Larry, if you look at your reviews you will see I'm not the only one complaining about your dealership. That so called service manager is not doing a good job and had no idea of what customer service means. I bought this RV because I work in the medical field and I travel around the country. The RV is my home 24/7 as I travel. I do understand I need to bring it in for warranty work but if I had know that is how the warranty works I probably never would have bought an RV. It's like buying a water heater for your house and having the drier tell you that you have to bring in the water heater for service. Some of that buy RVs cannot bring it in fir service because it's our home. I can only bring it in between contracts every 3 to 6 months. This is not the problem I had with your service department. Your manager isn't doing a very good job. He told me my tv would be replaced and would order a new one. I called the next day that I parked my rv into a park. He told me it would be replaced and would take a couple of weeks. I didn't like the fact that I had s brand new tv and it had a problem but now have to wait two weeks. I wasn't happy but I waited. Two weeks pass and nobody has called to tell me anything. I called and they told it hasn't come in yet! Seriously? How long does it take your department take to order a tv and get it to your store? I told them to call me when it's in. Two more weeks pass and again nobody has called. So again I have to call and see what the problem is. They told me it's not in yet. Seriously? 4 weeks and your manager can't seem to get a RV into your dealership? I asked to talk to your manager and they give me the excuse he's not available. I told them to have him call me. He never called me and I had to call back. Manager then tells me that the tv is there and I can pick it up. I waited two hours before I called back. I think someone went down to the local best buy and bought one. The tv that was in RV was a brand I never heard of and they said they had to order it from manufacturer to replace it. Well they replaced it with a Samsung which a much better tv that was in my rv. They didn't give me the box probably because it had the name of the store that they bought it from. Well I finally get the tv and get it all the way back to my rv which is 45 miles from your dealership. I want to use the stand it comes with it but guess what? Your people in service department failed to give me entire contents inside the box. This could have been avoided if they would have just given me the box. I'm now missing the stand. I called and asked them to mail it to me and they said they would. Ten days later still no stand. I have to call again and they tell me it was mailed off. I said are you absolutely sure because I'm passing your store and I can pick it up. Then they come back and say, oh no it's still here. Your service department is very incompetent and those guys are not going their job Larry. If you don't believe me you should do some call backs with people that have had service from your department. Call the people that just bought an RV and had to deal with your service department and get their experience. And when I did want to bring in my rv for warranty work I have to wait 3 weeks before I could bring it in. Seriously? 3 weeks? I called my local dealer in Fort Worth that sells the RV unit I bought and they took it in the next day. Their dealership is much larger than yours and they took mine the next day. We bought a 2016 Cruiser Aire Topper's in January the same one they have on for sale for $27K. On our first trip one of the water lines broke and water ran through the RV for several hours while we were gone. It was a badly in stalled joint, clearly a manufacture's defect. We immediately cleaned it out the best we could to minimize the water damage. We called the service department and told them about it, after the weekend because there is no one there on Sunday to answer nor is there emergency services. Toppers told us to call Crossroads (the manufacturer) which I did, when i called Crossroads they were uninterested in my issue and they told me to call the dealer. The dealer said they can't do anything unless it is approved by the manufacturer. As you can imagine the regular BS in going back and forth. In the end Toppers nor Crossroads did anything. Since then I have had an other warranty issue, again it did not get fixed because they could not find a problem with the awing motor, while for us it did not work for three months straight. Their service department is completely useless, you may get a deal, but after that you are on your own, Find another place to buy your RV. read more

It's a crying shame that Topper's RV Service department should be allowed to degrade the reputation of this business, which I understand is celebrating its 50th anniversary. I wish I could do two separate reviews...one of the sales department, and one of the service department, because I would give sales five stars. Robby Scott is a wonderful salesman, and Topper's prices are great. But the service after the sale is laughable. We had to take our 2017 travel trailer in for warranty work. We took the precaution of telling the service manager that we absolutely had to have it finished by a certain date, and if they were unable to repair it in that time frame, we would bring it in after we had used it for this very important trip. We were told there would be no problem getting the work done in the time allotted (it was a simple part replacement...I could have done it!) We called several times to check up on the repair progress, and my husband even stopped by one day and was told everything was on schedule...no problem. A few days before the deadline date we called to check on the repair, and were told they didn't even have the part, and the trailer would not be ready on time. You can imagine our frustration and disappointment. We now have to drive five hours round trip to pick up the unrepaired trailer and bring it home so we can use it for our scheduled trip. Check around on their Facebook page and on Google Reviews...we are not by any means the only ones who have had this experience with the service department. Again...for prices and sales, they're terrific, but the service after the sale will ruin their reputation, I fear. read more

We had a great experience buying our Rockwood HW276 pop up camper from Toppers! We had great customer service from the very helpful and friendly Treva Nunley. Everything has gone smoothly so far from initial visit to leaving with our brand new pop up. We especially appreciated how thorough and experienced Rafa was, who did our orientation for us. We felt very comfortable asking questions and getting familiar with our new camper. Although we've not had any experience with their service dept yet, we can speak highly of Toppers so far and would definitely recommend buying here. Plus, we got the best deal around, and who wants to mess with I45! This Waller location is very nice and convenient. It was great having a Love's around the corner to get acclimated to towing our camper. read more

Just left the lot with a used 2012 Rockwood Premier Series 2561G. I was very satisfied with my sales rep Robby he did the most awesomest job answering all my questions and concerns and took the time to take care of me. We are also very satisfied with out instructor Rafa. He also did an awesome job in making sure we understood everything about the trailer and the haul since this ower first trailer. We got an awesome deal and we r very satisfied with everything. We will be definitely be referring this place to friends and family. read more

Prices of campers are compatable to others around the Houston area, but the customer service is not so great. If you are a serious buyer, then you are spoken to when you visit. (I went into the showroom a few times before I bought ). After they got their money from me for the sale (several thousands of dollars) they might give you a simple "hello", but the feeling you get when you visit, is you are no longer needed there! I give this company no stars at all. My RV was there for over 3 months waiting on repairs. When I finally got upset enough to speak with management the son of the owner got on the phone and was disrespectful unprofessional and had complete lack of knowledge of customer service. I was told things like "well sorry about that what's done is done what do you want me to do." I expressed my opion that I would like something to be done about the issue I was told "It is none of your business what I do with my employees when I get off the phone with you. You're not going to tell me how to do my job." I could tell immediately that this young man was unable to have adult conversation so informed him I would be calling the owner of the company and hopefully he would understand that you could not speak to people in a customer service setting and that I would receive true professionalism. This was definitely not the case. The father was well seasoned in his verbal abilities. He used ever oppertunity during our conversation to speak over me, speak down to me and give me the run around. He possessed the ability to be extremly disrespectful like his son, but knew how to do it in a seasoned manner. I bought a $25,000 RV from toppers RV in Houston but received the customer service as if I bought a number 3 from McDonalds. No, I take that back McDonalds managers give more respect to customers then I got. I strongly advise everyone to stay clear read more

We took our Coleman Laramie in for repair 6 weeks ago and as of yesterday they still have not touched it. Unfortunately to me it seems that they prioritize their service work on what will provide the most money to them not depending on when it is brought to them for work. I am very disappointed by their service. We wanted a few minor items fixed to sell the trailer so we can purchase a new one. We did find one we were interested in that had just come in so it wasn't ready for purchase. Salesman Garrett was to e-mail us information but unfortunately that didn't happen either.We did end up purchasing a new unit from another dealer and went by Toppers to remove some items from our Coleman. At that time we were told that our RV repair would be started on Wednesday ( two weeks back) but still nothing. I have a new trailer now but still want my old one repaired. We have dealt with Toppers in the past and had excellent results but this time has not been good at all. I am very reluctant to recommend them for sales or service. read more

i bought a new travel trailer, 20ft., window unit a/c. I shopped online and found them to have the one i wanted and in the price range. I live 65 miles away from Toppers and thought saving a couple of thousand of dollars would be worth it. WRONG! My window unit a/c leaks after use and moving my trailer back to storage from my trip. I've taken it back to them 3 times and the 3rd time they were suppose to be getting a kit for it and i would talk to the warranty , parts department more than they did. I had to keep them updated on what was going on cause they could never tell me anything besides waiting to hear back from them. They also kept my trailer 3 weeks and didn't touch it. Even the minor things i told them about, didnt touch. I had to turn right back and tell them to replace the screw on my stove. Terrible place!!!!! So i picked it up and waiting on the part to be sent to me or they shop closer for repairs. This was the WORST experience of buy ing an r/v i would ever imagine. Instead of buying right down the street, thought i would be saving, but i didn't. Never again would i ever recommend any one to buy from them, terrible service and seems not to be to knowledgeable or caring about your repairs once you buy. They would never here from me or anyone i know to come there and buy. read more
