This location was recommended by a few friends so maybe it was a bad night but I was not a fan. Our bartender seemed extremely disinterested. He took an ridiculously long time to make 3 drinks. Then when he was done he was giving our drinks to the group next to us. We go to pay and he walks away only taking my one friends card. Then starts making more drinks with her card in his hand. That was another wait to get our cards back. The decor was really pretty and the crowd had good vibes but two other women came up to us to complain about the bartender as well. It seems they were too busy taking shots to care about their patrons. Our drinks sucked but it was a pretty place to sit and chat with friends. Like I said, Ive heard good things about this bar so hopefully it was just an off night but I won't be rushing back to try again. I gave an extra star for the decor and the good vibes of the other customers.

The menu was great - I settled on the flatbread which I highly recommend especially if you love honey drizzle on pizza crust. My friend ordered the salad which was gorgeous and fresh. We finished off with the churros. Everything was delicious. I can't wait to return and recommend to friends.

Girls to chat, eat and drink. They're happy hour. Selections cannot be beat whether it's libations or bites. Service here is super friendly and attentive. They are also very helpful when deciding which menu item to choose. The enthusiasm from the servers hostesses and bartenders regarding their food and drinks is just as intoxicating as their drinks. Between their steak entrees and their seafood entrees, you have your work cut out for choosing what you're going to be munching on at the Osprey. If you're in the area and wanting a great dining every experience at a reasonable price than this place is definitely worth your while.

Made a reservation for 7 p.m. Arrived a bit early and had to kill some time at the bar, as they were only seating on-time. I ordered an espresso martini, which looked more like a shot than a cocktail. It wasn't great. Not the right consistency. Weak color. Once seated at our table, my party of 3 ordered 2 apps. We all agreed the Ceviche was the most bland we have ever tasted. Served sans lime wedges, which might have helped, but not much. The Crush Puppies were also meh. Rather small portion that appeared to be fried a bit too long. The other cocktail I ordered from their bar menu (grilled cheese and pickle one) was again miniature-looking. Our entrées were a step up from our apps, at least. I was very disappointed that my top pick, the Cioppino, had just sold out. Guess that was a popular dish on Mother's Day. My daughter's Truffle Bucatini had a satisfying flavor. Service was fine. The hostess, however, wasn't all that friendly or helpful. The interior is nicely styled and has an upscale feel with verdant plants tucked here and there. The central bar has an enticing vibe. Overall though, it was an expensive outing that failed to impress us.

Service was quick and really nice as we decided to sit outdoors instead of inside. My dad wanted every seafood item in the menu but I was in the mood for a really good cheeseburger , fries and salad and babyyyyy 10/10! The menu offers plenty of options, and while some items were enjoyable, others felt fairly standard and didn't stand out from what you'd find at a typical neighborhood pub. The service was friendly, though there were a few delays throughout the meal that made the experience feel slower than expected. The restaurant has a welcoming vibe and is a good place to grab a drink or watch a game, but the food didn't quite match the high expectations I had going in. Overall, Blue Jacket's Gastropub is a decent spot for a casual night out, especially if you're looking for a laid-back atmosphere. While I enjoyed parts of the experience, there wasn't anything that made it particularly memorable, and there are other gastropubs in the area I'd likely choose first.
