Served with a generous amount, they were almost the star of the plate, coming in a close second to the shrimp which was nice and lightly fried and had a good crisp on the initial bite followed by a mouthful of juicy jumbo shrimp. The steak was decent and could of been better, it was a bit on the tougher side as I asked for it to be medium--well and it sure was more on the "well" side. So next time I'll try it cooked medium. Still good and I finished my entire plate. Can't forget the asparagus which was prepared perfectly, not too soggy, but not too crunchy/raw either. Enjoyed my first experience at Summit View Lounge. One out of two moved their motorcycle about 4 feet away away from the entrance. When I walked in the bearded guy who i guess is the new owner said we have to take our food and go. Apparently now motorcycles can now block entrances. In all my years of riding between new york city Hagerstown MD martinsburg WV. Portland Oregon and Boring oregon where the the least bit of respect from riders is not to block the entrance. In pacific city at the sportsman it is just fine. Definitely noting this one because it's going to be enjoyed all seasons of the year whenever I return to visit SMC. The Mountain Blackberry Revel was good too, but not as good as the Vanilla Bean.
