My brother is town from leave. His is station in Hawaii so we don't see him often. He wanted to go to top golf and it was by far the best decision we could've made. Only thing I would HIGHLY suggest is making a reservation before you go we had to wait an hour, which was the shortest time between Bowl & Barrel and Main Event. Nonetheless Nicole was absolutely AMAZING! We had a few hiccups and she got our bay host and the team to fix things fast. She was very professional and made our experience that much better!! Sadly, nothing has changed since my last review. I went to Topgolf to celebrate my bday! awesome right?? yikes is more like it. We arrived at noon and it was already packed. We had to wait for a 2nd or 3rd floor bay. Went to the bar while waiting, no big deal, let's get the party started! Finally got a notification via text that our bay is ready AND SOMEONE WILL BE THERE TO MEET US. Got to our bay and ordered our hour of play via kiosk. Not one member of staff checked on us, I asked two different people if I could make my order with them and they said they would send a server over. The second time I asked, I recieved an attitude; "YOU HAVE AN ASSIGNED STAFF MEMBER". I understand, but that doesn't change the fact I have 30 mins left to order/make/have them serve food. I only planned on being there an HOUR. When I finally got a member of staff to acknowledge us, there was a miscommunication with payment method. Best place to go hang out with friends. Literally no wait without a reservation. Walked right in to a booth and a waiter. Food came right out in a few minutes. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable about the way the games are set up. I definitely had a great experience with good vibes. The drinks and food was great. This review is solely based on customer service. I spoke to the hospitality manager on 7/7/16 and explained to him the situation. Per his request, he wanted me to email him the details of my visit. As I mentioned to you, my friends and I go to TG on a regular basis and like to bring our guests from out of town. We enjoy the atmosphere and the environment but for some reason the customer service is seems to be sub-par most of the time except for yesterday, it was unbearable. We were seated at bay 229 and I believe Kim was our hostess. There were five of us and everyone of us had to ask her for something at least twice if not three times. At one point in time Kim disappeared for about half an hour. My other friend joined us and we could not find her to put in an order for food and drink. We had to ask another server to ask if she could find our server and she was nice enough to take the order for us. When Kim finally came back, she apologized for a misunderstanding and said she was back. Come to find out, my boyfriend saw her talking with another co-worker in the bar area during the time she went missing. As she was apologizing she clapped her hands trying to make a point as if we were children. Unacceptable and inappropriate. She definitely needs some coaching on her personal skills. Lastly, I asked Kim for ice three times and the last time I asked her she said "I told them to bring it" and blamed someone else. Then she proceeded to say "I guess I'm going to have to get it myself" as if it were my problem. That was really the last ounce of patience I had. Our group was entirely patient with her as we all have been in customer service and the food and bar industry but I felt that this issue needed to be addressed as we were there for 3 hours or so and spent a lot of money to have bad service. I hope this brings the situation to light and these items can be addressed so not only myself, my friends, my guests but other customers can have a more enjoyable experience at Top Golf. Went to this location and sunday (late afternoon) and didn't have to wait too long for a bay to open up. When ordering food, I definitely suggest the injectable donut holes. Very tasty and makes an excellent dessert or drunk snack. read more

Very fun for the family and friends. We had a party of four and spent 2 hours. It was a great time. The food was surprisingly good. We had 3 different kind of sliders: pulled pork, chicken and waffles, and crab cake all were very delicious. Service was great. The chicken and fries were crisp and light. I will be back. read more

I would have given Topgolf 5 stars if service was a little better, and the bathroom was in order. I should mention our server got 20%. I took my daughter there for her 16th birthday party. Dropped $240 playing golf with food and tip. My daughter and her friend had the most fun playing in the game room. I used the men's room, which had a urine covered floor and no paper towels. The men's room was by the kitchen, and I couldn't find anyone to inform of it's condition. While we were in the game room several drunken parents wandered in with children who aimlessly took up space on games, which they did not pay to play. This restricted game time for others. There was no Topgolf representative in the game room to keep order. read more

I really love golfing, but when I call to get information (press 7 and wait for the associate to answer), I get hung up on every time. Great place but HORRIBLE STAFF. Most are teenagers with little to no experience in professional environments - let alone proper motivation. They huddle in front or at the bar and do nothing. Made a $50 reservation to hold our spot. Once we made it to the Bay no one came to check on us. After 15 mins I asked a waiter for left handed clubs and clubs for the kids. The manager came to our bay and explained we needed the VIP package for someone to came and check on us. $95 for 1 hour of play, $130 for burgers and nachos... spent $225 for an hour of entertainment and being told by management I need to spend more money for some basic customer service read more

I like top golf a lot. Decided while I was in town to stop by. I called to make reservations and it directed me to do it online. Went online and it only let me do it if there were a certain amount of people. Believe it was 6 or 7.I had less so didnt do it there. So 5 of us get in the car. It is early evening so we are hitting traffic. Takes us about 40 minutes to get there. We park, walk up the stairs to a 8x11 in white paper saying the place is closed for a private party. There was no message about it on the machine when I called. There was no message on the site, and the only sign was only visible when you got out of the car and went up the stairs. Top golf is fun but the experience I had here wasn't. We came here Friday night and was put on the waiting list, we were told 45 min wait, my friend gave her number and she was told she would get a text when the Bay was ready for us. We went over to the dining area to have dinner. Food was ok, one our dishes was given to another table! 45 min later she went to the front to ask about the wait time and she was told they called and texted her and no one answered and they never got a response so they gave our Bay to someone else. WTF right? We were having dinner in front of them! She didn't even receive a call or text either. Poor customer service here. read more

I went to Topgolf last night for the first with my family while visiting from out of town. Noah helped us out and made the overall experience a 10/10. He was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. It's pathetic that such an expensive place takes advantage of customers. The place has gone down hill since last year and is complete trash. We checked in at 4PM to play some golf. They said waiting is over an hr. So we waited and waited. After 2.5 hrs we asked how much longer the wait is. They said an hour. What kind estimates time of wait is this? We left. At 11PM we get a txt saying our place is ready. They are very inconsiderate of others and time. I'm never going back here. I can find other stuff to do who doesn't treat customer like this. Let's not forget about parking. Another hour passes and we were pushed to 68th place. At 2.5 hours in we checked back and the hostess said we could expect at least 2 more hours. I understand this is the "hottest place in San Antonio" but come on at least have limitations on how long groups can hog up a lane for. On a side note, when expressing frustration with bar staff, they became extremely rude and then proceeded to make us wait 25 min for our check we asked for when complaining about our wait. Wanted to love this place. Our wait time was 4-5 hours and we got here at 1pm. Knew this might happen so we decided to relax and make an afternoon of it. Started at the restaurant for a late lunch. Our service at the restaurant was horrid. Half our party got their meals. They finished before the other half got their meals. We had to search down our waitress for silverware and napkins. Sent our margaritas back - twice. Had to get up more than once to find our waitress to ask for more water and items we didn't receive (but ordered). Thought that maybe once we got to our bay, the service would be better. Our first waitress was fabulous but, after 20 minutes, she left her shift and we got another waiter. We've now been here another hour and a half and I have hardly seen him. Have asked other waitstaff for help and been to the bar several times to get items we need. I'm more than fine with the over priced drinks, but having the bartender hand is the first drink- a dented can that spewed foam when my husband opens it and the second drink- a draft shiner that we watched the bartender spill on the way to the bar, spill as hit set it down and neglected to offer any kind of napkin or rag to wipe the alcohol of the exterior of the glass. This is our first time visiting and I had heard gray things ... but this isn't a very positive experience this far. We spent over $100 on apps, spent 2 hours on 2 lanes golfing and came downstairs to cool off and finish drinks. We opened our 3rd tab for the night, my husband had his drink almost immediately. Well I hate how much I loved this place. When they aren't super packed you can sometimes get through the phone lines to ask how long the wait is (evenings seem to be from 2-5 hr wait ... Insane). It is annoying, however that when they are busy they don't seem to answer the phone. Parking is insane, but just drive allllll the way around and try to find a spot. Obviously as everyone has pointed out it is ridiculous how busy this place is... Let's hope it calms down. My husband and I were able to try it out on an early Friday evening (he was able to get there early enough that I didn't have to suffer through the wait!). It's pretty pricy - but definitely extremely fun! You can play in a group of up to 6, and you pay by the hour for your group. The food is not cheap, but honestly is quite good for bar food. We ordered a couple buckets of beer and a couple of ridiculous cocktails for 4 people that came in huge plastic novelty golf clubs cups (with flashing lights of course). It was ridiculous... But delicious and made our experience all the sillier and fun. Enjoyable food, good drinks, and a fun game make Top Golf an incredibly fun time. Just be ready to spend a pretty penny. $40/hour for peak hours (all afternoon and evening of Friday, for example), plus $25 cocktails (4 people enjoyed), and relatively pricey food meant for an expensive (over $350 for 4 people, dinner, drinks, and 3hrs of fun) but extremely fun evening. We will definitely be back.... But definitely not at any time with a 2+ hr wait. read more
