Toppins is the only place in Oak Harbor to get frozen yogurt dispensed. There is Dairy Queen for ice cream, but for lactose intolerant people Toppins is the place to go. Another plus is the ability to add your own toppings to whatever flavor of frozen yogurt that you selected. There are 12 flavors to choose from for the froyo and nice selection of toppings. I didn't count the toppings. It looks like at least 20! A very nice place to relax for a bit and enjoy a good frozen treat. read more

I can't believe the owner of this establishment has no taste, where is his pallet, or even his passion for frozen yogurt, who on gods green earth would think that it is a good idea to NOT put chocolate and vanilla RIGHT NEXT GO EACH OTHER IN ORDER TO MAKE A CHOCOLATE AND VANILLA SWIRL!?!? Clean self serve frozen yogurt and sorbet with lots of flavors to choose from and lots of topping choices, fruits, candies, nuts, flavored syrups. Cost is based on weight of your filled cup. Very refreshing. Indoor and outdoor seating. read more

Good spot to get your sweet tooth fix. Frozen yogurt joint that's purchased by weight. There's both dairy and non dairy frozen yogurt options with a ton of different toppings to pick from. From candy to fruits to sauces to nuts! Although you pretty much serve yourself, the girls behind the counter were nice and kept the place cleaned and stocked. read more

We just visited Toppins with our son who has a dairy allergy. They had 3 dairy free soft serve options and lots of non dairy toppings and Sophie who helped us out was amazing. She was so helpful and made sure the dairy free machines are clean and that the toppings we got were safe for our son. We couldn't ask for better service! On top of that everything was super yummy! We love coming here bc they have a fantastic selection of yogurt. And mango, my absolute favorite. However I can't quite give it a 5 due to the fact that not once have we had friendly customer service. The store is SO fun, bright colors, funky decor and cozy spots. But when you don't have nice people working, it just makes me want to leave. We had fro-yo all the time in VA, those girls really knew how to be peppy. Even at the place across town those girls are happier. But in the handful of times we have been into toppins, we just don't feel like the young ladies in there love their jobs. Not even a hello or thanks. It's fro-yo ladies, perk up!! But, the place is fantastic if you can deal with that! They have a great selection of toppings -hence the name! Pretty decor, clean bathrooms, located next to a park tho we moved here when it was cold so we haven't taken advantage of that yet, and I hear there are game nights and fun stuff hosted there quite a bit. read more

Me and my wife came her a couple of times I've enjoyed the place a lot, nice people generally quite, and over all a cool spot to chill and hang out and make ice cream. If it were up to me I'd recommend coming here on a any day, it's clean on the inside and it's nice on the outside as well, it's a small spot but luckily just on the edge of the road where you can see the Toppins sign. Maybe not a lot of parking but there's other parking lots around the area so stop on by and get a nice thing of ice cream :) read more

The only place to get soft served frozen yogurt in town. Nice area reminds me of a pop/candy shop. Decent selection of flavors. Love that they have options to add cake in your cups. Great selection of fresh toppings!! I will say I was a bit disappointed in their mochi balls- it was multicolored and a bit on the harder side so it's not the authentic, fresh mochi I'm used to. Service- When we entered, no one was in the area or behind the counter so we just proceeded to help ourselves to samples. I know I tend to leave a lot of 5 star reviews, but they are always justified. Toppins is no exception. Rotating flavors but a consistent toppings bar mean that my picky daughter (she's obsessed with certain toppings) is always happy. James must be an amazing judge of character because all of the employees are great! We come here far too often, and the pricing is comparable to other self serve froyo places I've been to. read more

Always a nice time here and I love how often they rotate the flavors. It's nice they put up the calorie content too, surprisingly some frozen yogurt bars don't. They offer a military discount which is always so nice. I know they are the only fro yo place in oak harbor, but they are really good. I'm comparing them to alllllll the ones we have back home and it's really spot on. They even do fun lights on Friday nights, well the time we went anyway. Toppins is where to go if you're having a sweet tooth but want something just a tad healthier than ice cream. read more

There are disco lights! They have every topping you can possibly imagine! AND, if your finished self-served masterpiece matches their target of the day, YOUR YOGURT IS FREE! It was 13.7oz on the day went in, and Lee N. won himself some free yogurt. It was spectacular. The yogurt is made by YoCream, pretty standard for self-serve places. Most of the 10 or so rotating flavors are nonfat, they offer a couple of non-dairy options, and everything is DELICIOUS. And did I mention the ridiculous selection of toppins?! Awesome. read more

I used to only go to Whidberry as they were closer to home and I enjoyed the quiet setting. But now that they're gone I've only got Toppins to go to. They have great flavors, handful of topping selections, and it's always nice and clean. The employees are always nice and welcoming as well. They rotate flavors but I wish they would add more unique flavors. I do miss pistachio. read more

Soooo good!! We're die hard Yogurt Beach fans and really don't like any other chains this style in our own town... this place was awesome! The flavors were rich and real, not "icy" very refreshing, awesome assortment of toppings, extremely sweet girl behind the counter, genuine smile, even as she got slammed with a rush! We loved the options before the fro yo, waffle bowls, sponge cake bottoms, even separators for those that don't like to mix it up, so funny! We will go back again today before heading home to NV! Stopped by here with my friend while we were on Whibey Island adventuring. So glad we did because this is the best frozen yogurt place I've ever been too. The places around my area has nothing on this place. It was creamy and very delicious. They also have a wide variety of toppings and dairy free options. We were able to walk to this yogurt place from our motel. It's located in a plaza just off the main highway through town. The machines were working well, and there were many flavors to choose from for the base. Also, you could choose a plain bowl or a waffle bowl or brownie base. The toppings were all delicious, candies, fruits, everything you might want to add to a sundae. Plus hot fudge, peanut butter sauce and lots of other sauces you may want. Fun and easy! read more

We love this place. We use to go to every Friday for "dinner" when it comes as walking distance. Looking forward to the weather warming up and going back more frequently. It's always clean with a great selection. Only gripe is it would be awesome if the Facebook was up to date with the current flavors. We've gone a few times and they weren't accurate but there is always something good to be had so no harm done. read more

Very tasty fro yo flavor and a large selection of toppings. You can sample flavors to see which you want and they price reasonably by weight. They also have nutrition facts for some of the flavors and a lactose free and low fat options. Cute decor and plenty of sitting space. This is a very nice a clean store. I like that they have the sample cups where the regular cups are so you don't have to ask for them which is a plus when the place gets busy. I also like that they have a keurig available for people who don't want a cold treat, while they are there with others. I don't like the prices, but only because I recently realized I could get a pint of the expensive good stuff the grocery stores carry for the same price and some times less than a pint here, and the selection of flavors just don't justify the number of visits I would normally make. I love frozen yogurt and my favorite flavors are green tea, taro and original, and I've only seen the original, but not the other two here. They do have thin mint, which is quite good though. read more

It can be snowing outside and I'll always want ice cream or frozen yogurt! When they introduced the pineapple dole whip flavor, it was a game changer for me. That's all I ever get when we go here. There is a huge variety of toppings, but none are needed for the dole whip! Well, maybe some mochi balls every now and then. They seem to have the same flavors and don't change them out that often. That might be because of the time of a year though? Maybe that will change during the summer. As long as they keep my pineapple dole whip as an option, I'll be happy. The staff is very friendly and they keep the place nice and clean. They do stamp cards and also offer military discount. They are very proud of the fact that they offer this discount and always make sure to ask customers whether or not they're military affiliated. That is always nice to see because I feel like most places who offer discounts like to keep it a secret unless you ask about it. read more

James and Priscilla Croft founded Toppins Frozen Yogurt in 2012 to give the community a fun place for families to come together and enjoy dessert. Best of all you get all the taste, without the waist!

Meet the Business Owner: James C.

James Croft was born and raised right here in Oak Harbor. Both James and Priscilla graduated at Oak Harbor High School on 1993. We ventured off the rock for about 10 years living in Bellingham, WA and Lubbock Texas. James has worked for The Home Depot since 1998 and had opportunity of a lifetime to come back home to run the store here in Oak Harbor. We love Oak Harbor and the community that comes along with it. We are here to support other local business, and to give back as much as we can.

Now this is the Bee's knee's of a place, I went in the first time and was asked if there is something that I thought they needed to add to the selection of toppings. I mentioned to the young lady that it would be nice to have chocolate covered banana's. While with in seconds a guy comes out and say's wait one minute. He put together some chocolate banana's and Gave to me. the next week I went in sure enough they have chocolate covered banana's. I will be return on a regular bases.
