertaining. Attended a business function at the Audi Suites. We were able to find a parking spot because we arrived early about 6:30p, but when we left at 9:00p, cars were circling the lot and fighting for our spot. The game was very fun, but as a first time visitor, we had to figure out the game rather than someone helping us... which is what we would expect at a private suite party. For instance, after a game round, a ball will not dispense and you have to end game and reset to a new game. We had an appetizer spread, which was good, but not fantastic to fill everyone up. The TopGolf staff picked up the food with an hour and half left of the party and told us to order off menu. The service was attentive, but the drinks could have been a little colder on such a hot afternoon... which brings me to the last criticism on just how hot the suite bays are. The small fans were not effective. We realize it is an outdoors area, but there has to be a way to make it more comfortable, especially for a private suite area. For those not attending a private suite party, make sure you reserve a bay and start early. It was a fun time for all. read more

Not accurate, but awesome. One of the first things I looked for before I moved here was golf courses. And during my search, I came upon this place - "TopGolf". It sounded awesome and I was finally able to go here yesterday with a friend of mine. We had a blast! TopGolf is this big facility with mini-golf, batting cages, and most importantly: the two-level driving range with the trackable golf balls. It took awhile to get signed in. I had a gift certificate that you print online, and there's no barcode or anything. It's this long string of numbers the guy had to punch in, and it just wouldn't work. But anyhow, we both finally got signed in. For $40, you get a "lifetime pass" which is a credit card thing with your name on it. It comes pre-loaded with $50 on it. The card is like a re-chargeable credit card just for TopGolf. My clubs aren't here yet, but they have a ton there for you to borrow. You get a full set. They're a little beat up but they work fine. We were assigned a bay up on the top floor and got to work. Online, they said there are different golf games to challenge each other on, but that wasn't the case. We didn't see anywhere on the display or instructions on different golf games. Also, the instructions are wrong, because it shows a certain way to setup the golf ball, which is different than what you have in front of you. Also, the instructions talk about "twist-tees" which are like adjustable tees, but they didn't have that either. You buy your golf balls from a machine and take it to your bay. You load them into a plastic tray thing and when you want to hit a ball, you have to drop the ball down a little chute that drops the ball on the mat. That's how the touch-screen by your table knows you're about to hit. Did I explain that right? Each bay has a bar-height table with 4 chairs and a small touch screen. There's also 4 spaces for 4 bags of golf clubs. Anyhow, we just started hitting, and the screen shows that you've got a ball up and after you hit it, assuming it fell into a target, you get points. It's not clear how many balls you have in each "String" - it's like bowling - 10 frames per string - but here it's like I don't know - 20 balls maybe? Then the game "ends" and you have to start over. If you forget to drop your ball down that chute, you get no points, and that happens a lot because the setup kinda stinks. It's easy to forget. The accuracy is terrible. You can hit a 9 iron, and have the ball roll 200 yards, because the driving range is like concrete. The tees stink because they're that rubber thing that get worn down real bad. The accuracy is only OK if you hit a ball right to a target and it doesn't bounce out (that happens). I hit a 7 iron straight to a target 135 yards, and that was dead on how I usually hit it. But many times, you hit a ball, and it just goes on forever. Sometimes, we had balls go into targets, get no points. So, I know I'm complaining about the accuracy, etc, but it's not about that. See, behind you is a bar. And waitresses come around all the time. Bloody Marys are the thing to get here, and inside you'll find a free "bloody mary bar" - you can add all kinds of stuff to your bloody mary - spicy sauces, cucumbers, celery sticks, bacon. Yes - BACON. It's like breakfast in a glass!!! The bloody marys by themselves are pretty weak. I had 3 and didn't even get buzzed. Maybe I drink too much. Anyhow, the people working here are really nice, the golf, while innaccurate, is still really fun. It was a cool day out, and they had these overhead heaters on - that was great - felt like summer. Top Golf was pretty surprising. This review is only about the Top Golf Academy aspect of the business - I had a lesson with their senior instructor Mark this week. There seem to be tons of other elements to the complex - mini golf, batting cages, sports bar, etc - that I will have to try another time. The lesson was pretty good. I have had several lessons through the years and was looking for a tuneup before a tournament the next day. Top Golf Academy has some really fancy shmancy video technology that allows you to examine your swing dynamics immediately and also use side-by-side analysis against pros to see what you are doing right and wrong. Mark was really easy to work with, gave me simple, actionable tips that I was able to execute, and helped me get ready quickly and easily. Additionally, if it is your first lesson, you get a really nice price discount (that is in line with what you would pay at any local golf club). Finally, they send you a web link a few days later that give you access to a video put together using video from your lesson with swing tips. I would definitely go back - good value and some really helpful instruction! read more

First time here and definitely won't be my last. This place is very modern and airy. From the check in station you have a view of the driving range. First off, they charge a one time $5 members fee and from then you chose your playing times based of half hr increments. It ranges from $10 (30 min) to $20 (1 hr). There are a lot of friendly people to help you if you're clueless, like me. If you're left handed, they give you a special set of clubs downstairs. We chose an upstairs station. I love the decor and view! They had chairs and tables and even couches. This would be an amazing hangout place with friends! I loved that they had fans and heaters that you control! We ordered drinks and when we went to pay she waived it, idk if it's free or if she's didn't want to ring up our 1 dr pepper, but hey, I'm not complaining! :) They even had a batting cage and mini golf and there is even a lounging area downstairs with life size connect 4 games! I had another terrible experience with charges and our final bill. I was charged twice for the same bill and never received a follow up on itemized billing. I had to call them back again to get the billing correct. They told me it would take 5-10 days for money is back into my account. It's been 2 weeks! Trashy place and very bad location! Fun place. I've taken groups here, my 8 yr old daughter, or gone just by myself. It's like a super glorified driving range, darts, and bowling all in one. The balls have a microchip in them that you hit into targets on the ground and they register your score. (Driving range/darts) The bowling aspect is that you have a lane (tee off mat) with seats and a table and a scoring monitor. Servers come by and they have full service bar and restaurant. While the food is mainly sports bar/snack bar type fare, it's actually very good. I've been surprised several times how good it is. There's several different types of games to choose from so it doesn't ever get boring. The also retained the old 3 course putt putt and batting cages from what used to be Scotty's golf park. I think you can play as much putt putt as you want for like $6. It does get very crowded on weekends so come early. It's best when you can just walk out and choose your own stall. I recommend one up stairs in the middle. This is where the bar is and where the servers have to go to get your drinks. The less they have to walk, the better and faster the service... They've started construction on their newest location up in Allen. It's behind the new Allen Event Center and Villages at Allen. Can't wait cuz I work up in that area. I went to Top Golf last week to put in some time for batting practice. I had never been to Top Golf, and I'm really excited to go back and try the Top Golf game - it looks like a lot of fun. The batting cages were fun and cheap, but the customer service was terrible. There was a punk kid in the trailer handing out the tokens, and I've never felt so upset from an attendant before. Look, I understand not everyone LOVES their job, but at least do the business some decency and pretend to be nice and care about people. The guy didn't look at me once, never smiled, and when I asked him questions (I had never been there) he acted as if I should have known everything. It was my first time there and I told him that right away, and he was a complete jerk the whole time. By the end of the night (and dealing with the punk four times) I went and talked to a manager. Now hopefully either that kid is gone or he has a smile on his face next time. Aside from the rude customer service, the prices were great and we had an awesome time. The game of golf and a computer had a baby, they named him TopGolf. If you've ever been bowling, the setup is similar, except you're not getting used shoes that may have foot fungus. When you show up you check-in, and once your lane is ready, you'll find that there is a state-of-the art kiosk where you'll see various games to play with your family. Each golf ball is equipped with a chip that, when hit into a target on the range, is registered on the kiosk, rendering points. During the day, you'll see families having a good time at TopGolf's putt-putt course or batting cages. In the evening you see a younger crowd having fun and drinking. Each lane has a waitress who brings drinks and food to fuel you while you play. Recommended dish: Wing Trio (appetizer) If you plan on drinking a lot, purchase a pitcher or bucket of beer. Unfortunately this place doesn't offer a happy hour, however, the golf lane is half price until 6pm. Staff was very energetic and friendly. read more

Golf - an expensive and boring "sport' that has ever been created.....until TOP GOLF! In truth, I personally do not oppose the idea of golf being a sport but I do know many that do. ToP Golf offers conveniences from the beginner to the hard core enthusiasts of the sport. There are two levels to choose from so that there plenty of bays to use. A bowling type of theme is used at this establishment. What does that mean? There is a microchip placed into each one of the golf balls. Before you begin trying your luck at knocking the ball, you place it through a scanner that ID it to your personal profile to keep track of where the ball lands. Out on the green there are multiple targets, depending on which one you hit, that will be your score. Along with the multiple ways of trying to learn the sport of golf comes the multitude of great food and drinks provided. The staff will provide wonderful services in a timely manner to help make your visit enjoyable! I've lived in Dallas, and had my first time at TopGolf... it's amazing. no joke. I'm now addicted for sure. Here's the thing: I suck at golf. But I'm GREAT at TopGolf! They have a lot to offer as far as fun is concerned. They have lower/upper level golf, batting cages, putt-putt, and they create fun. The food is decent for a place like this. It's not amazing, but it's definitely not the worst. The service is great for the most part, and they also have large conference rooms for business meetings and such. Good to know! Now, the one complaint about this location is that the ball dropper (uh... not sure what it's called. Sorry 'bout that) is manual, not automatic. One of my friends told me that the location in addison is automatic. Just swing your club in front of the monitor, and it drops the ball. Awesome. Gotta check that out. So I'm now "subscribed" or whatever they call it. It's a membership thing. I recommend it. And prices are reasonable too! Go here on a nice day. Swing the club and smack some balls. read more
