Ford Has Won Me Back!…read more (see Ethan in the service department) I purchased my very first new vehicle from a Ford dealership in northern Virginia - one of the proudest moments of my life honestly. After the first 12 months, recalls started popping up, and the dealership would schedule my appointments, then not perform the service, THEN mark it complete in the system... They would talk me in circles on the phone, meanwhile my brand new Explorer (2020 with ~20k miles) is running like it was built in the 90s... this went on for just over 8 months and never got resolved by them.... Hopefully someone can relate, unfortunately you understand how irritated I was and done with Ford... or so I thought. Fast forward to me needing to move to southern Virginia for work, I booked an appointment with Magic City and get this: - they actually listened to my problems - they cared about how much this vehicle means to me - they got me in in a timely manner - they actually know their recall techs and were able to give me an accurate timeline - during my vehicle's stay, they called me with a status update DAILY (shoutout to Ethan! go to him for great service!) - they returned my vehicle AHEAD OF SCHEDULE in "like new" condition, and all of the issues were actually resolved I am very happy with Magic City Ford and plan on using them for as long as I live in the area. An automobile is a big investment, and Magic City doesn't take that for granted.

this place is terrible. service department is a joke. wait over a month for an appointment that…read morethey have absolutely no plans on keeping that appointment. Had my car for over a week after having an appointment sit up 5 weeks in advance. they never touched it said there were no techs that were capable of diagnosing my brand new car. well guess what ford its been an issue for 5+ years on your explorers you know exactly what it is. the problem is none of your technicians want to do warranty work because you screw them over on the times. so you pass that bs off to your customers after they spend 60K+ on your junk suvs. magic city owner fix your service department its embarrassing to the ford name.

After a rear-end collision (not our fault!) a friend referred us to Wooding's for repair. The work…read morewas done pretty quickly, and it was great work. The after-market bumper did not fit well, so the estimator worked with the insurance company to get an OEM bumper at no additional expense. We will be using Wooding's again!

I would stay very far away from this business.  After having dealt with them on a repair job, not…read moreonly did they miss the cost estimate by 30%, they also didn't deliver the work in the 3-4 days they represented, but took 6 business days. Their excuse was to blame the manufacturer, which is a  convenient out for any such business.  However, if they are doing their job properly, they probably wouldn't have mispriced the materials so poorly.  My guess is someone pulled the wrong information. Of course, they told us of this the afternoon before it was to come in, with that appointment having been made almost TWO MONTHS earlier.  They weren't aware until then?  Also, the $300 additional verbally communicated at that time, turned into $500 more upon delivery of the car. No one should expect an estimate to be exact, but it's clear this place is either incompetent at estimating the work, incompetent at doing it, or perhaps it's just their way of doing business, or a combo of the three. One should be able to expect the verbal "add on" is accurate. Let me add, this was not an extremely complex repair.  It involved replacing the fiberglass front end of the car and painting it.  If they can't get something like this job close on the estimate, I'd hate to see how it turns out on something complex. I will never use or recommend this business in the future.
