This is the pizza I wanted. Cheese curds and bacon and ranch Wisconsin Curds N Bacon Pizza
Chelsea R.

First picture was want I wanted on the menu. Second picture was what I got. Only had bacon and cheese in it. No curse curds, no ranch sauce and no chives. Was burnt and tasted like cardboard. Was completely inedible. I called back to complain and they hung up. Very disappointed and will never order there again.

Awesome, creative menu items! Staff is polite. Everything I've gotten here is delicious. My favorites are the Buffalo chicken pizza and their topperstix. Since having the topperstix, no other cheese stick will ever compare! Toppers has a special place in my heart being my go-to food after the bars in college, although it tastes just as delicious without alcohol. However, this location often messes up my order almost every time (ie. forgetting sauces) so that's why they're getting 3 stars. Make sure to check your order before you leave the parking lot and you're in for a treat!

Order delivery... Couldn't have been more disappointed.

When Toppers Pizza first came into Omaha I was a fan. Such a fan, that I introduced Toppers to several friends. At that time they only had the 114th and Dodge, or Miracle Hills, location. They have since added one by UNO. I moved closer to the UNO location a year ago and Unfortunately, that is where I have to have my deliveries originate from. In all of the last year I have gotten (maybe) one or two pizzas that I would think were acceptable. Color me glass half full as I continue to try and try with them. You wouldn't think that a thin crust pizza would cause such difficulty for this pizza chain. I mean, seriously, they offer thin crust so what's the difficulty in delivering one that looks edible? I know I mentioned that I have tried and tried in the past but this is the end of my patience. I ordered a large, thin, Californian. It is a fabulous pizza when it's not nuked and toasted. As the picture associated with this review will demonstrate - what I got was completely over baked pizza with very little ingredients. The Cinnastix were awful as well. Over baked and very little topping on them. I now know how they are able to offer great specials lately: they fail to adequately provide ingredients! This really makes me sad and I am quite disappointed. Their pizza was very good when they first came into town. I am tempted to go try the miracle Hills location as my disappointment has been only with the UNO store. But given my luck over the last year and money spent for very poor product, I have to admit some trepidation. If you're reading this Topper's, it's not personal I love the pizza you originally brought to Omaha. And I sure wish I could order that pizza again. The only reason I'm giving you a star at all is for your awesome delivery people.

This was my second second visit to a Toppers, but my first visit to the Toppers on Dodge. The first time I went I was unimpressed and decided Toppers was off my pizza list, but everybody deserves a second chance, I know I've been given many second chances in my life. I really like the restaurant itself, it's super clean and shiney and while it's not very large it feels welcoming and the staff is awesome, nice, friendly and super helpful. And what I didn't know is that they are open until 3am, no more Taco Bell or Mickey Dee's after a long hard night of dancing - YAY! Now on to the food, I ordered the BBQ pizza and the 3 cheese garlic stix. The garlic stix have actual pieces of roasted garlic on it, which was a surprise, usually garlic bread is made with garlic powder so you may taste it, but you don't see it and I am a garlic lover and I especially love roasted garlic, so I have to give Toppers 2 thumbs up for the special attention paid to the garlic. It was also very cheesy and I could definitely taste the different cheeses, I am also a huge fan of cheese. The manager told me that it had been taken off the menu at one point and they put it back on - good decision guys. After a night of dancing, all I need is those garlic stix. The BBQ pizza was pretty good, now first I have to tell you that I am thin crust pizza person all day every day, but the crust was good and not too bready. There was the right amount of sauce and a slight kick that I actually did not expect but really liked, that was a happy surprise. Now, I have never been a fan of a BBQ chicken pizza, but my date wanted it, so I caved. The reason I do not like BBQ pizzas is because I DO NOT LIKE sweet pizza, you will never see me with a pizza with fruit on it (sorry Hawaiian pizza lovers, but fruit on a pizza is just wrong IMHO). With that being said, it wasn't sweet, the BBQ sauce had a really nice flavor without an overpowering sweetness, so another kudos to Toppers to doing a BBQ pizza right. Lastly I have to address the marinara sauce, it was thick, which was great, because when I dipped my crust in it, it stayed on the bread and didn't end up on my shirt, and it was flavorful, but it had that slight taste of a canned sauce, but it wasn't overpowering and was still quite good in spite of itself. So I am glad I gave Toppers a second chance, they have now earned a place on my go to pizza spots and because they are open until 3am, they may eventually kick my #1 down to #2.

Thin crust meat lovers.

FAST TIMES AT OMAHA HIGH I just pulled a Specolli from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". I ordered two pizzas in a packed bar at 1am. I've never done this ever in my life. When the pizza guy arrived he was attacked by all these 21 year old drunk kids. The commotion by the door actually alerted me that my pizzas had arrived. I looked over and the pizza guy walked right up to me in the back of the bar. There were two people following him jawing things like, "I didn't know you delivered pizza. How late do you deliver pizza?" He never answered them. He just kept walking towards me. He then looked at me and I said, "Anthony!" He then started pulling out my pizzas. How did he know I was the guy who ordered the pizzas? Do I look like a Spicoli? It didn't matter because we were hungry. We hadn't eaten since breakfast. Our group laid out the two pizzas on the bar. The annoying 21 year olds went back to drinking. I figured they were going to attack us and our pizzas but they crawled back into their drunken hole. We offered the bartender some pizza but he said no. We had also made some friends at the bar and we offered them some pizza. They jumped in. You can't say no to pizza. Pizza and drinks are a bonding experience. I must say that the pizza was really good. I tried getting the 2 for 1 pizza special but they wouldn't give it to me on the phone. Technically I had a valid point when I told them it was after midnight and actually the next day. I tried pleading my case but they wouldn't go for it. I think they should have hooked me up for my wit and knowledge of time while drinking in a bar. We got one of the meat lovers and it was meaty love. There was no shortage of meat anywhere. Great job on standing behind your pizza. I also tried two of the different crusts. I got a hand tossed which was a medium style crust and a thin crust which was super crispy. Our second pizza was all veggie and it was packed full of healthiness. I would definitely order from this place again. You came to our rescue when we needed it most. Everyone can use a good pizza after midnight.

FOOD : we got a few orders - but i personally ordered the gluten free pizza with cheese, basil, and banana peppers. It wasn't too greasy which i liked and it had just the right amount of flavor in all the places it needed it. I love that it was straight out of the brick oven and cooked to perfection. I got the gluten free crust because it only had olive oil, whereas the other normal gluten pizzas have a mixture of olive oil oil and soy bean oil. The pizza was light because the crust was thin, but I still prefer the double zero Italian flour over the American flour overall it was a good pizza and I enjoyed it, however, still probably not in my top favorites for omaha! The table at large really enjoyed their pizzas, I think if you just want a quick basic pizza that's good and better than going to a fast food spot, this is a good choice, but if you're looking for high quality ingredients with local sourcing, this isn't it. Alas, it was still really good and we enjoyed our food! SERVICE : it definitely gave a mom and pop feel, we had exceptionally kind Service and really enjoyed the people that we met. They were extremely helpful and made it feel homey! ATMOSPHERE : Very much so a hole in the wall - I'm not going to lie, I was a bit turned off by the ceilings and the cleanliness of the place. I get a little bit freaked out when it comes to atmosphere / food so this was a bit of a downfall for me!

The pizza is great good amount of toppings but not too much, flavorful sauce, crust has a nice crisp but still has that chew you want. The calzone was fantastic, definitely 2-3 meals worth of food, filled with cheese and toppings my wife loved it and so did I the next day. The inside had multiple tables and a bar inside. Kinda unique with writings on the wall. A little lot by the ovens but love the open concept. One of my favorite pizza spots in Omaha. We will definitely be back.

Ordered carry-out from Piezon's this evening…read more You know how pizzarias sometimes give you a bogus 40-minute wait time and then when you show up, your pizza has been in the warming oven forever? Not the case at Piezon's. I arrived five minutes early, waited five minutes, and there it was. That said, my portobello fries were being boxed up when I arrived, so, I feared for the worst. Not a problem. When I got in the car, the starving occupants immediately dove in. The "fries" were hot, they were crunchy, they were delicious! I could eat these all day, but hold that ranch dressing and give me a salt packet or two. I loved these! That well-timed pizza, well, it cooled significantly in a four-mile drive home, and when we opened the box, the pizza was just a little less than inviting. This was a black olive/mushroom pizza. Lots of olives, so thumbs up to that. Razor-thin mushrooms though didn't add much to the experience. And cheese, well, I like a little pull to the bite, and that wasn't happening here. Not enough cheese? Wrong cheese? Not a lot of flavor. Crust? Also not a lot of flavor. Not a lot of crunch or chew, and the sauce is spread pretty thin. I "think" the sauce had good flavor, but if I tried this place again, I might diner in, get extra sauce, extra cheese and extra mushrooms ... that's a lot of extra just to make it basic. I did hear though, that if you dine in, they have a fantastic margarita! (The drink, not the pizza.)

I warned you... The exterior of Mootz is basically the same as all of Countryside Village (which is probably a requirement), but the inside is a different story! The interior is all white and bright, and super clean. They really let the food and service do the talking without needing to dress the place up (which I appreciate!) The star of the show is their Acunto brick oven. It's gigantic, with white tile, and their Mootz name at the top. They had it made in Naples and it was definitely worth doing that for this amazing centerpiece of the space. And the oven is not just for looks, it puts out some of the best pizza I have ever had. I am not usually a fan of pizza crust, and only eat the main "body" of each slice, but at Mootz, even the dough and crust is flavorful and tasty! It has a salty and (super) semi-sweet flavor. It makes each slice all the better. That's just an example of how much they obviously care about the product they are producing. We got to chat with many of the staff, including Mootz himself, his dad, and others, who were all extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful. My husband and I are doing the ABCs of Omaha restaurants we haven't been to yet, and Mootz was our M pick. We didn't plan to tell them that's what we were doing, but when two people are ordering two whole pizzas, there's a little bit of explanation needed - LOL! Once they knew that was what we were doing, they made sure to help us pick the slices to try that they loved best, and based on what we were craving. What's great about Mootz is that you can order just a single slice of a certain flavor, or get a full pie of different flavored slices. Because of this, we were able to try 8 different flavors of pizza! We ordered slices of the Buffalo Chicken, Cheeseburger, Chicken Alfredo, and Jalapeño Oaxaca for one pizza, and then the second pie we did a lot of the normal pizza flavors, so slices of the Cheese, Pepperoni, Supreme, and Margherita. They were ALL fantastic (and I am not exaggerating), but our favorites were the Cheeseburger, Buffalo Chicken, Margherita, and Jalapeño Oaxaca. I'm a cheeseburger girlie and I achingly missed the Cheeseburger Pizza that Pizza Shoppe (RIP) used to have. But no more missing that flavor - the Mootz version is so great, it has satiated that craving! The Buffalo Chicken was BOMB! Not too spicy of a buffalo at all, and the chicken is juicy and flavorful. They make their own Ranch too, and the Buffalo Chicken dipped in that was perfection. (And in mentioning the house made ranch, we also had a side salad that we shared, with that ranch, and it was awesome - very well dressed and with lots of veggies!) The Jalapeño Oaxaca was a fave because I appreciated the heat that the jalapeño gave, and the crema on top giving it a creaminess that counterbalanced the spiciness. The surprise of the day was the Margherita! I normally don't order Margherita pizza just because it's not too full of toppings or flavor usually - but that's not the case at Mootz. The dough being so flavorful works wonderfully with their delicious pizza sauce, basil, and SO much cheese (parm, Romano, mozzarella). It's a lighter slice if you aren't wanting anything too heavy, but that doesn't mean it's not big on flavor! And to round out the meal, they have some awesome desserts too. We tried the tiramisu and the chocolate chip cookies. Tiramisu is my favorite dessert, but my husband on the other hand does not super enjoy it (since he's not a coffee lover). But we BOTH loved the tiramisu at Mootz! It comes in a little cup and it's almost "crumbled" (vs layered, like a normal tiramisu slice), which gives each bite a little bit of each layered flavor. Yum! The chocolate chip cookies were on point too; chewy, sweet, soft, and definitely homemade. We made a great decision to try Mootz for our M restaurant, because it was so dang amazing. I definitely recommend you go here for your next night out, immediately, right now! Do it!
