The long-awaited opening of Topgolf in NY is finally here AND it's on Long Island! We had never been and were looking forward to the evening. They were pretty busy when we arrived on a weeknight around 6 PM, so I would definitely recommend reserving a bay in advance as our wait time went from 15 minutes to 60 minutes very quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful even despite that escalation of our wait time. We went to their bar area to grab dinner while we waited. When our bay was ready but we weren't finished eating, we were able to add 15-30 minutes to our "wait time" and finish our meals. The food was very good, and it exceeded all of our expectations. It came out fast, hot, and tasty. I would eat here again. The golfing aspect was great, better than I (a non-golfer) expected. It's a great setup to sit, eat, drink and take turns in a little bit of friendly competition. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be coming back (and making a reservation beforehand)! read more

Top golf is a great place that golfers and non golfers can enjoy. I love that the area actually has some development and Long Island has something to do. The staff was nice. Only got a picture of the wings.... Lol, rest of the food came out and they inhaled it. I was able to reserve a bay 7 days before the date I wanted and reserved with no issues. Note that the reservation fee does not get applied to anything. Just pretty much let's you skip the line. We reserved for 8pm on a Friday night, Bay was ready on time and very clean. Check in process was smooth. We had 2 lefties with us so they brought lefty mens and woman's sets out. There were 6 of us and we stayed for 2 1/2 hrs. Celebrated my husband's birthday which was very cool, we got the injectable donut holes. They did not rush us which was very nice ams service was very good. read more

Had a really great time at this place! Super easy to make the arrangements. I reserved a bay in advance and got a text when it was ready and where to go. Never had to wait in line or talk to anyone. We were super happy that our bay had a fun couch so we could chill. We got some drinks and appetizers. The pretzel bites were really good. Even though we are not good at golf, we had so much fun. Pretty pricey for an hr of fun but my son enjoys it. We've been there twice and both times we had fun. The place is clean and you don't need to worry about social distance, since all groups get their own booth and table. Food is decent. The pizzas are our favorite. Sometimes you can flag down a staff right away and sometimes it takes a while for someone to come by. I wish they would collect the balls that are closer to the bottom row players faster because they get in the way when little kids play. They also should look into an online appointment system. Its always packed and in order to get on the wait list you have to drive there and put your name down. Last time it was like a 2hr wait so we ended up driving home and then coming back when it was our turn. It would have been nice to just drive there once. read more

Came to this location as a party of 5 to celebrate a friends birthday. Since we did everything online prior we did not have to go to the desk at all we actually could walk right in and go straight to our bay. Unfortunately we got the bay at the very very end on the right 2nd floor. We immediately wanted to change it since it felt like we wouldn't have a good experience and an actual chance to play correctly (it was very narrow and off to the side). We ended up changing our bay just three or so tables down and it was better than the first so we took it. For drinks we ordered a bucket of beer which you can mix and match. We all also ordered a cocktail 1 spiked pink lemonade, 2 top golf teas, 1 Moscow mule and 1 Sangria. To eat we ordered chips and chicken dip, and Buffalo chicken, as well as shrimp tacos and chicken wings. Food was good but wings could've been crispier. I do wish they had another tortilla option for the tacos since I really dislike corn. Our first server Luke was great, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. Unfortunately his shift ended before we left. Our next server was Katrina and she wasn't as friendly as Luke and very abrupt. Her first interaction with us was asking us if we were leaving? :/ She ended up apologizing to my friend and explained that she was just doing her job and although they understood it still left a bad taste in my mouth personally I didn't want to hear it. The facilities were pretty clean, and there were a bunch of games to enjoy, but service is really less than stellar. I'm not sure if it's because of the way the bays are set up and staffed, but even during slower times, no one was really attentive to our table. Most of the drinks I have tried were really good. The food is truly mediocre. I wish they put more utensils, napkins, and hand sanitizers around on the bays, since so many people come through and use the store's clubs while drinking and eating. If they could improve their service- be attentive about taking orders, refilling, troubleshooting- and the food, it would be a nicer hangout. read more

Finally hit the Topgolf on Long Island. I made a reservation for $30 for a Saturday night. This is just for the reservation it does not get applied to your time at the venue but it is needed The place was clean and warm. Very crowded so having a reservation was important The golf was great. We really enjoyed ourselves. It was easy to set up and to add time etc The food was ok. I had the nachos was a small portion. This was my first time going to a top golf. We had a very fun time! We put ourselves on a wait list so that once we walked in we were able to grab a drink at the bar and go to our bay. Bar/food area is very large, if you have to wait longer you have plenty of space to eat and drink. It was in the 30s when we went and we were nervous we might be cold but with the heated lamps it was perfect. Our waitress was very friendly and constantly checking on us. We order pitchers of beer , wine , mixed drinks and they all came out quickly. We had the pretzel bites , nachos and chips/dip. All pretty good. No way to guarantee you get a good bay, even with reservations well in advance. Food and drink are priced at sports stadium levels. $5 fee for first time visitors which is a thinly veiled scam. Bays often experience technical errors (every time ive visited out of the 5 or so times Ive been there) that requires them to call a professional and it wastes 30-45 minutes of playtime which they rectify by giving you a measly extra 20 minutes. I have come here a few times and I have a great time everytime. I will say overall service is okay every time I come they tend to take some time to get food and drinks out sometimes servers have disappeared for a while this time our server was great she was super sweet and kept checking in on us. We did come as a small group of 12 people with 2 bays next to eachother so that might have been why. It's a fun time but I wish it wasn't so specific with the time. Once your done they want you out to put the next group in. There isnt much time to just relax after and 2 hours with 12 people flys by. Food is great I have always enjoyed munching on all the apps and drinks are always good too. A pitcher of beer is probably the best deal they have. If you come with a small group of about 4 or less you have more time to play but it can get pricey if it's just 2 people. This was my first time at a Topgolf experience and i have to say it was a really good time. Luckily through the app you can add yourself on to a wait-list so you don't have to hang around onsite for over an hour. We went on a Saturday so the wait for an upper level was very long so we opted to play on the lower level bay which ended up being a better opportunity since we had a little one with us and it was safer that way. However if you're a newbie I think if you can get an upper level you'd have a slightly better time ( I think you can get a little more air lol). We ordered a bunch of food for the table to share and it was really the best way to go. We had wings, macaroni bites (really good), and the tres tacos. I think it's a fun experience and great for a group outing. The bays were clean, the seats were comfy, service was great, and my group had a great time. If you are looking for a casual pace if play, bring 6 people or so. The weekday deal till noon is pretty good price for practice range too. If you want you real distances go to the bottom floor though. The food isn't special but it's decent. The drinks are a shining point. The pitchers have cooler cores to keep the beer cold through multiple pours. On a second visit, I had a bailey's hot chocolate. It was hot and stayed hot. A bit too sweet probably for most but I liked it. 9.50 for Bailey's in the drink was a bit more than I expected though. Will keep going. read more

I was super excited to spend my birthday here and be able to have that Topgolf experience. Topgolf gives off such a cool, clean, fun appeal - it's huge and the bays are comfortable with the couches and very spacious. My friends and I had such a fun time. The service was not as great as I was expecting unfortunately. One lady came up to me before the event and told us she would be able to check in and keep us in track of making sure we stayed on track with our food budget (since we spent $670 and $250 of it went towards food and drinks). Granted we didn't realize how easy it would be to spend $250 btw 12 people drinking and eating, but she never came back to check in on us regarding the price until it was the end of our reservation and she told us we went about $500 over lol. Also the margaritas they were serving us in our bays tasted completely different than when we were served at the bar and when we asked about it - nothing really changed. The food was delicious and the happy birthday that they gave me was super cute. My experience was not great. Our server rushed us and some of the items we ordered never came. When they brought our bill they charged us for the stuff that never came to us and upon request to take them off,our server "If you are paying,does it matter?" We asked to light the candle on our birthday cake(not even cut and serve it) and he refused. He rushed us out because he had to clean but it's felt as though he was kicking us out. We ordered two shots for the group in a short amount of time and when we tried to order a third later, the server said the bartender refused to serve another shot. The golf part is great, book online get a text go to the bay and start hitting. The service is pretty bad, complete toss up. First time there no one came to instruct our group on how anything worked, few times I found myself ordering two beers at a time because the servers just don't come back. They rush you out a half hour before the times up to pay the bill, we even had our bay cleaned while we were still in it with time left. At sixty bucks an hour I'm probably going to wait until summer when new help is hired before returning or stick to the cheaper morning sessions. read more

This was my third time at a Top Golf and my first time at this location. I think it's a great spot to do something with friends on the weekend, which we need more of in this area. My husband and I made a paid reservation for the bay for a Saturday late afternoon, but I don't think we needed to do that as some bays were open when we arrived. We booked a day in advance, as well. All the night reservations were taken, which was surprising to see, so if you're interested in coming with a group of friends at night, I suggest booking in advance. We only got drinks, which were as good as they came. The server we had was very friendly and attentive. The course and game felt smaller than the other locations we've been to, but it didn't pose as a negative. The clubs felt cleaner than the other locations, which was refreshing since they're being used all day. Overall, I'd definitely come again with a larger group and at night. read more

Long Island finally has a Topgolf! There isn't much to say really; Topgolf no matter where you go will be a super enjoyable experience. I for one am probably the worst golfer in my friend group, and still have a great time! Whether you're a pro or have never picked up a club in your life, you're there for the experience not just the "golfing" aspect. The bays in which you sir are spacious and private, and the touchscreen used to initiate the different games are intuitive and responsive. Service is extremely friendly, however I recommend reserving a bay as walk-ins may wait upwards of 2 hours. The bartenders are quick, the waiters and waitresses are organized and knowledgeable, and the general staff all look happy to be there! The food is top notch which is to be expected as it's basically a restaurant, and the drinks they serve are fair in price and really good as well. Overall a group up to six will always enjoy a night here, and you won't have to completely break the bank to get the most out of what they have to offer. read more

Big Fan of Top Golf even though I cant golf to save my life. So much fun such a great place to come with a big group or on a date. Its a beautiful location with two big beautiful bars one upstairs and one downstairs. The staff super friendly and fun. The food was pretty good too! The nachos are different from traditional nachos but I enjoyed the crispy cheese on the edges of each chip. The wings had great flavor but needed to be a little more crispy will def ask for them well done next time. Cant wait for my next TopGolf visit :) Only complaint I have is that the bathrooms need to be attended too every stall completely out of seat covers. read more

Cool place with good food and drinks. I've had lots of fun both times I've been, and service has been slow but friendly. Biggest downside I saw was beer pitchers- definitely a rip off as they weren't fully filled, and we got just over 3 beers from a pitcher, so it's actually cheaper to order individual beers. Our pretzel nuggets came out instantly, they were a little stale and the cheese had a hard layer on top.
