"There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't." ~Rabindranath Tagore - I look for adventure, and adventure means bumps and bruises and scuffs. To take the bumps and bruises and scuffs, you have to be tough, and you need tough equipment. Topo has a good selection of hip backpacks and trendy light-hiking apparel. It looks great, but it seems to be more for hiking the airport or hiking the college campus or looking "Colorado cool" than for "All Trails" kinda hikes like I do. But it looks really good. I'll get one of their backpacks next time I hike to Starbucks for a latte. - There are many people like this too. They are superficial and shallow, and can't handle the hard stuff of life. When confronted with "hard" they remember that they have an appointment to get their nails done. Mani Pedi, anyone?

Have been wanting a pair of Topo women's bouldering pants for awhile now and finally decided to stop in and see if they had anything I liked. Found the perfect pair, AND they were on sale!! Couldn't be happier!! Zach the young man behind the counter was extremely helpful and an over all pleasure to be around. Will definitely be returning to purchase a bag in the near future!! They also had Smokey the Bear patches, could it get any better?!

Olive over the natural shirt showing the body difference and sleeve length difference.

I purchased two of the waffle long sleeve shirts, one olive and one "natural", and both shirts were cut different. What I mean is that the body and sleeves on the natural are a full 1-2 inches smaller than the olive one. The sleeves are supposed to be 35.25" from center back neck and are 34" barely. I've done two exchanges in hopes of getting two shirts that are the same size, but this is apparently impossible. Their customer service on the issue has been lackluster to say the least and they fully intend to sell shirts they know are out of spec. For a company that "prides it's self on quality" and charges $80 for a thermal shirt it's pretty unacceptable.

I really wish there was a way to put more than five stars, because this company definitely deserves like a hundred. It was by my good luck that I ran across Topo Designs in a Tumblr post many years ago, it was a picture of a stylish looking backpack and thank goodness the link to their website was on that post. Couple of scrolls through their website and i was already in love, I was sold. I'm from Southern California and I really love to hike and go on adventures, so naturally I am constantly on the hunt for amazing backpacks. However, at the time, I already had an amazing backpack (a really cool nike one that's been with me for several years and in good condition) so I bookmarked the website just in case I ever needed to buy a new backpack. I would've just bought it right then and there but hey, I'm on a college student budget. I ended up getting the opportunity to buy one this past winter because my girlfriend was in desperate need of a backpack. She's a chemical engineering student and she takes her studies very seriously, which means she's always carrying a shitload of books. On top of that she's a competitive water polo player so she needs room for workout clothes, etc. With that being said, all her other previous backpacks have been demolished from the weight of all the books/binders she carries. I wanted to get her a reliable backpack that wouldn't get destroyed within a couple of months, so I decided to try Topo. I bought her the 22L Klettersack because I knew she'd need the extra space. I was a little concerned because she's 5'2" and I thought the backpack would be a little big on her, but it fits perfectly! Before ordering online, I called their store in Colorado and the guy who picked up spent like 15 minutes on the phone with me answering all of my annoying questions and giving me his opinion on which size, etc. He was super helpful and very friendly. The backpack itself is beautiful, super sturdy and simple-looking. It looks stylish and doesn't have all the unnecessary crap that you see on other backpacks. Very spacious comes with a laptop sleeve and water proof interior. Straps are extremely durable and easy to use, there's also a pouch on the outside portion. One of the best backpacks I've ever seen/purchased. My girlfriend loves the backpack and so do I, so happy with my purchase and I am glad to say I will be buying another one soon. Excellent job, Topo!

In our quest to find rental clothing, we came across Mountain Threads and Jared, and I am absolutely certain that it made our ski experience that much better. Jared was responsive, helpful, and kind - both on the phone and in person. He opened the shop early to accommodate our ski time - which was incredible - and $40 for all of the rental wear was a solid price. Easily a 10/10 - you won't go wrong here!

They recommended Mountain Threads, and I could not be more satisfied with the service I received. I called the day I arrived in town/the night before I was to ski. I spoke with Jared who was incredibly helpful in identifying the gear I needed. Further, Jared walked me through a timeline for leaving Denver, stopping by the shop to try on gear, and making it to my ski lesson on time. Throughout the process Jared was accommodating and generous with his insights. The price point was incredibly competitive - jacket, pants, goggles and gloves for $40. I believe a helmet could have been included, but the ski park included a helmet in their equipment package. I would recommend Mountain Threads without hesitation.

Disappointed and Misleading Sizing Claims…read more I was so excited to find a swimwear brand that claims to be made for "big boobs and short torsos" and "designed for all boob-kind." Their marketing really builds up the idea that they're inclusive and supportive of different body types--especially those of us who struggle to find swimwear that actually fits a larger bust. But after looking at their size range, I was honestly shocked. Their sizing only goes up to a D cup. A D cup is not considered large for many of us with fuller chests--it's a pretty standard size. So how exactly is this "coverage, support, and styles that keep up with big boobs" if you're excluding the very people you're claiming to support? It feels misleading and honestly a bit performative. If you're going to market yourself as inclusive and for "all boob-kind," then back it up with sizing that actually reflects that. There's a huge community of people who wear DD, DDD, E, F and beyond who are constantly left out of the conversation--and it's frustrating to see yet another brand jump on the body-positive messaging without actually following through. Would love to see this brand expand their sizing and actually deliver on the promises they're making.

Not at all surprised since an active, outdoorsy lifestyle is common among local residents. The store was clean and fairly empty when I arrived. The sales associate was friendly and greeted me upon entering. The practical side of me was telling me that I didn't need it but the spendy side was telling me to get it on the spot since I would save on shipping. lol I do advise trying things on instead of going by size. I'm glad I did as the associate recommended getting the slightly looser size in case I wanted to layer .
