I had such a fantastic time at Topgolf this Saturday! It was the perfect place to go for my bachelorette party. I had never done it before so I was nervous but it turned out so perfect. It is very easy to play the game and keep up with points and everything. Our server was the BEST. His name was Walter and he was so much fun and gave us great service. He was even able to give me a drink and a bowl of ice cream on the house because it was such a special day for me. Walter warned us that the food usually takes a long time to make it out of the kitchen because they only have 7 cooks for hundreds of people, but to my surprise, the food came out pretty quick! Maybe a 20 minute wait. We ordered food at about 7:30. We played two games in two hours and then we hung out at the bar. It was a great time. Really unique and fun atmosphere. read more

Bartenders were sweating from walking so much but I'm guessing they were concentrated on filling orders for the golf bays because they were mostly avoided eye contact with patrons sitting at the bar. We had such a fun time playing golf and hanging out! It was a Friday at 3:30pm and the wait was 1.5hr so we went over to Germantown for happy hour, after getting on the Top Golf wait list. Staff at TG was friendly and service was OK. The downer was that we brought homemade banana bread to celebrate a birthday. At some point a server came by the table and threw it away. I guess they thought it was trash?? So we were disappointed. Mentioned it to staff and they apologized but didn't really seem to care. That felt shitty. Been here a few times and absolutely love it. Even if you aren't a golfer it's still a great place to come. The only downfall is the wait times for getting a bay to golf. Sometimes it takes a could hours to get a bay, but they have a nice bar up and downstairs to hang out while you wait. Just celebrated our son's 18th birthday at Top Golf. We rented 2 VIP bays for 3 hours. Top Golf set up a buffet with chicken tenders and pork barbeque sandwiches, chips and fruit. The food was high quality and delicious. Our server Katelyn took care of our every need. We watched twelve 18 yr old boys play golf games, & enjoy being pampered with great service. There was time for socializing, game playing , instagram and snapchatting. Perfect venue for this age group. Music was great and the place has a vibrant energy. read more

I love golfing here however, the service is subpar. I ordered 3 appetizers which took 45 minutes to come out. Normally I would be understanding for the time delay on food but there were 7 staff members standing around chatting and no one else in the restaurant. When our food finally came we were given the wrong food and it took a while for them to correct the mistake. I also won free gold lessons in a raffle once but when I tried to contact them to redeem my lessons, no one responded to me about it. I will be returning as it is fun to golf with friends, however, I would advise people to eat elsewhere before or after going to this establishment. read more

My bachelor party paid $50.00 to reserve a lane at Top Golf in Nashville, TN. We are 6 attorneys from Michigan - and it was our first time at a Top Golf. While we were each registering and being advised of the rules, a member from our group grabbed a ball that was ~3 ft on the green to hit. We were advised that we could not do that - and we didn't do it again. We played for 1.5 hrs. 15 minutes into playing, we had a police officer stand behind our group. He stood behind us and watched us play the entire time that we were there. We eventually asked him why he was standing and watching us, and we were told that he was instructed to stand there by Top Golf. There were 25+ lanes playing golf on the level that we were on - the only difference between our group and every other group is that we had a large black man with us. We paid $190.00 to be treated like garbage. I was looking forward to this experience - and it was ruined. read more

Incredible place but very disappointed in top golf's monetization of every little thing. In order to keep score in a group they charge $5 per person. Just imagine if you were charged to put your name on the board at a bowling lane. Just charge me for it upfront as part of the rental. My friends enjoy golf, so I went with them to TopGolf. My experience was mediocre. There's an incredibly long wait (90-120 mins), so they have you leave your cell number for a call back. Through some confusion we got the call back, but they gave our spot away. After another 10 mins, they found us a lane. We ordered some drinks and appetizers and began our hour of TopGolf. When I went to order a second drink from the individual who delivered our food, he informed me that I couldn't order with him, he wasn't our server. He didn't offer to get our server, just walked away. On two occasions I tried to order something to people who told me they couldn't take my order. I think they need a better model. The food was middle of the road as were the mixed drinks. I won't be back to TopGolf. You might enjoy your experience more if: 1) you like golf, 2) you make a reservation or plan on waiting up to 2 hours for a lane, 3) you order everything you want at once, and 4) you have money burning a hole in your pocket. read more

Today I spoke with the Shanelle at Topgolf in Nashville. My son is graduating from dental school in May and I had put a considerable deposit down for the graduation celebration we have planned in May for 40 people. Due to the coronavirus there is the possibility that we may have to cancel or reschedule . The city is shut down. I am currently out of work indefinitely as of yesterday and as a single mom losing such a large amount of money would be a hardship for me. When I called Shanelle this morning I did not know what to expect but she genuinely cared about my situation. Shanelle assured me I would not lose a penny and at times like this there was not need to worry. My son has worked so hard and has done everything on his own, he absolutely deserves to be celebrated. I cannot thank Topgolf Nashville enough for putting my worries to rest and reassuring me that they are on my side and they are Nashville strong. I know Top Golf and it's employees are effected as well and trying to carry on like the rest of us. I am hoping my event can still take place even if it is just postponed. I'm sharing my experience because I believe in the integrity and commitment they have shown to me from the day I began to plan the event in January and I thought should be shared. I will always recommend Top Golf not just for the quality of their food and the overall experience, but mostly for the people who work there. read more

I have to say that this should be 5 stars but the start of our first ever visit did not start off right. We got our cards, out our names in, and headed up to the roof top bar. The waitress was bland but oh well. We ordered drinks, took 15 minutes for our first round. Once they arrived we got our drinks we ordered food except one. Everyone got their food, our other guest ordered his food and received his and still no food. The waitress was taken by the fact I never got food after 45 minutes. I never saw a manager or anyone to explain to me why I did not get food. I would say this was all the waitress because once we got our Bay...DONE. My wife and I were visiting Nashville and we passed by this place and had to stop by. We went on a Monday night at 9PM, so we thought it would be empty even though it recently opened. Wrong! The parking is ample, and we were pleasantly surprised when a staff member in a golf cart offered us a ride to the front! We had to go to the new player signup area and each one of us has to pay $5 just to sign up. Annoying. Then we had to go to another line to sign in for a bay, which was an hour wait! They text you when ready which is convenient. Since we had to wait an hour, we hung out at the bar, which is huge and there are tons of tables. We finally got the text and a staffer took us to our bay. I'd say almost all the bays had at least 4 people (6 max), and looked to be having a blast. There were 3 huge levels. The staffer explained to us the various games we can play and set it up for us and we were on our way! My wife never plays, and I am a weekend hacker, so it is appropriate for all levels. There are clubs there for men and women, 135W, 3579I. Just wave the club in front of the light and the ball pops out. Shoot for whatever target you want and the machine keeps score! Targets are as close as 50 yards so it is suitable for all levels. We bought an hour which is fine for 2 people but I can see if there was a group we would need 2 hours. If I'm ever around a Topgolf I'd definitely be back. read more

Top Golf was TOP NOTCH. I had never played, but my kids had in another city and wanted to check it out in Nashville. Experience was wonderful. The service was exceptional. Our server explained everything in detail, was constantly checking on us, and was friendly and accommodating. When our food took a little extra time, she added a half hour to our golf time. The actual golfing is a blast, even for someone who has never golfed. When our food arrived (the sausage, cheese and pretzel board) it was well worth the wait. Tremendously fun experience, great service, very attentive to their guests. Two things, not a big deal, just to know: the tee height is not adjustable (made my driver irrelevant) and the golf balls do not fly typical distances so it will take a little bit to dial in yardages. One of the worst locations I've ever been too. I bought the platinum membership. It was sold to me as it would be a 200 member cap. They then took it to 250 and now there is no cap and over 300 members. They treat the platinum members like shit. I had several conversations with management. Nothing was ever addressed. I'd be careful of this bait and switch establishment. If I could have got my money back I would have. Unfortunately i paid the year up front with hopes of taking future business clients there. Thanks for ruining my wife's birthday... My wife had wanted to go to TopGolf having heard about it from friends that had gone to other ones in other states. My son thought he would surprise her with us going on her birthday which was this previous Saturday. He checked their site to see if he had to make a reservation and it seemed to point to that you should. He tried calling to make sure but basically got a recording to check the site. The only time available was 9:30 in the morning...a little early since we live about an hour to 90 minutes away (depending on traffic) but no big deal. He paid the 50 dollar fee thinking this paid for the first hour of golf. We get there around 9:00 and there are tons of open lanes. We wonder if a bunch of folks cancelled or are running late. They get us a lane and we try to start playing and then have to get someone because we do not have a membership card. We pay another 5 dollars per card to 15 additional dollars for the three of us. We start shooting balls and having fun but then a lady comes and asks us if we want any drinks handing us the alcohol menu (it is 9:30 in the morning). We say we are here to just shoot but thanks anyway (she does not act pleased). She doesn't get the hint because she is back in another 5-10 minutes and now needs a debit card from us. We ask why and she explains that folks usually keep a running tab. We mention again that we are not going to drink and we have already paid our money...the original 50 and the additional 15 for the membership cards. She insists to despite my better judgement let her hold on to our card. We have a good time playing despite her coming back and asking are you sure you do not want anything to eat or drink many times. Our time is running out and we decide to quit instead of requesting more time. We are then charged an additional amount with the grand total coming to over 107 dollars. My son is just recently graduated so money is precious. I say there must be a mistake and tell him I will go talk to the folks up front. I get shuffled finally to a manager who tells me that the original 50 was only to reserve the lane. She describes it like a fastpass at Disneyland. I complain that this is not an amusement park but a driving range (a fancy one but still a driving range) and my son tried to verify all this before putting any money down. She basically shrugs her shoulder. I paid the remaining amount for my son but the whole experience really ruined what should have been a great present for my wife!! read more

We were disappointed on our recent visit to Top Golf Nashville. We reserved our bay two weeks in advance saying we wanted the 2nd or 3rd level. We ended up getting a ground floor once our bay was ready (30 minutes late). We asked if there was one on level 2 or 3 as we had requested and they said it would be an hour or more wait. So, we stayed on ground floor. Our service was terrible. We kept having to flag our waitress down to get her attention. We finally just started going to the bar and getting our drinks ourselves. We feel like if we go to Top Golf that it should be an overall experience and our bay attendant should be attentive. This was not just our experience but that of several of our nearby bay neighbors who had different servers. Annoying. read more

Quick summary. You must commit to spending money without knowing how long you will actually wait. Team @ TG is instructed to be vague, know that "waits" are MINIMUMS. Do not take kids unless you are there for a reserved event or prepared to entertain them at a bar for 2-6 hours. Its like keeping them entertained at an airport terminal! Detailed version below: Complete Chaos. Went with my wife and four kids on a Sunday, and upon arrival was told it was a two-hour wait. That was OK, we had planned to eat lunch and sat down for an extended meal. Food service was great and the food was really good...so things are solid through the first 1.5 hours. Then the slow drip of disappointment starts...upon checking our place in line, was told we were #34...about another hour. Checked back an hour later...we were #29 in line! ...basically looking at another 6 hours to get on the range! My main beef is that even upon confronting a clearly overwhelmed operations manager with some simple math, they won't give you an honest answer as to when you have a shot of playing! ...he, seeming defeated by the whole process, simply said, "Do you want me to take you off the list?" I get that this place is super-popular right now, and I was obviously naive to think it would not be so crowded...but from the start, you commit to staying (you pay for the round when you check in...so I was in for $70 ("that you cannot get back" according to the cashier), then dropped $110 on lunch (totally cool BTW)...but realistically, upon arrival at 12:30pm, we had NO CHANCE OF PLAYING TOP GOLF before 8:00pm! In the end, I presented my player cards and receipt to the cashier and politely asked for a refund. General manager (who was truly apologetic) came into play at this point and offered to put us at the top of the list, and give me a refund, but I declined...gotta stay principled! In the end, I was given a refund, and told that the funds on my player card would remain available in the hopes of my return. The GM also offered to put us on the priority list when (if) we came back so there would be no wait. I appreciated his sincere efforts to make amends, but felt compelled to warn my fellow consumers before they venture out with dreams of gently arcing 7 irons into the center circle...to be continued? Thanks for the feedback, I believe you truly mean what you say about getting the credit card ahead of time for those that are playing golf in the stalls. In terms of people coming in just for food in the bar, I have to say NONE of my friends have EVER had to provide their credit card ahead of time. So I guess your team picks and chooses who they get credit cards from ahead of time. Sounds like you have a lot of work to do to fix it. Please let me know when it is fixed. read more
