Had heard about this place from other people who love a greasy spoon diner for breakfast. It was quiet at around 8:45 AM when we went in, the waiter got us water and coffee quickly and got our orders in fast. The food took a bit to come out but it was worth the wait as all the dishes were SO yummy and flavorful! I had the crepes and my wife had the breakfast enchiladas, both were so good in their own ways. The fruit on the crepes was fresh and the drizzle was warm, I was pleased with the presentation of them too! It's a super laid back little dive bar dinner type of feel, no need to dress fancy for it. I will say it's a bit pricey compared to other similar diners who have similar options on the menu, that's the only reason they got a 4/5 stars from me! Overall, a great experience !! read more

Okey Dokey feels like a small town bar and grill. Basic metal chairs and booths, and not a ton of natural light. And that's where it succeeds. There's no pretending it's something it's not. It's a good mix of typical bar and grill food with some Tex-Mex food. The hash browns with my steak and eggs were perfect. Food: Breakfast all day? Sign me up! I've been craving French Toast for a hot minute, and when I read it on the menu; SOLD. Snagged their three piece, with scrambled eggs and choice of sausage or bacon. Great eggs, and the sausage was delish! The french toast had like little crispy edges and it broke up the soft textures extremely well. We also snagged one of their steak street tacos just to try. Great steak flavor and because one of us is a spice ween, the green sauce was perfect! Now that Brisket Burger... is a TONNN of meat! Built to be sturdy the the brisket itself was very tender, very BBQ-ee, and unless you can unlock your jaw you'll definitely need to flatten her out a bit great bun (lil on the soggy side due to all the sauce/juice). The sweet potato waffle fries were crispy and about what you'd expect from frozen ones. Nice little side to go along! Sweet little outdoor seating, and plenty of space to park. This summer's storms has been all sorts of nuts! My boyfriend and I were relaxing on a Tuesday night watching a cheesy rom com when we suddenly here a whooosh and the power goes out. Then we see lightning like we've never seen before and loud winds that lead to multiple trees and branches tumble to the road and take out powerlines. It was probably the scariest storm I had ever experienced. So what do we do for breakfast when we don't want to open the ice box? We head out of our town to find someplace to eat breakfast and we came upon the Okey Dokey Bar and Grill. We got here around 8:30 in the morning and we were happily greeted by the waitress and got seated promptly. There were a couple of other people enjoying breakfast already and it made us eager to eat. My boyfriend ordered a burrito with hashbrowns and I ordered an omelet with tomatoes, mushrooms, and cheddar cheese with a side of bacon and country potatoes. Once our meals came we were delightfully surprised at how delicious it was and the presentation was great!! Our waitress checked on us a few times and made sure we had everything we needed. My favorite part of breakfast is how unassuming the Okey Dokey Bar and Grill is. I'm thankful they are open early and have a great breakfast to offer. It's almost a hidden gem! Though the circumstances that lead us here for breakfast were pretty bad I'm glad we had a delicious breakfast here. read more

The Oky Doky used to be Danny's Bar and Grill but they had closed a while back. Oky Doky took over the spot, and while it has the same layout as Danny's, Oky Doky is a lot more modern and updated seeming than Danny's ever was. They started with just doing brunch and breakfast when they first opened, but just recently started doing dinner options, which is what we had when we went. We had dinner with a few friends, and Oky Doky was offering a special that was a bucket of six beers and a plate of wings for $20. For the wing sauce, we chose their normal bbq. The sauce was actually very good. The chicken wings themselves, though, were a little bit dry. You can ask for ranch with the wings, and that does help with the dryness so I recommend doing that. I think they may have just got their liquor license, because they had beer in cans/bottles, but the taps weren't being used yet. We didn't mind as we were there for the bucket/s of beer anyway LOL! They also had a few slot machines that were set up but maybe did not have license to allow use yet, as there were signs on them to not use the machines. We got the Potato Teezers as a shareable app. They were good on their own, but dipped in their ranch, they were amazing. They come super hot, so tearing them in half to cool them own is a good idea. For my entree, I ordered the meatloaf and it was super scrumptious - maybe a bit little bit TOO big, though (which some may appreciate). I asked for extra gravy along with my meal and that was definitely a good choice because it helped with covering that giant loaf! It comes with mashed potatoes and corn that tasted great all together. My husband got the steak dinner and he said it was a little fatty but he still found it to be pretty tasty, especially when paired with salt and pepper. It came with a loaded baked potato with sour cream, and butter. The staff was great and they were always coming by to make sure our table was clear/not too cluttered, and checking if we needed anything else. Overall I think they're still finding their footing a little on the dinner scene, but all in all it was pretty good as home -cooking style food goes! This restaurant is a hidden gem right off 72nd and Blondo. Whenever I go there the food is excellent with delicious homemade food. The last time I was there we ordered some Mexican food. The Guacamole was homemade with big chunks of fresh Avocado blended with onions and spiced perfectly with a subtle kick. They were served with flour and corn tortillas. The quesadilla was nicely grilled and bursting with ground beef, melted cheese, onions and mushrooms. Then grilled to perfection. I highly recommend visiting this place! read more

I can't believe I ate the whole burger! This double cheeseburger and fries is huge! I love that I asked for extra pickles and they gave me a good amount! Anymore, when I stop at fast food I end up paying $12-15 and leave still hungry. I won't make that mistake again! This place is great for a burger and a beer and it feels like my hometown diner right across from McDonald's on 72nd and Blondo so spend the extra 20-30 minutes to get a really good burger. The bartender was super friendly and was there for all my requests. It has the feel of a small town bar with the lights dimmed and the 80' music playing on a hidden boombox. We have been here three times in the last few months. This is definitely a mom and pop operation but good, quality food and very reasonable prices. A Latin spin on a traditional American diner. The food was decent, and the service was good but slow. My husband had their Sunday special, which included eggs, bacon, and busquits and gravy. He liked the eggs. The bacon was not crispy. He said the busquits and gravy were a bit on the bland side. I had the divorced eggs. This is a Mexican dish. The beans were delicious, the rice was ok but the eggs were a bit runny for my taste. The server did not ask me how I wanted the eggs, and I feel they would have done them right had I asked. Had the eggs been how I like them, this would have definitely been one of my favorite meals. I will come back. Next time, I will ask for the eggs to be done how I like them. A group of us went here for dinner last night. We got there around 6 and there were only two tables of people. The waitress was great and we were greeted and sat immediately. We all ordered out food at the same time and it took close to 30 minutes for some of the orders to come out. The last two orders didn't come out until everyone else at our table was done eating. I ordered the prime rib melt. It came out piping hot but the meat was pretty chewy. The waitress apologized for the long delay and explained that the kitchen staff was new. I was a little disappointed and had higher hoped based on other reviews I have read. I may come back if I'm on the area for their weekend brunch but probably not for dinner. read more

Good place for breakfast. Used to be Danny's Bar & Grill. Good breakfast for two for less than $30 is hard to find these days. (Before tip). Pancakes, eggs & 4 slices of bacon $11.95, French Toast with powdered sugar on top, 3 slices, $7.95. Pancakes are the best in town and the French toast is great because they use great bread. Their batter is buttery and full of vanilla. Downside is they won't do egg whites, only offer scrambled, fried, sunny up or basted eggs. They don't offer decaf coffee, either. It looks like they use the decaf orange coffee pot, but no decaf coffee. The place looks just like Danny's without the Green Bay Packers signs. Service is good, help is friendly, looks like they have regulars now. read more

i've been going to this place for years. It keeps switching management me and my son my family love going there until today. Some new manager called Donald kids dad a liar saying that he did not ask for the kids pancake breakfast. I ordered the kids sausage and egg breakfast and he did as well then she didn't check on us not once to see how the food was to see if we needed more water and then we got into a huge argument because, I told her that he originally ordered the kids meal and she said he did not. She said we were lying, and the sausage I ate one. The other one was hard as rock. I had to send it back. she also told me that there's never been sausage patties. I said you didn't even ask me I prefer patties. She said we never had sausage patties and I was like that It's not true. I had them last time I was here. The eggs were overcooked. I wanted over medium I will not be going back there. I boycott this place! read more

I got chicken tenders for lunch.....if you can call them that, and sweet potatoes waffle fries. The tenders were so dry and shriveled that you could barely bite them let alone chew them. And I think I got 8 waffle fries. I will NEVER order from them again. read more

Went on a Friday morning to try breakfast. It was packed, couldn't figure out why, but then figured it was because of Veterans Day, a lot of folks off work. Staff consisted of 1 waitress with a gentleman who seemed to be her helper, giving menus, drinks, refill coffee. Not very friendly but they were overwhelmed. Food took about 45 minutes. Prices were good. Food was good, but if we walked in again and saw it was this busy, we would not wait. Hashbrowns are normally a favorite of ours, but we did not care for these. Eggs, French toast, all your run of the milll staples, OK. The one item that we would go back for was biscuits and gravy, delicious! Sausage is links, and I liked those. Coffee was good too. So far I have eaten at Okey Dokey three times and they are truly consistent in their quality of food and all the good flavors. The service is friendly and professional. So far I have enjoyed their Patty Melts and Omelets. The flavor and quality of the burger is excellent, better than I've had in other restaurants.Their omelets have generous portions of whatever items you want in the dish. Being a big potato lover of all kind, I must say that they have the BEST hash browns because they are crunchy on the outside and soft buttery on the inside. The flavors and seasonings are the nice finishing touch to their hash browns. The French fries they serve with burgers are nice and thick and hold their flavor much longer than thin crispy ones. When you order a fruit cup they actually bring you a generous serving of actual pieces of good quality fresh fruit. Living in the area is such a nice advantage!
