My go-to for Chinese food. Dishes had the best flavor. Always fresh and amazing. No complaints here. Favorite Chinese spot.

we got food there tonight and it was not good at all. the general so's chicken was breaded very little sauce, and real grease and no spice. The Human shrimp sauce was burned, and real greases. The egg rolls was over cook and real dark and hard. We also had house special LoMein and that was very bad also. We had to toss it all out. Money wasted. read more

Got takeout from here last night. Everything was very good - shrimp rolls appeared to be made in-house, Hot & Sour soup had nice flavor & lots of ingredients. We got the Hunan Chicken - tasty! - it had a different type of spice than typical Chinese. Also, the Beef with Garlic Sauce, which leaned to sweet rather than spicy despite the little red pepper next to it on the menu. Both had ample & tender meat with a colorful mix of vegetables. All cooked well with lots of sauce - if too much for you, recommend dishing with a slotted spoon. Also, nice crunchies with for the soup! This place is fast & efficient. It is a typical strip mall Chinese restaurant. Walls seemed newly painted & decorated. VERY good value read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I use to eat here years ago when I lived in Highland Springs. This place must have different owners. Who wants chair chicken? This has to be a health violation. The meat is not being kept warm at all. Just sitting in the open air where flies , people coughing ect around it. Look at the grease build up beside it. I got carryout again last night, and confirmed myself to be a repeat customer. Here's what I ordered/ate: Egg Roll - Good, but not earth-shattering. Just your typical Chinese Egg Roll. House Special Lo Mein - Very good; I ordered a small; next time I'll order a large. Wonton Soup - Very, very good. Slightly saltier than most, but that's part of the appeal. Great Chinese food! I've had shrimp and broccoli and shrimp with Chinese vegetables and white sauce. They have a great lunch specials for a little over 5 bucks. I would plan to order out and not eat in the restaurant. The shopping center its an is a bit run down and the restaurant itself needs a bit of a pick me up and decor. But the food is great! Honestly, I was completely unimpressed. The food wasn't bad but nothing about it was really remarkable or even very good, except for their Crab Rangoon. I usually order chicken curry, teriyaki beef, various fried rice, mongolian beef from here a lot because its 5 mins from my job. I've never had a problem here. Food does take a bit time to cook as there is a lot of people that order here. Staff is usually nice. They don't deliver. I was kind of let down when I first discovered this place. Really good food made fresh to order. Stood there and watched the man in the kitchen cutting up a huge amount of fresh broccoli. The kitchen was clean, his work surface was clean; he was wearing plastic gloves & plastic hair cap. Typical Chinese food menu & combos (order by number if you want). No delivery. Not very appealing on the inside as far as eating in; we usually just pick up & take back home. It's in an old strip-mall type shopping center; the grocery store has gone out of business but don't let outward appearance keep you from ordering here. We have been going here for years. The food is very tasty and they have delicious sesame chicken. They make it to your liking as well. They are friendly yet professional. The owner always takes the time to smile and get to know her repeat clients. They deliver, which helped when I was on bed rest. It's more of a take out environment. read more

The place isnt much to look at. Reminds me of the places in China Town in San Francisco in the 70's. Great food which is the most important thing! We had not been here in a long time. Thought we would give this business another chance. Was very disappointed because the rice was greasy and tasted like they just reheated it. I should have stayed and watched them cook my meal. I went next door to the Dollar Store to get some drinks. $7.99 plus taxes for a sad "Combination Plate"......Like another reviewer said, food does not taste the same as it used to. Enter a generic looking storefront in a slightly rundown strip mall, next to a no-name grocery store, with the older man with a white beard and a southern drawl behind the counter. You wouldn't think that this would be the setup for good cheap Chinese food, but you would be wrong. Right when I got there, a ton of people came in as well to pick up their orders, which was a good sign. Nobody ate in, but it doesn't matter; the food is prototypical cheap Chinese food.
