Just left after finishing half my drink, it's so bad I rather leave half a drink and cut my losses. The bartender actually told me the recipe for martinis is vodka, vermouth and olive juice. The martini that I ordered not dirty came back light green, it was sent back and then a drink with some particular specs of something in the bottom of the drink. I asked the bartender what all that was, they said it was residue from the olives. Funny all the martinis I've had before with olives never had that residue, interesting. First time at their 'new' location, but been there when it was in Uptown. Standard sports bar. I would say the service is pretty attentive on a Dallas sports game night (weeknight). The server kept coming back to make sure we were ok. There actually wasn't that many people surprisingly. They have wings, salads, and burgers. I opted for cheese quesadilla ($13 or so). Apparently there is a chicken option, but that's not stated on the menu at at all. It was pretty filling. Depending on how hungry you are, you could split it with someone else. The vibe might be dependent on who is playing. But there wasn't anything crazy since Dallas team was losing. read more

Been going to Christie's since the early 2000s at their uptown location! Back then it was in a dark / stodgy office building and the new digs on Greenville are quite the upgrade! The food is general bar fare and is serviceable and the drinks are not fancy usual bar drinks -- don't expect a fancy cocktail here! But the rooftop is outstanding and the team working here always does a good job. The patio out front at street level is also super nice! I'd recommend this spot for game watching or people watching during a Friday or Saturday night. All in all, a welcome addition to the hood from a long time dallas staple!!! read more

Okay, this place rocks it!! The food is outrageously fantastic! It is officially a sports bar which you do not think of as having great food. But Christie's breaks tradition: homemade tortilla chips - great weight to the chip - holds the salsa without breaking but not greasy and still full of flavor. The Cajun chicken and shrimp rice bowl is delicious. Have to try the mozzarella stuffed onion rings!!! The staff and even the owner were awesome and attentive. Definitely coming again!! read more

Amazing sports bar! In a amazing location, in the heart of lower Greenville with actual parking options! Now that is rare. Went with a big group for happy hour and we're able to watch the World Cup because there's plenty of tv and the best commodore. We got a bunch of appetizers that were super good. Try out the wings and the mozzarella sticks you won't be disappointed. Service was great as well, quick and attentive. This will be where we're watching games from now on. read more

Really dark inside. There's indoor, bar, and outdoor seating. Patio looks to allow smoking. The wings are really good, they come with ranch, celery sticks and carrot sticks. The burger on the other hand was just ok. The onion rings on the burger were kind of mushy and the onion inside was really thick, not really cooked. The meat was also kind of off the texture was just...different. It does come with waffle fries which are pretty good. Parking is limited to street parking, but I think everyone in Dallas knows to expect that just about anywhere. read more

Anyways, I ended up at Christie's Sports Bar... I think it used to be Slater's 50/50 once upon a time, but they opened a few weeks back. TV's everywhere, good music, and a diverse crowd. Okay... I like this. The GM seems like a cool dude; very active on the floor, but out of the way. You could tell buddy wants to make this work... and it will. To make a long story short and short story shorter, I got the Grilled Chicken Club with no tomato. My go-to, and the safest play available when you're not in the mood for chips and queso. FYE-UR (Fire). Haha if you want to catch a game or grab food around a solid group of people, definitely stop by. Went here with a few friends hoping to have a good time during the day and was racially discriminated by their bouncer and kicked out for absolutely no reason at all after being there for 45min. Service was so terrible that I didn't even get a chance to receive my food which were only appetizers to begin with and was almost as if they didn't care. Restrooms were also disgusting and was told that if I didn't like it, to go outside or another place. Will not be returning here and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! read more

Pretty sure I got scammed by the guy there since his station supposedly wasn't working so I had to be charged from a different station and it had NO indication what I actually ordered. The food is always great and drinks are cheaper than next door. Patio is dog friendly as well. Only down side is the bartenders aren't consistent. Some are great and others are more worried about being on the phone or talking amongst themselves. read more

This is the place to be on gamedays- it has a ton of screens and lots of energy from fans. The drinks are average, but the service is very attentive. The only downside is that the line can be a bit long, and it can be challenging to get a table. With that being said, the waiters have offered to get our friends through the line once we did have a table. read more

I have been to Christie's a few times to watch various sports games. The last time I visited I took a closer look at my receipt(attached). There is a cc service fee and the tax is higher than it should be. Bill total prior to tax is $26.48. $26.48x1.0825 = $28.66 The bill totaled $29.00 $26.48x1.095 = $29.00 Christie's is overtaxing by 1.25% If this has gone unnoticed for an extended period the overtaxation could be in the tens of thousands if not the hundreds. This is extremely unethical. Edit: your policies on service fees violate laws in Texas and those mandated by various credit card companies. How do you explain the explicit overtaxation? read more

Sports bar with tons of TVs so no matter where you are in the bar you can watch the game(s)!!! I did find it weird though that considering both the ALCS and NLCS were on that neither game was being played over the speakers, just loud music blaring in my ears! They did have the AC turned up so it was a nice temperature considering it was packed that night. We were confused when we walked in, since it was our first time, because no one met us at the door for seating. The bartender also didn't ask if we wanted any food/menu so we weren't sure if they were still serving food. Drinks were good, strong! There is free parking just around the corner so it was nice not to have to fight for parking, valet (tips welcome). There are also other bars and restaurants in the area so plenty of other places to walk to if you wanted! read more

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Pretty much just a bar for young people who want to party recklessly. The place is extremely dirty, toilet in the bathroom was literally overflowing and the urinals were all broken as well. Food is alright, service is slow and paying feels like a shake down. I went to meet a friend after work about 5 o clock. You are supposed to come in and seat yourself, I assumed that since it was early and fairly quiet that we would be seen immediately, that wasn't the case, we waited for about 7 minutes (real minutes I timed it because you know waiting minutes feel longer than actual minutes). We looked at the menu to our surprise they don't have happy hour drinks. We paid about $10 for a drink in a tall slim glass that was mostly ice and hardly any liquor. The waitress again left us for a long while to figure out what we were going to eat. Both of us ordered burgers, it was a burger, nothing to write home about but you know when you go to a restaurant that has tons of options nothing is going to be amazing. Anywho dinner went on and when it was time to pay the waitress took our cards ran them in front of us and stood there while we paid. It felt like a shake down, her service was slow, and I was still going to give her 20% anyway but the fact that they run your card in your face and stand over you as you choose the tips feels like they're trying to intimidate you. Also, fun fact, the machine automatically defaults to 30%.....30%!!! I saw the server roll her eyes when I chose 20% instead of the 30% and to be honest with you that 20% is because it's customary, not because she earned it. Anyway, would I go back? I guess if I wanted to be somewhere to watch the game and be around people. Would I go back just for the food and service? Nope. read more

Came here to grab a few drinks and food while the NCAA games were on and I was waiting for my AirBNB to get ready. The place is very dark & grim. The drinks were average. I had tequila drinks and they weren't very strong at all. The service was not good at all and that was probably my biggest problem with this place. It was extremely slow,our waitress didn't check on us often,the forgot some of our food,and whenever we did ask for something it once again took so long that we didn't need it anymore. Then when the food did come up it wasn't like it was the greatest of food. At best the food is just about at average. We are so glad to have Christie's join the neighborhood. We needed a sport's bar with great energy and delicious food! Amber was a very attentive, sweetheart of a server and gave us everything we needed...refills and ranch! Chris checked in to make sure all our food was perfect! We had the wings, which were delicious crispy and covered in flavor. The lemon pepper was my favorite, but for a spicy kick try the Christie's signature sauce. I had the Texas burger which was juicy and loaded with toppings. The fries were crispy and had a seasoning that reminded me of the wingstop crack. My guy had the spicy crispy chicken sandwich. It was a huge chicken breast and very crispy a dry rub that added a great flavor! At the end of our meal, one of the owners Jordan swung by to make sure we enjoyed our meal...which we did! I usually don't go to sports bars because I'm generally not into sports, but a friend of mine wanted to watch a basketball game, so I tagged along. We got seated right away, even though the bar was packed with fans watching the game. There is a pool table in the back of the bar, so we played pool while watching the game. It's a pretty laid back, typical scene for a sports bar with lots of TVs on the walls. I got the Christie's mule, although it was basically the same as a regular Moscow mule. read more
