We recently came here on a Friday girls night out after dinner and had a nice time. They had mango white claws on special so I was hooked. It is a smoking bar so if you're not a smoker beware. They have dart boards and pool tables. There was a DJ who began around 9pm? Not exactly sure of the time. The male bartender was very nice and we had excellent service. I did not see a whole lot of social distancing but if you're concerned about that you probably shouldn't be in a bar anyway. Servers were wearing masks and we wore ours upon entry. It's not a fancy place but it was fine and runs right down the middle of fancy versus dive bars I've been to. Shots were reasonably priced. read more

They did remodeling ~ still stinks of cheap beer. They don't have any high end liquor or single malt scotch. A real let down to the community. Yes, you can still have your clothing saturated with cheap cigarettes- a 5 min drink will kill your lungs and your clothes- nastiest place in Lake Mary! read more

Pretty decent dive bar. Pool tables, check. Respectful crowd, pleasant, attentive and cute (h/t Kali) bartenders. Wings were plentiful, crisp and sauced decently. Anti-smoking zealots stay clear. Numerous TVs. Bourbon selection is limited, but you can at least get some Knob Hill. Surprisingly clean. Ample parking. TVs were conspicuously devoid of sports for a sports bar, but pretty sure, on request, you could get some local game. Solid drinking establishment for a very reasonable price. read more

I haven't been here in years, since they had Tucher on draft, half a bar, darts, and pool. I'm no local but with a few kind words, they treated me like a celebrity. Cheap beer. Strong drinks. Friendly service. read more

They need to open a window (maybe a porthole?) in this place before everyone inside ends up in an iron lung. The smokeyness has already been mentioned ad-nauseum in previous reviews, but it really cant be said enough. This place reeks! I come here often with a group of friends to play darts, but the first thing I have to do when I get home is throw all the clothes I was wearing in the washing machine (not in the laundry basket, that's a rookie mistake) and take a shower. Otherwise, I'll wake up in the morning with a pillow that smells like Don Drapers couch. What do you expect? It's a dive bar, and the price is right. Still, it's so stinky, I dread coming back. My kingdom for an air purifier. read more

Love this local bar. The bartenders take good care of you and the atmosphere is GREAT! They are renovating and have made some good improvements. I have made this my "go to" place! I saw a review about it being smoky.. One improvement they have made is the fans and smoke-eaters. Not so smoky anymore. read more

Is you would like to leave a bar smelling like anything other that cigarettes, this is not the bar for you. Drinks are fairly priced, but no real deals here. Okay place to hang out for a few, but don't make a night of it. read more

Haven't been here in ages, but one of my friends recently told me that he doesn't like going here because of the smoke. I guess nothing's changed since that's how it was when I used to come here every once in a while. Not sure if there's much here that's worth noting; I don't even know if they have food of any kind. Probably a decent spot as a last resort if you're trying to catch a drink late one night or a football game on a weekend, though you can do better by going to Cheers in Lake Mary. read more

The bartenders in this place rock! Big shout out to David, Jen, and Angie! These bartenders rock their stuff and set the bar high! Can't post enough positives about them! As for the bar, yes you can smoke, "awesome" but not overwhelming, great ventilation system. I was in town for 4 nights and spent 3 here. This place is terrible. I'm new and town and it's the closest bar to where I live, but after coming here and only here for a month or two.. it's not worth it. You reek like cig smoke & the bartenders are SUPER petty. I watched them over serve some people and then not only get very angry that the people were too drunk, but then the next week, they SHUNNED them and refused to serve them even after they apologized. I mean, the guy shot a few spit balls.. lighten up, you shouldn't have over served them. C'mon, you work in a bar, people are going to be assholic's sometimes but it's part of your job bc they're likely tipping hella well. The open mic night is not too shabby if you don't mind singing with a lung full of smoke. read more

Easy 4 stars if it was not for the smoke issue, it really is bad. Other then that it is a decent bar with decent prices. It is your local watering hole. Depending on who is working, the service ranges from excellent to " HEY I have been waiting for my drink for 20 minutes". The owners are really nice people and I have had the chance to meet them. If you are looking for a local bar to pound a few drinks down then this is the place. read more

Imagine a large square iron dish with a mound of steak, chicken, shrimp, and pork belly with a bunch of vegetables like sprouts, onions, bell peppers, and garlic. Four kinds of meat all cooked perfectly, multiple kinds of veggies all cooked perfectly the rice was kinda basic but it didn't matter! For our anniversary they also gave us a complimentary caramel cheesecake that was also really good and let us taste their house cinnamon pisco...Fire! in a good way! Shanon is a terrible bartender. Creates a toxic environment. She is a racist bigot who can deny service to someone ONLY due to her impulsive emotional side. Had no logical nor problem solving skills. Pure irrational, illogical behavior. I pity the owner. Shows he bows down to others, has no business approach, and will let even the lowest of the low command him. Get rid of that BS bartender... My husband and I have not been to downtown Sanford but recently did come for a friend's birthday. She wanted to hop around different drink spots and have dinner. Since we carpooled, parking was better. We were able to find street parking. There is no designated parking for this spot. We got there very early and decided to stop here. We ended up coming back later with everyone but we enjoyed it. This is a small bar with standing room only at the bar but then they have a huge back area with lots of bench style tables and seating. Their drink menu is also very large with tons of beer options to choose from. They offered a wide range of beers, craft beer, stouts, ciders and more. I am not a huge craft beer fan so I struggled. I ended up telling the bartender what I like and he had a couple of suggestions. He also let me sample one of the ciders, which I ended up getting. I choose the Cider Boys Strawberry Cider. Really great, not overly sweet just very tasty. My husband loves craft beer and will always look for one with a high ABV. He went with the Voodoo Where our Secrets go Stout Imperial from Pennsylvania. It had a high ABV and was a dark beer, he really enjoyed it. Both times we sat outside. The second time we came over, was later in the evening and more full than the first time. They also had a musician singing, which made it extremely loud and very hard for our group to chat. Overall this is a great spot. If we lived closer I could see us coming here more frequently. We do not find ourselves visiting Sanford a lot but if we are in the area, we would for swing by again. If you live closer, I would highly recommend coming here for the vibes, the ambiance and the beers. You can also bring your dogs which is a nice touch. My only negative is there is not food to order. I would love some bar snacks or pub style food. You can bring your own food in but it would make this an A Plus if you they served food.
