If I could give half ratings, it would be a 2.5. Parking: surrounding businesses have signs that warn you not to park there unless you're their customer (or get towed). Lucked up on two parking spots on the side of the restaurant. Staff: could stand to be friendlier. They ID you at the front. Bouncer was ok. Waitress near the bar seemed like she didn't want to be bothered too much. The lady who came to check on us was very nice. I liked her. She made sure we got the drinks we needed (but after that we didn't see her). Music was super loud. There's pool. Games on certain tables. Food: meh. My friend got some kind of hot dog. Bread was hard. Chili tasted canned. Hot dog looked funny. She did NOT force herself to eat that. Fries and tots are a la carte at $4 extra. I came on the first Saturday of CFB. Was so excited because this is my favorite patio bar in Dallas and came with a group of people who went to different colleges playing. The owner sits there wearing an Arkansas polo but is refusing to put any CFB game on other than Ole Miss. Claims that he's running an "Ole Miss bar" aka DADDY'S MONEY! Absolute loss of business. If you're a foodie and know the difference between organic farm beef and grocery store beef then you know what's up. Steven was so hilarious, he was most def the best server. Came to celebrate a birthday. After brunch we came to get a drink and thought this place would be good. Bartender was RUDE and acted like she had no desire to be there. Two in our party ordered Chiltons. Being from Lubbock where this drink was created, we know what a Chilton taste like. Their chiltons were not good. When brought up to the bartender she asked if we even knew what a Chilton even tasted like. 25% gratuity automatically added to the tip. We saw one other server twice "maybe" then had to go to the bar to find the bar tender woofing down fries and making TikTok videos. When we closed out there's a %25 gratuity added to all bills, no notification given and I didn't see signs that apparently are posted. Servers didn't mention it, why would they, they have no incentive to give good service because they're getting tipped %25 either way. But if you're ranking this style of burger in Dallas, Peak Inn and Keller's win if you're just considering nearby. The drink prices were decent (given the bartender didn't have a "heavy" hand). HOWEVER, I am completely disturbed by this "delivery fee" for a dine-in tab. It was whopping 25% of our bill. No one told us about it and I had to ask several follow up questions before the staff admitted that this is an automatic gratuity. I'm sorry but the service was not deserving of a 25% tip! It wasn't terrible but to give customers no choice and no warning is petty theft. It has potential but smoking is permitted at a place where kids and pets are welcome. Use to love coming here last summer, had a couple friends birthday parties here in the fall and they always were nice about it. At some point this year, they decided to become a restaurant too. Can't say anything about the food because I didn't try it, but I saw my friends food the few times I've gone recently and it looked pretty fire. My complaint is that this was a perfect hangout bar with good pricing, however this is no longer the case. The problems all started sometime when the bar went under new management or ownership. Myself and a couple friends went across the street for dinner (had no clue LG was considered a restaurant now) and we met up at LG afterwards for drinks like we ALWAYS would in 2022. About two minutes into us arriving, a dude walked up to us and said "i'm not trying to be a dick but i need to see your ID's" which is fine, i get that part, but the guy clearly was new and instead of telling us that things had changed I had to walk all the way to the restaurant we ate at to get my ID. Once I got back, he was continuing to harass my friends saying nonsense like "You guys have to order drinks or food if you want to be here, this isn't a playground" Keep in mind we JUST walked up the the patio tables and put our stuff down. Very different experience from the last 20 times I went before. I hope that management sees this and think to themselves that maybe they are the ones with the problems that can easily be fixed with kindness instead of trying to blame other people for there thoughts. read more

Walked around lower Greenville to get something to eat and this place caught our eye. The front patio was really cute with the turf and TVs for watching sports. The inside was dimly lit with colored Christmas lights on the ceiling making for a cool dive bar feel. The back patio was expansive with several TVs. It seems like a great place to watch football. We ordered the burger and patty melt. Our server asked if we wanted tots or fries with it. We asked if they came with the burgers, and she replied yes. When our food came out, we realized the "tots" were not tater tots and instead were little potato wedges. I wish that was made more clear because I would have gotten fries. The restaurant uses the handheld machines so when I asked for the bill I was told we owed approximately $43 and asked if I wanted to use the same card I originally gave to start a tab. I was shocked since we only got a burger, a patty melt (which was supposed to come with fries/tots) and 2 waters. I was sure we had the wrong bill. When I looked further, the tots did not come with the sandwiches and were $4 each (maybe the server did not know or was new) and there was an automatic 25% gratuity. I usually tip 20% when I go eat and felt an automatic gratuity of 25% for two people seemed excessive, especially since this was not disclosed to us before. Nice setup inside, Pool Table, tables and seats. Nice, clean outdoor patio out front and spacious back patio. Jenga and cornhole games in the back. The patios are dog friendly. The crowd this place attracts is friendly and have good vibes. The best part of this place is the service. The bartenders are always attentive. This has been a consistent experience. Me and my wife visited Life's Good during our recent stay in Dallas. I must say everything was on point! When we walked in, we were greeted very warmly by the host. After selecting a table where we could enjoy the basketball games, our server came and took our order. I ordered 5 tenders and fries. The peppery taste of the wings was divine and the white gravy set it off! The tenders we very filling and the fries were fried perfectly.
