The staff were difficult and had bad attitudes. The manager was especially quick to retort. She did not seem to have customer service in mind. Reservations were placed in advance with a $10 extra charge to avoid the wait. Upon arriving they could not find us a booth as they had them all booked and said "they couldn't find our reservation" In summary the 2 star is mostly for their inability to work with the customer and acknowledge their shortcomings. We went on a Friday night my honey my two daughters and I. We got the second floor immediately which was great because I thought it was gonna be a long wait seeing as it was Friday night. The cashier and staff were very friendly and so was our waiter. We had a great time! There's a one time $5 membership fee and after that it's $45 and hour for as up to 6 players. A nice surprise when our was almost up was that you cab extend 15 min for a certain fee 30 minutes and so on. So at least we weren't restricted to getting a whole other hour for $45. I would suggest doing like a triple date so that you could split cost 3 ways. Seeing as we went with our 8 yr old and 10 yr old there wasn't gonna be no splitting lol. This experience was worth one star but the place has potential. The food was actually great with an affordable and surprisingly robust beer selection. The service however was the worst I've ever had. Essentially we were given a malfunctioning lane and rather than switch us to a functional space we were told "these things happen". We sat watching them reboot the machine for twenty minutes while our server neglected us... stopping by to say "this looks confusing" yet not offering to take a drink order. We suffered through it and had a good time playing. However, when we had 15 minutes remaining on the game our food arrived. The ultimatum began... our server informed us we would have to rush through our meals because we would be kicked out should we choose not to extend. He explained that they need to make room for the next customers, though twenty open lanes were around us. To make matters worse were over-charged on our game by forty dollars. My husband and I took golf lesson here with Gregory Sohl. I never held a golf club in my life but needed lessons because of my new job. Networking and marketing stuff. He was patient and knew exactly how to talk to me. Walking in I felt intermediated and worried about looking stupid. Topgolf was so much fun!! We have been wanting to come here evee since it opened, but just haven't gotten around to it. We came on saturday around 3:00 pm. We said it was our first time and the guest services explained everything very well. There was no wait which was awesome on a saturday. You pay a $5 fee for the card to play. Then its $40 an hour for a booth, which is basically like bowling almost, and there are clubs at every station and balls automatically come out at the tee when you go to golf. Depending on how many people you have with you it can be cheap. Each person has 20 balls they can hit, and after every person playing hits all 20, the game just restarts. After your time is done, they have an area where you can hangout and eat or drink. We did have problems like the waitress dropping our beer glasses and never picking up the glass until after 45 minutes later, and by then our beer got hot. The manager comped everything we ordered so thats why I'm not mentioning it much. Either way I loved it and will definitely be going back!! read more

Whether your an expert golfer or only swing the mini style of golf club your in good hands here at TopGolf. My girlfriends and I came for some sporty girl time. None of us were much for golfing but we wanted something new and fresh and Top Golf delivered. We came when it was a bit slower which I am thankful for cuz when we left the line was out the door and down the stairs. We played the regular TopGolf game after being instructed on how, what, when and where things were. We had a darling of a host who brought us plenty of water, wine and apps. I must say to try the Mushi! It's like a fun Mexican-Sushi. I choose to dip it in queso We had a blast watching the other players next us play (who were really good) while the other group on the other side had a mix of good and novice golfers like ourselves. It was a little nerve racking thinking other people were watching but I got over that and enjoyed myself. The place was clean and wasn't rowdy while we were there so I can see taking my kids next time. I think they had some video game nooks and the bar seemed big and comfy too if that's your thing. Note to entrance and parking-I'd say pay the extra for valet and I thought coming in from the Rim shopping side was easiest but it's tucked away behind new construction if you can find it. read more

I visited Topgolf with 4 other family members, one of which was a ten year old. We had lots of fun. The service was good. Our bartender Andre was polite, prompt, and attentive. Our waitress Michelle at the lane (134) was also on point. While there, we interacted with 3 other staff members and they were all helpful as well. Service: We arrived at 10pm and were greeted at the door, told there would be a 90 min wait for a lane and that only one person needed to stand in line. The line moved quickly. Service at the bar was quick and the drink prices were average. After about 40 min we were called that our lane was ready. We choose the first available option and ended up on the ground level in the corner...boo. Despite the awkward corner lane we had lots of fun. Scene: The music was dope!! While we were there there was a lot of 90's early 2000's hip hop. I'm down with any place that plays Soul for Real followed by Biggie!! The crowd mostly 18-40 year olds with a few older and younger folks mixed in. Price seemed a little steep for but not too far of from other night group activities. What great fun I had and I am not an advid golfer. My boys had a blast. The food was good. They have some good burgers. I would give the sunrise burger a try it was delicious. Overall the pricing was ok. I would consider it on the high side. Definitely save up your pennies for this outing but well worth it. The facility is really clean and the customer service was phenomenal. Saturday is extremely busy. You're going to be waiting on a table for at least 30 minutes around peak times 5-9 pm. I've been here a few times now and generally it's a good time. Anyone can play, golfer, non-golfer or kids. There is an assortment of games to play which vary in difficulty. We usually just play their classic game whether there for work or pleasure. The food is ok. Not fine dining but better than most sports bars which is what I compare it to. Service is also good. One of two things always bring me to a top golf. A bunch of friends who want to be entertained or a long week of work. I can say as someone who's never golfed and this place is a lot of fun. A bit pricey during peek times but worth it if you're with a group. Don't know how to even swing a club? I love this place, it's so much fun. Top Golf is great for all ages and events. It's about $40 for an hour which is much pricier than traditional driving ranges but then again I would not necessarily call Top Golf just a driving range, they have a variety of food on the menu, a variety of drinks for adults and kids. Setting up competitive tracking games are alot of fun and beat just wacking balls for the fun of it. I recommend coming at night because the lights from the range are really cool, in some ocassions they have live music and dj's as well. This place is fantastic, especially in Texas were it's super hot during summer months and at Top Golf you can keep cool. You can bring your own clubs or use the ones there, for being loaner clubs they are not that bad (but if you are a golf lover, bring your own). I recommend bringing a glove and a willing to have a great time because Top Golf will deliver. I have been to Top Golf many times and usually experience very good service, their employees offer an "experience" and treat you like you are their "only" customer. Love this place. read more

Came here for the first time and on an afternoon date with the wife. We both really enjoyed ourselves even thought we are very rusty. The staff was extremely helpful with explaining how the bay works and walked us through the functions of the monitors. Our waitstaff was courteous, however, when we asked another member that wasn't our designated waitstaff, she pretty much cut us off and told us to wait. Our overall experience was enjoyable from the minute we walked in till we completed two hours of play. One bad egg didn't ruin our trip. I tried to stay away, as far away as I can, but what can I say? I have no excuse and I came twice. First time.... I ran, fast ! Second time I stayed, just because I thought I had to get it out of my system. It's not for me, not that it's bad, don't get me wrong but I feel like I'm at Disneyland or Dave & Busters. I get it, it's the it thing to do, but seriously who has time to sit around 3 hours patiently for a turn to hit some golf balls, I can spend my day doing better things. Needless to say if your going to make me wait for you to take my money at the bare minimum make it a good experience. My first problem was the fact that my date didn't have a place to put her purse, this sound like the designer of the place thought about everything other than the hooks that go under the bar. The service was average, compared to similar places like Applebee's and Chilli's. The food took a while, but I can't be over the top picky about it given that it's simply put a chain restaurant. What really grinds my gears however is the fact that once we got to the bay and play.... The machine went out on the 3rd ball. No manager, no maintenance, and my clock was ticking... $40.00 per hour, 45 minutes later the initiative to accommodate me and transfer me to a different machine was made. 3 hour wait 45 minute waste of time And $120.00 consumed I'll just skip the headaches and go to the driving range like a normal grown ass man. read more

This was my first experience golfing, and it was AMAZING! I can't wait to go again! The staff and management were all very friendly and attentive. Everyone was smiling and a pleasure to interact with. When it comes to golfing, the driving range is gorgeous! As it gets later'/darker outside the targets light up. Unlimited balls. There are many play options that make it fun whether you are a professional golfer or have never swung a golf club in your life. Even when you aren't golfing, there are so many other entertainment options. Great atmosphere! Multiple bars, GREAT food, music, X-Box Kinect, pool, shuffle board, foosball, several huge TVs and I'm sure more that I missed. Overall the entire experience was phenomenal! The start of our time had quite a cloud hung over it when we were approached by one of the employees. (I won't out them by name here.) When we started planning our gathering of 18 players we looked online to see if we could make a reservation. Seeing that you can only reserve two bays together I decided I would call to see about reserving three together. During the call I was told I can only reserve on the phone if I am scheduling an event. The advice was to arrive right at opening to be more assured of getting three bays together. We arrived shortly before 10am. The center was not busy at all and even when we left there were still open bays all around us. The problem came in the beginning when we got to the bays. An employee arrived to give us a reservation card and told us we should have reserved the bays. It was explained to her that we called and were advised to arrive early since we did not want to pay extra for required food purchases. (We did purchase snacks, but not the expense that would have been required.) She listened to the history of what we had been told to do. Told us we were "lucky" to have gotten there early enough to get bays together. (There was no "luck" involved at all. It was planned.) She handed my daughter the reservation card and told us very curtly, "Next time make a reservation." It took some time to get past her rudeness. We then have to get her attention and ask if they accept Apple Pay , she tells us no as we are discussing what we were getting to eat and just walks away . Doesn't ask us if she can get us anything or anything else she can help us with . We then have to get her attention again she then takes our order and we waited a good while . We then received our order which she just placed on the table and zoomed off going to eat I noticed she didn't give us any utensils which we have to ask another server for some . The whole time I noticed her in the corner just on her phone . Terrible customer service ! It was about 10:40 when my friend waved her down and asked her if we can get the heater on , that she was cold . Charisma server told us it's not even that cold yet , and she would have to ask the party next to us since the bays are shared . She just walked away and never turned on the heaters nor asked the party next to us . She didn't pay any mind to us unless the 15 minute prompter came up and she then rushed over to hound us if we were leaving already or not . I then told her we already selected what we were doing and she had a attitude about it the whole time. When she gave us our tabs she then stayed around grabbing chairs around us and I felt rushed to leave , she then stared at us till we finished our tabs and asked to take them . Went on Sunday Morning!!! I know everyone complains about the wait.. How about go when they first open, which is 9am. We got there at 815am and not a wait at all walked right in. Had a blast my first time with my husband and dad. My dad was in town visiting and he loves to golf and we decided to take him with us. It was amazing. We have known that it gets busy from the word going around town so we decided to wake up super early and be there in like by 8am and they don't open till 9am. We didn't want to wait around forever and we didn't, we got right in and started golfing right away. The service was amazing! Some of the employees(servers) didn't know everything about the golf machines when we asked a few questions but its alright we didn't really care that much we still had fun. We spent a total of 6.5 hours there! From 9am-3pm! We had a great breakfast at our awesome bay with a couch and coffee table included. I noticed not all bays have the couch which sucks, but Its alright in the end. We also ordered the Starbucks coffee that they had available and water :) then as soon as it was 10am we ordered the pitcher of the green St.Patrick's day beer! Yum! I also saw the Mushi on the menu its rolled up like sushi but its a Mexican style like a burrito! Yummy! Food was amazing! Learning how the process works was super easy! Pick your club, swipe the club to make the ball come out and bam! Play! I had a blast!! Will be coming back for sure!! Thanks topgolf! I was nervous bringing my 6 month old son! But it was perfect! Checked out Top Golf during my lunch break. Food was okay. The wait staff was not very attentive and not too friendly. I got the impression they didn't want to work there or didn't like the morning to noon shift. Tried to play some golf and enjoy some food but service was slow. We decided not to extend our play time. Shortly after that, our waitress politely kicked us out because another customer wanted our spot. We weren't even done eating. The waitress didn't even suggest we dine inside! On our way out the host asked if we enjoyed our time. Flatly, I said NO. Then I told him about what happened. I got a courteous apology but I was on the way out. SO. MUCH. FUN! I've never played golf before and I was a little apprehensive to try this place out but as soon as I walked in I was excited. The layout is so awesome - A driving range with food and a bar! The staff was incredibly friendly. First they helped me set up a player card. Then when our concierge walked us to our bay he explained all the play modes and got us started. Our server was Stefanya and she is super sweet. She greeted us almost immediately and she was attentive throughout our time there. I felt bad because I was being indecisive about my food order but she gave us suggestions and was patient with me. Great bar food: We ordered the pepperoni and sausage flatbread - Yum. We also got chicken and waffle sliders - The jalapeño gravy is LEGIT!! Our signature margaritas were delicious too.
