I love 54th Street! I've been to multiple locations all over San Antonio. This is location and the Stone Oak location have been my most visited locations. I almost always come for their happy hour (4pm-6pm or 9pm-closing.) They have amazing options for food and drinks on happy hour and can't forget the amazing value! I enjoy their smashed burger on every visit and I love their margaritas! Usually the margaritas are STRONG and I feel tipsy after just one! This time, the margarita was very sour and hard to finish.. Ive tried nearly all of their happy hour foods. All very tasty. My personal favorites are the Gringo Dip with Waffle Fries, Smash Burger, Calamari, Fried Pickles, Tequila Wrappers, Chicken Quesadillas, Nachos, and Spinach and Artichoke Dip. Our server was very attentive, friendly, and welcoming. He told us it was his second week and his first time serving. He was amazing. My first time here and I will definitely be back...me personally I loved it here. We were seated in the back room with the big opening in the back and it was a good seat...we had the dinner for two and it was on point, it included two meals...one appetizer...and one dessert. The margaritas especially the mango one was on point...enjoyed our meal as NCAA college football played on all its big TV's. I wish we came here earlier! Loved the decor, very cool and organized look. Whoever did it, mad props to you!! We got the Dinner for Two, options were great. The burger was juicy and amazing. Pasta was alright, I still enjoyed it. I changed it to red sauce, thought it'd taste a little better than plain marinara sauce. Overall was acceptable. Fried pickles, great. Went here for dinner, and while our server was exceptionally friendly and provided great service, the food was disappointing. We ordered the flat-iron steak medium rare, but it was served rare--so undercooked that it was inedible and impossible to cut. The filet mignon was passable, but I've had better elsewhere. The chicken bucatini was another letdown; the chicken was dry and completely flavorless. As for the rattlesnake pasta, it was just mediocre--nothing to write home about. The highlight of the evening was the frozen margarita, which was quite enjoyable. On a positive note, it wasn't a busy night, and our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Overall, I'm not sure if the kitchen staff was having an off night, but based on this experience, I can't recommend this restaurant. read more

I came here on 5/24/24 This place is like a vintage museum. Everywhere you look, there are pictures of actors, ball players, singers etc.. and hanging vehicles, animals and a bunch of other stuff. It is definitely a wow factor when you walk in! I was looking forward to trying the Tator Kegs, which are giant Tator Tots with bacon, cheddar, and Chives in them. I ordered them and got the cheese sauce and ranch with them. They came out hot, and they were light, crispy, and airy. They were soooo good! I ordered The Chicken Madeira with the Asparagus on the side because I did not want it on top of my Chicken. That dish was very tasty as well! I usually get the Chicken Madeira at Cheesecake Factory all the time because it's always a hit for me. My boyfriend got the Rattlesnake Pasta which looked tasty too. Brought my family here for their first time and they loved it. We started off with the gringo dip and tequila wrappers And we devoured the munchies. I personally had the Buffalo fried chicken salad and honestly it is a nice filling salad. Our server Bri did a great job with her customer service, very attentive n our food came out quick. The place is great if you want to watch any football games they have plenty of television. Overall the atmosphere felt amazing. My only problem was that as a wheelchair user the bar height tables made it a little difficult to fit in because of the base and the regular tables were to low for me to fit underneath. We stopped in for lunch and I am so glad we did. We sat in the bar and had good service. Our spinach artichoke dip came out so quickly! I will say the dip was delicious but a good chunk of our chips were stale. But that is the risk you run with chips. I thoroughly enjoyed my half chicken salad sandwich and soup. It was the perfect size for lunch. I am picky about chicken salad and it was so tasty. The bread was soft and veggies were fresh. I was thoroughly satisfied. BIG FAN. I've been in San Antonio for a week now. My hotel is right next to 54th street and I have gone here 4 times. The first day I arrived, I wanted to watch some football and eat a burger and there is really no better place at the Rim to do those things. I went back on a Thursday and got fish tacos. Two days later, I went back again for fish tacos. They're very good. The drinks are great, beer is ice cold, and staff is amazing. They're personable and remember you. I will be back. The food was good here. I got a gyro which, if you are advertising, better be decent. It was. Exactly as you would expect from an Americanized (traditional) gyro. I loved mine! Everyone else in my party was happy with their food including the (4) kids so that is saying something. The only concern I have is that they call it a "draft house." When I hear those words, I would expect to (at the very least) have a menu of their draft beers on tap. The paper menu had nothing, the downloadable menu had nothing, and our server seemed to know almost nothing about beer let alone, what they actually serve. My family and I dined on a busy Friday night. I always order the tenders and ribs with a baked potatoes and salad. As always, I had no issues with the food. The portion sizes were nice, the food was hot/fresh, and everything was seasoned well. Only issue we had was the service. It was very awkward but I believe the server was new. We were staying at a nearby hotel and walked to checkout this restaurant. I checked in at the restaurant and joined the wait! It was only a ten minute wait and accommodated me instantly when I walked in. Our server was Valaria and she was the sweetest! She always checked on us and gave us a lot of time to order. The strawberry lemonade was SUPER REFRESHING. I'm a huge lemonade lover and I absolutely loved this! You get one free refill with your purchase. The reason I am giving this four stars is because the pasta was cold. It was disappointing because my boyfriend was really looking forward to trying a new restaurant. My burger and Mac and cheese was delicious. My food was hot. The soup was tasty and I really was pleased with my meal and service. We never mentioned to the server about our pasta because we felt bad for sending back the cold pasta. So we just boxed the meal and heated it up at home. Overall, we had a pleasant date night out. Everything about our dinner experience was on point. We started with the tater kegs and decided to get calamari as well. The tater kegs were amazing with the ranch. The peppers with the calamari was a fun way to switch up classic calamari. The spice, lemon juice, and dip were perfect with the calamari. Now onto the entree- I got the steak medium rare with grilled shrimp. The steak was cooked perfectly and the shrimp were seasoned perfectly. The waitress recommended mac n cheese as a side and I did not regret this decision. The breading on top really solidified the dish and made it perfect. read more

A very fun spot... Good bar food, decent cocktails, and the all important ice cold draft beer. Food was average - Nothing too memorable, but it's difficult to make a burger memorable unless you are very very good at it. Wait staff was attentive, but sometimes got busy with other patrons orders and other tasks - One negative is that the bar staff does not take care of patrons that are not in their area-each server has an area of the bar but they are responsible for and only they can serve those customers. I asked for a draft beer since my first beverage had been consumed and was told they would let my server know... Parking can be a challenge... I was in town for a few days, and the first few nights a tried to stop by - no parking available - and the main parking is behind the restaurant. Overall, not a bad spot, decent food and service at a reasonable price - it's nothing spectacular But I will definitely eat here again. read more

Busy Sunday during the NCAA basketball playoffs. Still no excuse to be stranded at the bar without either of the bartenders looking at me. Since they didn't want my business I went to one of the high tops in the bar areas and things were much better. Very friendly service, drinks and appetizers came out very quick. Calamari are really good and try the garlic sauce. I'm shocked but it goes well. If you are ok with spicy food try the Rattlesnake pasta. It's filling and just enough kick to it. Several televisions around and they have a decent beer selection. The menu has a lot of good food options and the atmosphere is really nice. Sports and casual. Staying walking distance from this place, have ate here before but I don't remember what I got. This time I ordered the protein bowl with salmon. WOW! It was so delicious! Lots of different flavors all coming together so perfectly. There's crispy brussel sprouts and zucchini, bellpeppers and the bed of rice it's sitting on was amazing. Lunchtime service was below par. I walked into the restaurant and waited for a hostess. Didn't see anyone there so I sat myself down at the bar. The bar tender had just wiped it so it was very wet (put my arms in it unknowingly). I ordered the French dip sandwich. The bar tender spoke very fast and I had to ask him to repeat what he was asking me. Then I realized he was asking if I wanted horseradish or something else. Nevertheless, the sandwich and fries were decent. The small amount of catsup barely made it through 1/2 fries. I waited for the bar tender (talking with his other employee) to come by so I could get some more. He never came by. Never asked how to e food was,, never asked if I wanted a refill on my tea or if I wanted a to go ice tea before I left. He just put a receipt in the glass and walked away. He needs training or another job in the kitchen. I probably won't be back anytime for lunch. read more

Good place to go for dinner with the family, or happy hour with the friends. Plenty of food to choose from, burgers, wings, salads, you name it, they have it. They have a decent beer and drink selection and they also have a pretty nice patio. On nights that aren't too hot, they open up the glass garage doors from the bar so you can enjoy the night air. They also have a fire pit on the patio to provide heat for those of you that are thin skinned and can't handle the cold. :) Happy hour food and drink specials are over at 6pm, so get there early! read more

We ordered a chicken fried steak to share which was fantastic! The chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and mac&cheese are our new favorite for the area.
