Interesting experience here. We came as a party of 4 for LI Restaurant Week. Upon arriving, we had to specifically request the special menu and they only had one copy available despite the restaurant not being busy at the time. We got seated at a pretty small table and asked if we could move to a larger neighboring table and they told us no, that it was reserved for another party (which either was inaccurate or they never arrived because the table sat empty for the two hours we were there). The waitress (a teenage girl dressed in our opinions too scantily, which apparently is the dress code for employees here) did not know the menu well and had to return to our table to ask one of our party members how to spell the drink he ordered because she couldn't find it in the computer (note: it was a very basic spelling/pronunciation of a drink). We were incredibly nervous about placing food orders after that confusion, but fortunately all of our orders were accurate. We came here because I wanted to try the Cap'n Crunch chicken which was a disappointment because it tasted like regular fried chicken. The rest of our food was good, and decent-sized portions. The place was pretty busy and there was to be live music. Something happened though, because the band only played one song and did not resume after that during our visit. The country music played in lieu of the band was quite loud, along with the busy restaurant, so the ambiance was soon a bit loud for my taste but overall good for business that there were so many people there. There were also TVs playing sports during our visit, and I found that many people were fixated on that instead of their dining companions, which I find disappointing in humankind. I'm not in a hurry go back here because I disliked the busy ambiance and the service wasn't great. The food was good but not especially healthy. It was a unique experience for sure; one my friends and I will not soon forget.

We went at lunchtime on a Saturday and just beat the rush! Our server was attentive and the food was delicious! The place looks the best it ever has. While we were there the owner was checking and fixing any tables that were wobbly. I appreciated that!

Decided to try Daisy's in Miller Place for restaurant week. So glad we did. We were greeted by the hostess who showed us to our table and provided menus snd specials. The restaurant is quite nice with a real country vibe. Good country music of multiple decades and genres plays in the background. I tried the buffalo cauliflower bites with Jack Daniel's peach sauce, It was amazing! Hubs had the dry rub wings snd loved them. For my entree I had the country fried chicken and cornbread waffle. Oh my ... so delicious! Hubs loved his steak frite and fries. So much to bring home as the portions are huge and I was full after my appetizer. But ... there was dessert Dessert for me was a baked apple crostata that was over the top delicious I had to finish it( I am stuffed). Hubs had the Chocolate Chip Cookiepalooza and it was outstanding. Our first visit will not be our last visit. Looking forward to trying other menu item

This place was very lively. They had a band playing that was pretty good and it was packed. I do think they need to figure out the standing room as I got bumped into while eating dinner over two dozen times. Over all the food was pretty good but I will say our appetizer was pretty small for the price.

Driving through the parking lot, this place caught our eye, so we stopped in. They have another location in Patchogue as well. When we walked in, we were immediately pleasantly greeted by 2 Hostesses and seated. Very nice, spacious, clean restaurant. We sat at a table up the steps behind the large bar located at the center of the restaurant. Our friendly server came over and took our drink order. They had several Menus including specials, drinks, Happy Hour and the main menu. We started with Happy Hour appetizers of Pigs in a Blanket and Chicken Tenders. Both were excellent. The Pigs were wrapped in a puff pastry. For the chicken tenders, we chose the Jack Daniel's Peach BBQ glaze. My husband chose the Sirloin Steak dinner and I had the Shrimp and Grits. His steak was perfectly medium with a baked potato and spinach. My shrimp were delicious in a glaze. The Grits were cheesy and creamy. Served with slices of andouille. Server was quick with observing the need for refills. Overall great experience. We will definitely be back as there were several menu items we were interested in trying. The TVs on the walls were framed and looked like pictures hanging.

Long Island finally gets a good Nashville Style bar! My wife called her bestie and we agreed to meet at Daisy's Nashville Lounge for dinner and drinks. My wifes bestie is such a sweetheart, she works hard and when it's time for the weekend, there shouldn't be any issues. It's my first time here so lets see what the hub bub is all about. It's Saturday night and the place is jumpin'! There's a live band playing, the place screams fun! We walk past the packed bar and are seated at a nice booth in the back. The menus are also set up for fun, lots of great cocktail choices. My wife chose the Fig & Honey Martini and I chose a Georgia Peach made with Deep Eddy Peach Vodka, Iced Tea and fresh squeezed lemon. We all make a toast, the ladies are sitting next to each other and catching up. I'm trying to talk to her boyfriend but the place is really loud so we made the beer hand sign and started drinking beer after I finished my cocktail. I'm looking at the menu and the starters look really good. Items like Crab Bisque, Cap't Crunch Chicken Strips and fried pickle chips would have been my choice but bestie choose a big ass pretzel before dinner. It's actually called "Big Ass Pretzel", I didn't say my wifes bestie has a big ass! C'mon now. The B.A.P comes with two dipping sauces, it was actually pretty good. When I go to Nashville, I am getting Hot Chicken! Wanna know something, this menu is balanced and there's no shame in my game. I ordered a salad called the "Chopped Southern Fried Chicken". It wasn't spicy at all and the chicken was brined and fried. Deelish! Here's where I knocked off a star. The food came out first and no Big Ass Pretzel?? Daisy... After we mentioned it to the waitress, the B.A.P arrived. Bestie is happy, all is right with the night. The music was jumpin', the pretzel was big and bumpin', the only thing I noticed? No one was dancing. In Nashville, everyone is line dancing and having a good ol' time. Long Islanders? No one was bustin' a move. It's too bad because the live band was a lot of fun. Here's my recap: Really good food & drinks in a loud but fun setting. We really couldn't have conversations because of the loud music. I'll come back, I really did enjoy our night.

We have been to Daisy's in Patchogue, and thought it was really nice, but this Daisy's in Miller Place is awesome! We made reservations for a party of 10 on a very busy Saturday night. When we got there the place was packed. The guys went to the bar to get drinks and came back surprisingly fast considering all the people at the bar. As we were waiting for our table I observed all the servers carrying food and drinks to tables, weaving in and out of the crowd, all smiling at us and saying hi, while taking care of their many tables. Once we got seated, our server was not only extremely nice and friendly, but she was so great at taking all of our orders, and being patient with 10 people asking her questions, sometimes all at once! Our food and drinks came out pretty fast, considering the amount of people in the place, and our server made sure to keep checking on us and bringing us everything we asked for very quickly. She was really amazing, and I wish I remembered her name! The band they had that night was also great, and even though they didn't play all country music, everything they played was awesome. I have been to Nashville and I have to say that being at Daisy's, looking around at the decor and the crowd, and the amazing music, I felt like I was in Nashville. The owner did an amazing job with this place, and the staff is not only the best, but you can tell they really enjoy working there. We will definitely be back!!

Eat Unique Indeed…read more We were famished for something brunchy this past Sunday, and were looking at different places to go to. Went to the Watermark, parking lot was inaccessible, seems people don't know how to park over there. Even the street spaces were full. We headed further west, Flying Pig was closed down, we had been to Crazy Beans, then a quick Google search pulled up a spot we'd never heard of before. Pulled up to a strip mall where BlackSheep was located, nice big parking lot as expected. Walked in, and we were the first ones there. The place smelled fantastic. We sat ourselves and perused the menu. The server came by and enumerated the specials, but I was fixated on Braise your Belly. We also got me-mah's mac and cheese, and started off with the Roasted Garlic Northern Bean Dip and the Minestrone soup. The Bean Dip starter was fantastic. All the little things you need for a perfect bite. A scoop of bean dip on a toasted pita wedge, stick a couple of kalamata olives on the bean dip mortar (3 olives were too much), add pickled red onion and fire-roasted peppers, then top with crumbled feta. Amazing bite. I had a taste of the Minestrone, and it was excellent. Flavors were all there without being overdone. The pasta was nice and cooked just right. The mac and cheese was perfect. I couldn't put my finger on the cheeses used, but it all came together nicely. You didn't just get a mouthful of one cheese flavor. It was creamy, balanced, and the crispy onions on top made it really nice. and the stunner. I am a big fan of pork belly, and this really piqued my interest. Served with lemongrass grits and pickled veg with a soy miso glaze. The pickled veg was tossed in a bed of leafy greens, and I saw some seaweed salad in there as well. A little bite of the grits topped with the salad was amazing. I've never had that combo before. A little tart, a little salty, nice umami, I could have eaten a bowl of just that. However, when the pork belly came into play, everything changed. The crisped, lightly charred crust on the fatty slices of nirvana by themselves were perfect. Cut a piece of it and lay it on the grits-salad bite, and you can feel your eyes roll backwards. I wanted to, and almost ate it all, but I left a slice for my girlfriend and topped off her little bit of mac and cheese that she wanted to take home. Half an hour in, and the place pretty much packed out for a bit while they were doing a healthy amount of takeout/pickup orders. The place is pretty simple: interesting Black Sheep art, with mostly little tables, plasticware, and a drinks cooler. The food can certainly be right at home in a fancier and upscale setting, but doesn't need it. They had one server, and she was delightful and attentive to everyone. The chef came around and asked how everything was, which I find is always a nice touch. Definitely coming back.
