Our family was on a California - Florida road trip, and ran into issues with our 5th wheel. The guys were able to get us in quickly and dug straight in. Turns out we needed some new leaf springs and beefier tires. (we put a bunch of solar on the trailer which increased our weight a lot!) They had parts in-hand the same day and got us put back together. They also noticed our trailer brake system wasn't working as well as it should and tore the whole set up apart and found some wiring issues and upgraded our magnets. These guys are the real deal, hard-working​ (they stayed till almost 10:00) one night to get back on the road quickly. They also didn't have the rims in stock we needed and sent me to a trailer and tire vendors instead of rush ordering them and making a little margin, but costing me a bunch more $$$. I wish these guys were in LA, hard to find business that really do things the right way! read more

Terrible service period! Brought my 14ft tiny boat trailer in for repairs twice to fix the same hub on the same side. Both times the hub has fell off along with my wheel costing me over a grand yes a grand over $500 ea time for a hub repair even to add extra spring leafs last time in Feb to repair here. Ryan Swindell is the name here look it up employees! What would have happened if this were the case on the freeway???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No fucks from this crew....bye bye now to the trip I had planned this weekend!!! Terrible service!! I did not even leave the lot last time I shit you not when I heard rubbing on my tires pulled over and the owner or head leader which ever came over saw my tire was rubbing bold on the inside from a window clamp around my trailer was connected too and on top of that most lugs holding my tire support were all loose and he had to bolt them down...... I should have known right then the bull shit service I was provided! read more

I am not even going to give these people 1 star cause they don't deserve it because of outrageous pricing and bad customer service. Well it looks like I have to at least give them 1 star to post this so I am being forced to give them that. In April 2018 I brought these guys a trailer I had borrowed from a friend which I was trying to return to him in as good or better condition than what I had picked it up in which I had the lighting wires messed up on one side of trailer. All lights were working totally fine before the wires got tore up so I figured it would be an easy fix for someone like Shelton that does this every day. I took the trailer to Shelton and asked them to fix the lights and give me a quote on fixing jack handle which only needed the the little small piece where you grab it cause the rest was all there. When I picked up the trailer on 4-30-18 they had a bill for 1 hour labor at $75 to install that little handle, 3 hours to fix lights at $225, they added $19.99 for wire & $35 for shop supplies which I can't imagine what kind of supplies they could of needed to do this simple job. Total to fix 1/2 the lights and install that little handle was a whopping $354 which was totally outrageous for the work that was done. Not to mention that they were supposed to call me to let me know the price for fixing the handle before they did it and they didn't. Also it took them 4 days to finish it. read more

I needed repairs on my utility trailer, I called on Saturday October 16. I was told that I would receive a call back that never happened. I then called on Monday morning and was told that a tech would be at my place by 1 to 2 pm. No one showed up. I called to see what happened and was told I would receive a call back. Called again and was put on hold for more than 15 minutes, then someone hung up the phone. I wouldn't trust these people to fix a tonka toy. read more

I've gone to Shelton's several times and they always been readily helpful and are very thorough on their repair work.

Over priced. Guys weld like 6 year olds looks like a mud dobber puked all over the place stuff not bolted properly did I mention very very over priced I don't recommend anyone to take there stuff here guys walking around all day drunk and drinking some lady there trying to force her self on people for services. Guy took my lights off trailer and attempted to keep them had cracked welds before even leaving there shop they folded metal trying to save a penny and cracked it in the folds I would hope they do better on steel because they can not weld aluminum for nothing It was just a bad experience and cost 2 k for stuff that has to go to a real welder now and get fixed this crap hole needs to close down and stop ripping people off Lesson learned next time check reviews and read them before using there services. I don't like leaving poor reviews on anyone even if I wasn't happy with the rendered services but something needed to be said to warn others about this place read more

Had a brand new Bigtex trailer, 3 months old. I got pulled over, cops saw oil and told us Fix immediately. Our closest place was Shelton trailers, on the Fourth of July. Trey recommended that we do certain things, so we followed through with what he said. Went on to do my business and got left on the side of the road. I called Trey and he Told me to bring it back the following morning. He did a whole new Bearing job. I left the following morning for a job and was left on the side of the road again. This time I found a bigTex trailer place. They tore the whole trailer down, had to clean all what Trey had done also the job was done with all improper torque specification, Resulting in extensive further damage. I text Trey and asked him if we could talk, He asked for pictures, I sent in at that time he refused to talk and get on the phone with me, and stated there would be no reimbursement of any kind. I share this because this is supposed to be a businessman, I will also be sharing this on every social media out there. I don't want anyone else to get screwed like I did. read more
