Monica, the owner went above and beyond. She not only agreed to put a themed buffet together with only a weeks notice, she handled the decorating and full set up for the party. She was easy to work with and made the party stress free. The service was wonderful, Hannah our server also went above and beyond to be sure all our guests had their coffee, tea and cocktails. The other owners, Aaron and Brick made sure to have karaoke available for this special occasion as my mother loves to hear us daughters sing. Not only did Larry (the KJ) agree to come in on his day off, he was fun and personable. We had a great time singing with his friendly personality. The sound system was also amazing which for a family who enjoys singing is very important. The quality of food was amazing and Miguel from the kitchen made sure the buffet stayed completely stocked and warm. The entire establishment was very clean including the bathrooms which for me is very important. I can't say enough for this place. It made a very special occasion very memorable.

I have no idea why this place doesn't have five stars across-the-board. I am hard to please and I loved everything about it. The environment is chill. It feels like an old house on the inside with old pictures, low lighting and a lot to look at. It's not fine dining but I really liked the decor and the vibe. The service was top-notch. Both times we had Sarah, she was not only attentive and friendly, but also went out of her way to make sure our kids were taken care of, put up with our loud family, and accommodated multiple checks for our large group. She was a rockstar. And the food was great! And reasonably priced too. The first visit we had pizza and salad and the second time we had eggplant park, pasta, and oysters and clams- we loved it all! Portions were large, appearance was good and it tasted delish. I also had the tiramisu and it was yum. We will be going back again for sure.

This review is for the "Lounge" half of Christo's. Yes, there are two separate areas, the "dining…read moreroom", and the "Lounge". Their web site REALLY should make this more obvious. The lounge has three columns of tables directly touching each other, and single seats at the bar. The space is TIGHT, too tight, since wait staff are forced to walk sideways down the columns of tables and between those seated at the bar to see the show (the stage and bar are at opposite ends of the room). When the band takes the stage, staff turn the house lights off, which makes for a literal "dine in the dark" experience (not fun). There are also fog machines, that would be best left turned off (fog isn't needed for jazz music). There's also a green laser ball that shoots laser dots around the room, which (again) seems completely out-of-place for jazz shows. Parking is all street parking, and the neighborhood has a large homeless population. The food was definitely one of the pluses, and the other was the friendliness and efficiency of the staff.

Upon entering, staff behind the counter began whispering about me. When I walked toward the pool table area, a worker followed us and started asking intrusive questions. The woman I believe to be the owner then began commenting that there were no teens in the restaurant because they were likely at graduation, treating my group and me like children. She proceeded to ask our ages and whether we had graduated, despite my clear disinterest in conversation. As an adult who works full-time and volunteers with community organizations and non-profits on my limited days off, this unwanted harassment was disappointing and disrespectful. Additionally, the hostess appeared jittery and forgetful. When handing me my to go order, the owner aggressively shoved the box into my hand. The hostess later remembered my water order only after the food was ready and then asked if I wanted a cup. I initially asked for it to be a to go cup but she gave me a plastic cup so I had to leave my water there. This experience significantly ruined what should have been a relaxing stop during my short weekend break. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and reflected on so other customers don't have a similar encounter with this restaurant/pub.
