Horrible service. Completely unaccommodating. Party running late and they have availability however they will not move our bays due to their "system". I've been to a few top golfs and this one isn't as updated as others I've been to. It's not as nice looking as the pictures make it out to be. However, the staff was extremely nice, they got us in super fast without a reservation and wait staff was very quick with our food and drink. I recommend just sticking with appetizers because they're tasty and shareable where the entrees are just subpar. The golfing was awesome though! The machinery ran very efficient and golf clubs were clean and easily accessible. The establishment as a whole was very clean. If you want a more quiet putting I recommend going between 10-3. After that it gets very loud and busy. It's also cheaper the early you go. But be careful! Costs add up quick and your bill could be in the triple digits in a couple hours depending on when you go and if you get food! Parking is very good! read more

There is a reason they are all over the place! You can come on a date and have a great time or you can come as a big group and have a great time. The people are always nice, and your overall experience will almost always end with a smile. As for the food, it is American, bar style food. Most things are easy to share, which is good for groups. We had wings(regular and boneless) and we had guac. We had chicken and waffles, and we had queso. My favorite were the buffalo wings. They had just enough spice and they were tender, while the bonesless wings were actually meat and not just a whole bunch of breading. A BIG complaint was the queso though. When I order skillet queso I expect it to come out HOT...like steaming hot off the skillet. We ordered it and it came out cold, so we sent it back. They brought out another order, but the second time it came out cold AGAIN. Then another table I was with (we had about 25 people) there's was cold also...WHAT??...BE BETTER GUYS, that's NOT ok. The reason they get 4 stars instead of 3 after this atrocity is because the experience itself was absolutely fabulous, but dude I'm still blown away thinking about it. Topgolf is quickly becoming a Nashville staple. I like to go on Tuesday's where playing is half off. As someone who sucks at golf, paying half price totally justifies going for me. I've been on the first and second floor and I saw some people complained about the first floor but I honestly loved it! It certainly had nothing to do with the fact that I hit multiple balls so poorly that they just travelled a few inches and I was able to easily retrieve them with my club... definitely not! I've never actually eaten here since the menu is pricy but they have a wide range of snacks and food. There are heaters at each bay with three settings. There's currently plastic between each bag which made me feel safe and a little more privacy. The parking lot is also huge which is great. You may encounter a wait on a Tuesday night, but they often go by way faster than you're told. We were told 15-20 minutes and we waited about 2 minutes. I recently took my dad and we did 30 minutes and it was just under $15 which was a great deal. This is a great place for groups, but the larger your group is the less time each person has to play. read more

I've been to a few Top Golf locations but this one in particular the most. Though I'm far from a quality golfer I always have fun. It's the kind of place that works well for novices and experienced golfers. The set-up is great too as even on rainy or hot and humid days it stays pretty cool and comfortable in the bays. It is usually a busy place but if you're patient you can usually get a bay before too long. There's plenty of parking and a pretty decent music venue on the back side that is owned and operated by the TG (The Cowan). I've yet to eat a full meal here but I always here good things. The drinks are always great--the bloody mary is made well as are the other cocktails, there's a good selection of draft and bottled beer, and the finger foods are solid. My only real complaint with Top Golf is service never seems to be a priority. I always see multiple staff members milling around some of which I am never sure what their job is and some of which never check to see if you need anything. I've yet to have a server stop by to take a drink order in under 20 minutes of arrival at a bay--since a lot of folks only choose the 1 or 1.5 hour time slot that's a lot of sales they're likely missing out on. After you get your first order you have to flag them down to request anything else. The servers are always friendly, just unconcerned with checking to see if you want anything. Perhaps they should have a buzzer or an "order from table" option? Other than that, it's always a fun time. read more

PLEASE PREPARE FOR HORRIBLE SERVICE AND LONG WAIT TIMES!!!!! A week before we came in to town we tried to make a reservation and they said they can't do that and it's walk ins. We came in & they said an hour and 45 mins. Well an hour and 45 mins later they say maybe another 2 hours. So we decide to wait because they needed to get us new food due to how cold it was. We had a 9 am reservation for Top Golf. The employees were awesome. They were ready for us 10 minutes early, explained everything and were there anytime we needed anything. We had family from out of town so this was a nice and fun family activity. We had champagne and build your own juices. The only thing I found bad about the place was the $5 membership charge per person. This is an extra charge on top of the bay rental and food and drinks. My out of town family won't be back to play so it was an unfair extra charge. I give them four stars because of the additional fees. read more

This rating is an improvement. After my first trip to Top Golf, I was pretty determined to not ever come back. As is described in far too many of the reviews on this page, the service was horrible. Not one person with whom I interacted (or observed) was friendly, kind or gracious. I didn't take it personally as everyone around me had a similar experience. Again, I know the Nashville service industry is going through a rough patch but management has got to stay on top of these problems. An nasty staff will drive away customers... which will tank your business. So, yeah. Mean. Nasty. (Unfortunately) typical of this TG location. I wasn't coming back and I was alright with that. Fast forward to a recent Sunday night and the party I was with didn't want to go home. We were in the general area and no one (except for me) had been here so... here we go. I didn't tell anyone that I'd had a not-so-great time here before (I didn't even review it) so the expectations weren't skewed. We had... an alright time. Coming off a terrible time, that's a win. I still experienced AWFUL service at the main floor bar (eye rolls, sighs and minimal spoken words) but the upstairs bar was a much better experience (friendly, talkative bartender who, although busy, realized that a smile = good tip). On the main floor, we sat in one of the hitting bays. I wasn't in the mood to hit balls* so I sat at the table, sipped my drAnk and made commentary. Wanting to maximize my dollar, I went with the Mai Colada. The description described a mix of two rums, orgeat, pineapple juice, lime juice, a rum floater, and a popsicle. I know I got the popsicle. I didn't get the floater. I'm unsure of the rest. The drink was boozy and my friends were having a good time so I didn't want to rock the boat. After the game, most left but my buddy wanted one more drink. Unwilling to go back to the mean bartender, I suggested heading upstairs to hang out at the open air bar. This was a better call. The bartender here was nice, the air was surprisingly decent (not humid) and the people watching was hilarious. For my upstairs/outdoor drink, I went with the melon cooler. Vodka, St. Germain, cane sugar, lemon juice, watermelon made for a crisp, refreshing drink. I think there was a cucumber component (it's in the name and the drink is green) but I might be making that up. I left Top Golf slightly buzzed (rideshares FTW all the time!) and in a good mood. This is a win. The bar may be low but when things have been BAD in the past (just look at some of the lower-starred reviews), I'll take a win where I can find one. Great bar, great food, great service, and an awesome job with the golf driving range. I was there last weekend for a Fantasy Football Draft. Emailed them a few weeks out to set this up and they were great to work with. Emily updated me early and often helping us with everything we'd need. Lots of power for our laptops, great internet bandwidth for timely activity with no lag. The draft took 3 hours, and the package deal was great: included pretzels, chips n salsa, wings, and flatbread pizza. And a dedicated server, ask for Erica, she was awesome. Then afterward it was a couple hours of competition in the golf "lanes". Most of us don't really golf, but was still a lot of fun. If i could improve one thing would be the event room. It was set up like a corporate conference room, kinda formal and stuffy. Maybe people like that, and if so, then maybe just me, but sofas and large low tables to put food and drinks on would be a bit better. I've been here three times, played once. Two times were for meetings, one time did not include golf and I had places to be, one time did include it and food but absolutely nothing there I could eat, and once I went with friends. Friends, we played, the tee was so busted it was not usable. Finally got that sorted out after wasting twenty minutes or so with the balls just falling off. When we got a replacement it was somewhat ok, but we were stopped by thing after thing. With five or six people we managed to play about one and a half games in an hour. It was fun, but my experiences have been, in this case, above par I guess. Cool concept, when we had a working tee was great, didn't get credit toward the crap tee we had. Meeting food was, meh, I know who they're catering to. So didn't hate it, didn't love it, probably would like it if the equipment was in working order, beer decent, food if you want fried thing. I was so excited when topgolf finally opened! It's a great place for date night, an afternoon with friends, or time spent with family. It's essentially like going to the driving range to hit golf balls, except that you're aiming for targets to earn points. I have no experience with golf and can hardly swing the club without taking out a piece of turf, but i still had a blast. This is a great activity for anyone, regardless of experience. I've always been fairly impressed with the food. The mushi is like a burrito cut into "sushi" rolls, which is pretty good. I also love their tots. The downsides are that the drinks are really weak, and between food, drinks, and golf, it can be an expensive outing. However, I'd definitely come back for a special occasion! read more

The bone in Top Golf wings were DELICIOUS and I actually enjoyed the driving range although my back hurts now. Worst service ever. Cassie the manager was very disrespectful and unprofessional. The bartender made us sign in (four people) and after putting in our info, we were notified that we were too intoxicated to pursue our night further at top golf. None of us had more than 2 drinks and we also had a DD who was completely sober. Our friend who brought us here has spent a copious amount of money at this establishment, yet ended up looking like an idiot when the manager made a premature and ignorant call when it came to identifying drunk people. I will not be attending top golf anytime ever again and I hope they take the time to really identify who's having a good time and who's too intoxicated to participate in the fun-friendly environment they fail to promote. read more

Highly recommended by many folks, I took my family of five adults and we loved it! I'm not a golfer by any means, but I had fun. The smile on face lasted hours. Fun golf games, great food, and a nice bar. There is so much to review and comment on, so, here it goes. As a hack (having played only 2 par 3 courses in my life), this old timer (62 years old) with a bad shoulder, I had a lot of fun with one of those golf sticks in my hands. There are targets to aim at, each at different distances. Electronics are built into the ball, which scores you. So I would toddle up with a pitching wedge and aim at the target 25 yards away. My son is much more experienced. The thing is that I was competitive score wise. Even though I was a hack, I did not feel like one. You can come here just for the restaurant and bar. You do not have to golf. They also have concerts in their own 300 seat "theater". They get good bands, from what I could tell. Servers bring food and adult beverages to a table behind the tees in each bay. The food was excellent. We ordered a lot of appetizers and shared them, so I will review each. For a limited time, they had a Farmhouse Flatbread. This was a crusty bread with all kinds of great stuff piled on top of it. Arugula, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, sauce and cheese were perfectly balanced. Wonderful. From the standard menu, we ordered the Macaroni and Cheese with Bacon Spring Rolls. I'm used to Spring Rolls that are not fried. These were like fried egg rolls and were yummy. Nice cheese sauce and it was easy to pick up and eat. Grilled Chicken Wings were probably the least favorable. While having a great flavor, they were a tad dry. The hit of the food was the Jumbo Pretzel Platter! This was a pretzel that was about 10" in diameter. Inside the pretzel was all kinds of other yummy goodies. Prosciutto, sausage, alcohol marinated fruit, cheese sauce, coated pecans and cheeses were wonderful and a lot of fun to pick at. Waitstaff was friendly and professional. They even all held their serving trays the same way. One drawback is that the place is noisy. It is a party venue. Serious golfers would require quiet to concentrate and develop their shot. read more

Went to Topgolf for my second time yesterday morning/afternoon and I will without a doubt be back. I CANNOT say enough good things about the staff here, particularly Paula. Both times I have visited Topgolf my family and I have been lucky enough to have Paula as our server, and I hope we luck into having her again for future visits. During each visit Paula has went above and beyond to treat my cousin with special needs with the utmost respect and kindness. As a family that spends a lot of time going out together I have grown accustom to watching sever after sever look past my cousin and to other adults in the party to take his drink order and other requests. I have also observed servers be in such a rush that they don't take the time to listen and understand what my cousin is saying when he does place orders. Paula is the exception to this. Despite my cousin being a little shy, each time we have visited she has joked around and started up conversation with my cousin, making him smile and laugh throughout our time there. Yesterday, was an extra special day for us as it was my cousin's birthday. After hearing it was his birthday Paula went above and beyond to make the day extra special for him bringing him a card and a special dessert. Both of these sweet gestures put a smile on his face and made his birthday even more memorable. The patience and kindness that was shown to my cousin is that of which I wish everyone showed to those with special needs!!! Not only was our server great, the food and drinks were yummy!!! If you drink mimosas I highly recommend ordering the build your own (three crafts of juice and one bottle of champagne) with one of each of their juices (orange, pineapple, and cranberry). From the lady who checked us in to the lady behind the bar, we had a 20 minute wait and she made it feel like 2 or 3. But a special shout out to Bri, she was engaging, happy in her work and made us all feel special. It was my first time at a Topgolf and it was way better than I expected. We booked the bay for 90 minutes and it was plenty of time for four of us to get a couple rounds of a fun target game in. Some of us golf frequently and one was a new player and we all had fun. They had a great food deal and we got 4 meals and two apps for just 55 which was a deal for Nashville prices and the food was good. It was a chilly night but your able to adjust the heat in your bay so you are comfortable. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes to golf or who is looking for something a little different than the strip downtown in Nashville. read more

Fun place to get together, eat, and have fun! You don't need to be good at golf to play. Our group got a bay on the bottom level, which I will say is a quite a bit harder to shoot from especially if you don't have as much strength. There are a variety of game options to choose from. Our group chose to play a version where you get points if you make it into one of the netted areas and angry birds! They have an angry birds version made everyone in the group laugh hysterically. This game was more about could you look at the screen and then hit into the real world in the same direction. It made even the better players in our group have to readjust their playing. One downside to this game is that it does not register the ball correctly--you are supposed to get to hit 3 times but if you didn't hit hard enough or hit too low it didn't register. This would make you have to hit repeatedly until it registered or you could not have a turn. Not sure if it was a glitch but it happened repeatedly throughout our game. Staff in the bar area and in the bay area were not the friendliest bunch, but luckily you don't need to interact much with them to have a good time! read more

The service is great once you actually get a berth. Until you do, be prepared for lousy service at the bar and pushy people telling you to keep the lobby clear. Then once we got a text saying to close out our tabs and prepare for a berth, it was another 15 minutes of waiting around. Now once you are situated the service gets much better with someone to help with set up and sign up of the various games. The food drinks are obviously overpriced, but still good. It was very fun to play the game, though telling people not to aim for the ball collector cart is just plain and simple unrealistic. This is Nashville. It appears they've worked out most of the kinks from other reviews. The reservation system is super easy to use online, and they text you a bay number (ours was ready right on time). We had let them know when we arrived we had some extra people coming, so they hooked us up with a larger bay without any issues. We only had two complaints - both related to food allergies. We wanted to bring our own dessert as they did have any allergen free dessert options for some of our guests. When we called in to the topgolf call center (which I don't believe is in Nashville), they were rude on the phone and not accommodating, saying whatever we brought must be from a store w/ an ingredient list. Local shops don't list ingredients on custom cakes/cupcakes/cookies, so this was a giant pain for us. They also said final decisions are up to management, so we may still be denied at the door (ended up not being an issue). Drink service was also a little slow. Our server was not familiar with the menu's gluten-free options and kept having to run back to the kitchen. Later in the night we noticed one of our 4 menus had gluten-free options listed... that would have been super helpful hours before :) Other than the food issues, we had a great time. read more

Made a Fathers Day reservation about 3 weeks out! Arrived early on the day of and were met with very cordial staff who were eager to get us drinks and food. The venue is modern and clean. The wait to get food was long and we never got our silverware we requested so we had to get them ourselves. It was understandably busy so I'm still giving 5 stars because our orders came out correctly. In the bay (3rd floor)the seating was comfortable but unfortunately not too durable as our seat's seams had holes in them. There is plenty of seating although you are limited for 6 per bay. We brought along our 5 year old who had plenty of room also. There are two bar stools and a table at the back of each bay. Food was good and decently priced ($$). Reservation was also decently priced and we had a good time. Venue also offered large Father's Day frames to use as props for pictures. All in all, very satisfied and will return. read more

We are here from out of town so decided to stop by. Our "home" TopGolf is in GA. Nashville TopGolf is much swankier than ours, but not as technologically advanced. At our TopGolf you can track your ball as it leaves your bay, with details about speed, height, arc, etc. You cannot do that here. Quite disappointing. However, the staff is top notch and the food is awesome. The margarita flatbread never disappoints. Be warned though.... on a Friday at 11:30am we still had to wait over 45 min for our reservation. But without a reservation it would have been 2 hours. read more

Top Golf was a really great time. We went with a group of nine, assuming we could have six people playing and three people sitting in one bay, we couldn't. The Top Golf person who helped us said we had to rent two bays, just a little tip if you plan to take a large group. That said, we were able to get side-by-side bays and it still felt like we were a cohesive group. My biggest concern with our Top Golf experience was temperature. We happened to go on the coldest day of the year thus far. I think it was in the 20s? I had read online that the bays were heated so I wasn't overly concerned, but when we got there, it was really cold. Each bay has two overhead heaters: one above the place where you stand to swing and one above the couch. We had them both on full blast but it wasn't enough. I could tell that the heaters were making a difference, but I still couldn't feel my feet by the end of our hour long session. I suggest dressing like you're going to be outside, assume the heaters will help only a very little bit (don't forget gloves). read more

My fiance and I went to Top Golf for the first time tonight and it was amazing! We went for college night to save some money but have a good time and we got so much more. After an hour or so of playing, they held a multiple bay game with a prize and we won! It would've been fun even if we hadn't, though, because all the staff were upbeat and having fun too.
